thought 1st half was the worst i have seen this season. usually we are rubbish but this time both teams were poor. second half as usual a lot better. gutted we dropped 2 points although would have taken a point before kick of. gillet wont have long to wait to get his left back slot back. shinnie has developed into a cracking left back and cant see him with us after january, definately away in summer, if he keeps putting in these kind of performances. hope he is signed up, if he is we could make a few quid there. tade has a good engine, bur poor first touch. showed today he is not a natural finnisher. cant see him or foran getting more than 1/2 doz spl goals this season. have said before golabart is too fancy dan for me, his back heel from the touchline to hearts players rather than hoof to safety was unbelievable, crazy. one instant in first half chased a ball up left touchline to half way line which resulted in hearts playing a ball through our centre of defence and nearly scoring. tokely gave him a roasting when he returned to his position. this guy is going to cost us unless tel sorts him out. big bonus today if we had taken 3 points, but you have to stick the ball in the pokey when you get clear cut chances. big change when hearts brought on tahoull and templeton. could tell a goal was coming will have to see davis again, wasnt that impressed, thought he looked slow today and when chippendale came on i thought ( as others around me also said) tel started with the wrong newcomer.

was at east end park, couple of mins to go, free kick on edge of their box. hayes did correct thing pass into corner to run down clock. passes straight to dunfermline player who go up field get free kick and the rest is history. everyone saw what happened against hibs with seconds to go probably bit harsh on him on reflection,he is/was my fav player but was gutted to be 3-2 up and loose 2 points. same yesterday when 2-1 up and into extra time we were passing ball forward morrison i think through middle of killie and ball going straight to their keeper giving up possesion. when winning with seconds to go you dont get any more points for 3-1 than 2-1. we need to learn to hold ball and if not possible hit to corner flags to wind down the clock.
-
you would have been really unlucky to be hit in the north stand. that would be classed a good shot. i have been watching us shootin before the games for several years. safest place is the goal. really dangerous places are the car park behind the north stand and standing beside a corner flag. we do it every week so i suppose practice makes perfect

played very well for for first half hour and was thinking terry has found his formation. no hayes this week to loose possesion in critical areas which cost us the games against hibs and dunfermline. no one tried to shut down shiels at the killie goal, so he had a pop and scored. killie took over from there and were passing us to death. our players must have been knackered after the long journey to ayr on wednesday to be chasing shadows yesterday, but they stuck to their tasks . killie had chances to win game, eg shot off post, but we nicked it at the death. their keeper did not kick the ball from hand all day, always giving ball to back four whether we had players about or not. their passing and movement was a joy to watch. thought tel was looking for us to play that way this season, when we got rid last year of our hoofers. only gripe with killie was that they were very cynical when they lost possesion and we were on a fast counter. players chopping our players and taking a booking for the team. thought from my seat that the foul on doran which led to his shoulder injury was a red card. no chance of taking the ball just a scything tackle to stop our player. thought shinnie was good at left back and is now first choice in that position. thought tade and foran worked their socks of but lost possion quite easily when pressured by killie defenders. we need a big strong forward who can hold the ball up like brewster used to do morrison was effective in midfield also one negative --- i thought golabart would have learned his lesson last week at aberdeen when his fancy footwork cost us the game at aberdeen. he tried the same yesterday on the half way line and tripped over the ball leaving killie to storm towards our goal leading to a foul and free kick in a dangerous area on edge of box. think this guy is going to cause us some grief in the games ahead. he looks very slow and pacey forwards will show him up i fear. great to finally get a break with play allowed by ref to carry on for 2nd goal

from bbc website Jonny Hayes is out for up to eight weeks with a shoulder injury while Inverness team-mate Greg Tansey will miss one match with a knee injury. Billy McKay makes the bench; esson Piermayr Tokely Hogg G.Shinnie Doran morrison foran tade sutherland golobart

12 Tuffey 03 Tokely 05 Hogg 16 Golobart 19 Shinnie 02 Piermayr 07 Hayes 17 Morrison 09 Foran 18 Sutherland 23 Doran did we play 5 at the back tonite or another change of back four personel. have we started with the same back 4 for concecutive games this season.????? these 5 are back four players why play one out of position when we have our strongest squad ever, with all positions covered. sorry except goalscorer of which we dont even have a first choice in that department

