  1. Right M ,first and foremost ya have to download......... Ach, **** it , gies a ring in the new year if ya cannae get it going, the fact ya posted the same question twice worry's me that ye'll mebbes no even get it oot the box!!!
  2. Have always believed there's times and places, fitba is one of the few places where i believe colourful language is part of the culture and have no prob with it so long as it is not directed agressivily or provocativly at other supporters. I am, however taken aback and, whilst not offended by it, i am concerned when i hear parents telling their own kids in town to "F**kin shut up" ,or "behave ya wee C**t".
  3. Attendances would plummet as folk have plenty to do during the good weather, spectating at football is a fill in during the crappy winter weather, used to be fine when ya could stay warm singing and kerrying on, on the terracing, now were forced to sit freezing oor bulllocks aff on freezin shiny plastic seats,wi nae craic and little entertainment. (Did i mention i am getting disillusioned wi fitba)
  4. "The controversy saw a House of Commons motion being tabled" ....Unbefeckinlevable!!!!!!!!! Boys getting wiped oot in Afghan, bairns being abused all ower the place, the financial state of the nation in meltdown and millions heading for debt, unemployment and misery, and House of commons time is spent deciding a pic of a viking isnae offensive..whaurs thon "shakes heid in disbelief" smily.
  5. Think yer kickin the erse oota Christmas miracles there JB,eh'm still waiting for meh large voddy since Colin Hendry never apeared (Good to see ya back on the boards BTW)

  7. Shocking thread,i can't believe what football has come to. I haven't been to TCS this season, due in the main to an incident last season against St Mirren when ICT came back from 2 down to win 3-2 and a young and exuberant lad jumped the wall and was dragged out of the ground with his feet literally not touching the ground by heavy handed polis who went on to charge him.I remonstrated with them post match but they justified their actions as the match commander had instructed any one going onto the field should be arrested and charged. When folk like CaleyD and Mantis are scunnered it really is time for the club to sit up and take notice or i fear for the future of ICT and football in general.I personnally have had enough of being treated like a criminal purely for supporting my team( be it Dee or ICT) and wont be back in the forseeable future if at all.

  11. There obviously "no righters" ,I'm sure the bairn will be off to the deed poll office at the first opperchancity. Mind a lad in the RAF called John Rea, which you would think was a perfectly good name to have, his parents obviosly didnae realise he would join the RAF regiment where your starting rank is "Gunner",thus he bacame........
  12. I have to stick up for the Fluke here,It was left to go downhill over a period of a couple of years, and as Smee says the seats were minging and the whole place was getting well scabby, but since new manager Gordi Steel took over he has been workin his erse off with little or no budget to turn the place round and slowly is getting the place far better than it has been of late. He now has dual Sky to watch 2 different sport channels simultaneously and the food pricing is obviously structured to encourage the 2 for one offers,i agree the 9 quid burger is obviously no gonna happen if yer on yer own but when 2 are eating and the cheaper meal is free it works out a pretty cheap eating out with the bill rarely over a tenner for 2 folk or 2 courses for 8 quid is pretty good value compared to most town pubs. The atmosphere is also generally pretty good with no bother or hassle that i've seen.If your no happy with something ,ask to speak to Gordi( he's very approachable) and let him know your concerns,he'll deffo take them on board and is continuall working to improve the place (and no ,he didnae give me a free pint to write this)
  13. "He could BYE your club",jeezo! eh hope Mannie disnae see that ane, ya ken whit he's like about spelling
  14. Well done Barry, great club servant, get yer old man to give Jocky a call,i'm sure you could do a wee job for us at Dens
  15. Can anyone tell me,out of interest, what the percenatge of kids at the Gaelic medium school in Inverness (or other Gaelic medium schools for that matter)come from Gaelic speaking families who use the langauge as their main daily communication? I'd be genuinely interested to know.
  16. As an ootside insider or an inside ootsider, eh'd have to say Craigybrews position has now become untenable. With supporters thinkin of organising protests/boycots,former managers flying kites to gauge opinions and results falling faster than a fast thing falling ehd have to say the time has come for cheenge before it's too late.Sorry Craigy and it's nowt to do wi you being an ex arab ***@* it's just the way it is.
  17. That really annoys me when people say its dieing, not because im one of those people that will do anything to stick up for the language because its a load of bull. Don't get me wrong I'm proud of it and glad to speak it though. It may have been dieing at one point but not now, if anything its getting stronger with BBC Alba, the gaelic school in Glasgow and the increase of people choosing it as a subject at school. The only reason it can be percieved as no longer dying is because of the hugely expensive life support machine that's been put in place to keep it alive. P.S. nice wee film, but i reckon the road sign for Heasta and Heaste highlights the nonsense of double langauge road signing
  18. Aye, tis a shame, but unfortuneatly woolies left themselves in a time warp and really didn't appear to even try to catch up and join the 21st century. The feel of all Woolies stores is firmly entrenched in the seventies with a mish mash of sweeties,cd's/dvd's and miscellaneous hardware and toy's.I will miss the odd wander round, but usually found i wandered out again without actually buying anything!