i remember the old days when patterson was manager. after a season or so when the highland league was plundered for its talent pele got no more cash and struggled to put 11 players on the park every week. resulted in the same team playing week in week out. this was also at the time when county were paying 50 grand for derek holmes and if you played well against them on a saturday you were signed the next week. patersons team gelled ok and with the addition of barry wilson and david bingham to that group of players the next year we won our first promotion to the spl under robbo. maybe darren dodds was added also but at no cost. i was just trying to say it sometimes it is better to go with what you have, terry must have seen something in the players he brought in at the start. we could have the best back four in the league but if you cant score at the other end you aint going to stay up. if money was allocated for a new signing it should have been a decent striker. we have always been a team that leaked at the back but on occasion could score more at the other end
-
watching sportscene the kilmarnock manager could not understand why golabert went to ground at the edge of our box anticipating a cross from aberdeen player who then took 3-4 more strides before cutting ball back for aberdeen first goal. so i would say golabert at fault for both aberdeen goals. dont understand why butcher keeps changing middle 2 at back. any 2 from tokely, hogg, aldred would be ok if he stopped chopping and changing get a striker/ finisher in instead
-
i think in those days we had a regular goal scorers . where are we going to get one of them. certainly not one in the current squad
-
just wtached the high sorry lowlights on bbc online. terry what are you thinking about. surely aldred is better than this guy

shocking display again for 3/4 of game. last 1/4 ok. poor defending for dunfermline goals. 2 wingers not working, being overrun in middle of park 2 against 4. same as last week hayes very poor. team cant keep possesion for more than 3 passes. unbelievable tade stretching a toe to chalk of forans header for offside as it was entering net. played better when back four of tokely, hogg, aldred, pierymar although barrowman and kirk roasted the defence all day. when 3 -2 up game was over, got a free kick on edge of dunfermline box, hayes tried to pass ball into corner to wind down clock, passed to opposition instead who legged it up park to win the free kick for equaliser. jonny has now cost us the points the last 2 weeks. dissapointed in esson at 3rd goal, showed no respect to hardie, who even i know can hit a good free kick. was at the post the ball went into setting up wall while hardie was hiiting ball and then was walking to centre of goal when free kick passed him high to his right and side. worrying when we cant beat the team fav to go down. even more worrying we cant defend a lead with 2 mins to go
-
Esson Piermayr, Aldred, Hogg, shinnie Doran, jones, tansey, foran Tade sutherland hayes on for last 20 minutes. mackay in place of sutherland if fit cover for most positions now with possibly our strongest ever squad. we can do what we have never been able to do in the past------- dont play well step aside and let someone else get their chance gillet had a nighmare on saturday, slicing clearances, woeful first touch resulting in hoofed clearances, time to give shinnie his chance to claim left back spot again. same for tokley, hogg has to be a starter and aldred was commanding in air on saturday. time for rosco to stand aside to see if his place can be taken. same for hayes his touch was poor also on saturday and not for the first time cost us a goal losing possesion easily. (although outnumbered this time for goal , usually trips over ball or forgets to take it with him when running past players) hungry players will make a better team. everyone will know all places up for grabs
-
thought we were quite poor first half. hibs could have been 2-0 up at break. Esson excellent display Piermayr looked ok needs to get throw ins away much faster Tokely days may be numbered replaced by hogg next week i hope Aldred won most of his headers Gillet worst player in team. shocking first touch which resulted in him having to hoof ball away. can't/ does'nt kick with right foot. caused a couple of problems with sliced clearances and pathetic pass backs to esson. replaced by shinnie next week Ross totally innefective out right. will be better if playing behind striker. rightly hooked Jones nice touch and some good passing. looks slow and cumbersome. thank goodness he is 6ft 3ins as he does not seem to be able to jump off the ground was struggling to win midfield headers against smaller players because of this. hopefully when match fit will be an asset to team Tansey not convinced. will wait and see Hayes never thought i would ever say this, my hero had a shocking display. first touch pathetic, tripping over ball, running and not been able to take ball with him. this eventually cost us the match when he lost posseion for hibs to break away and score winner. may be a bench player this season Foran tried his best Tade great energy. was causing hibs problems. surprised he was hooked dorran man of the match for the time he was on. good pace. pity he did'nt have a go a couple of times. turned game in our favour. if only we could have taken one chance may take a few games for team gel. next week becomes a must win. losing becomes a habbit. . worrying on todays display that we dont have anyone who is a natural finisher. we will definately not have a player who can score 20 plus goals this season
-
just heard today that letters have been sent to all remaining players that they will be on less money next season than at present. he is definately on his way. also tuffey has been told by northern ireland if he is to be included in any future squads he needs to be playing first team football. think he will be hitching a ride with adam
-
na dont think it will happen. speaking to russel duncan, munro was told he was leaving because ict could pay 3 young boys wages for the same money they pay him. had to go to free the cash. time for fresh faces. there were too many players from peles days.

so fed up with officails performance left 10 minutes early could not watch any more. in the second half hearts player kicks ball into touch. standside lineman keeps flag down, obviously talking to referee, looks like ref didnt see it either so gave throw to hearts. linesman then puts flag up in hearts favour as if he had made the decision, what a pair of tossers. i am against the flack ref's have been getting this year but after witnessing these tubes today i can now see what everyone is on about. i sit in the family section of north stand and i could hear the whistle being sounded to tell the hearts player to go back to the throwins correct place. no wonder our players switched off waiting for him to do so instead he just threw ball from where he was still standing. not sure on rules of football but just watched game on alba and the throw in was taken from the gravel surrounding the pitch and not the grass. i think i have seen this done before and the referee make the player take again from the touch line.?? pathetic pass from cox,-- he seems to do quite often --- got tokely into trouble for second yellow. dont know how we managed a point today , duff was duff, gillet was very poor when in possesion, maybe not match fit, hayes needs his op, lost possion quite a few times in critical areas, rooney not the same player this last few weeks, obviously tel agrees when he keeps subsituting him, doran scored a good goal but apart from cutting inside does not have the pace to go past defenders, how this boy thinks he can make in the premiership is beyond me. ah well roll on the easier games!!!
-
is there problems with some players? terry's after match interview on bbc.co.uk "If there is a key to the win today it was the lads talking about having respect for each other. "Probably some of them don't get on as much as they have done. It's nothing major but sometimes it's about putting that to one side and busting a gut for your mate."
-
last line was a throwaway tongue in cheek. didnt think anyone would be foolish enough to take it as a reason for "dip in form" anyway isnt a dip in form a few bad results. 9 points out of 42 is a bit of a crisis is it not

we may be 7th at moment, but hibs, aberdeen and st johnstone are only 2 points back and sj have a game in hand. our remaining games prior to the split are all above us now motherwell h dundee utd a celtic h kilmarnock a hearts h maybe 2 points at most to be got in these games the way we have been performimg for the last 15 or so games with aberdeen and hibs now winning more than they lose 10th place is our best bet. depending on who st mirren have to play heres hoping they dont start picking up too many points or it could be 11th. heres hoping that hamilton dont start winning or 12th is a possibilty. if hamilton do, it only means we will be playing 1st div football a year early as we definately will not survive a 10 team spl. terry has talked up our league position all year stating the amount of cash that each place brings, which could be used for new players. maybe the players want to keep their jobs by staying just above the last place and the paltry sum that will bring the club

left early for the first time. have to say it seems very distant all the qualify for europe talk. top six absolutely no chance. i have seen some crap through the years but tonights performance was pathetic. we are the worst footballing side in the league. we cannot keep the ball for more than 3 passes. grant munro was shocking at left back. he is not a footballer. could'nt even do his trademark "howitzer to nobody" tonight. when in a crossing position or trying to clear his lines he trundled the ball across the ground. surely we could have played duff there to better effect. hayes had one good run and cross to i think foran who headed straight at goalkeeper when goal gaping. then hayes had a cross or maybe shot past the post. after that he kept tripping over the ball. the boy is not fit and even stopped taking corners as his foot was obviously too sore before trudging off. at least united tried to keep possesion by playing passes but it was simple for them as we just hoofed it most of the time to one of their players or lost possesion after a couple of passes. as long as hamiltom dont go on a great run we should be safe in 11th place which is surely where we will finish if the last 12-13 games is anything to go bye
-
we will do well to finish 10th. top six what a joke
-
not a hope. will do well to finish top ten. once celtic/rangers get their top 10 league and 3 teams are relegated we will become a 2nd tier team who will find the odd gem like robson, cowie, hayes and then pass them on for zilch (as there is no longer any cash in scottish football ) when they are out of contract, as we will not be able to offer the deals others in central belt can offer. would hope we could get promotion to first tier now and again but if we do our better players will be snapped up end of season leaving us as relegtion fodder for the next season.

I'm sick of this knee jerk attitude that so many fans have. There are no easy games in this league. We're on a bad run of form at the moment but still picking up draws and only ever losing by a single goal. It won't take that big a swing to turn some of these results into wins. We're still on course for our highest ever league finish by the way. Hardly the time for a wholesale clearout! we are in a false position at present. wait until the other teams start picking up points from their games in hand. if we dont start winning again soon it will be a real struggle to finish in the top ten

what is wrong with rossco, duncan and foran? (assuming rooney has left) IMO Rossco has been our best defender this year, we rarely win if russell isn't playing and foran is needed for winning headers and he makes some superb passes roscoe will be another year older, getting close to his sell by date. duncan has been there too long foran was a good player for us but all he seems to do now is stand around and moan at the younger players
