  4. Don't nessesarrily agree wi that Jonboy , my main reservation wi the OF doing well in Europe especially in the present finanacially driven climate is the huge rewards make them even more dominant and able to snap up other teams potential stars and put them on benchwarming duties.I agree the league would be lower profile but poorer........financially yes ,entertainment wise no.
  5. My tuppence worth on CC after originally thinking he may have been a bit lightweight for the job is he is more than proving himself big enough for the position Mrs PB.I hope your going to take the HN journo to task for nicking your DP signature to qoute in his article.....unless he asked nicely, did he?
  6. Eh reckon a lot has to do with the current obsession with "Celebrityism" and the publics insatiable appetite for snippets of gossip from the lives of folk they percieve as more interesting than themselves. Many also feel important being able to name drop and have some "inside info" and are desperate to divulge it to anyone interested.
  7. Much as eh despise all things OF theirs nae denyin thats a great good no bad result credit whaur its due :007:
  8. thats pass the parcel organised then.......... :party03:

If the Courier is covering 70-100 thousand would a daily highland paper not be justifiable,i know the P and J kids on it's local but i mean a REAL local daily.Dont know the feasibility ,just askin.

  16. Jeezo ,the stuff ya learn on here eh?had to look it up but can now use that at the next gemme eh........ "the referee's an onanist"
  17. Sandy's quite right to say it as he see's it,most of us are guilty of seeing our teams through rose tinted specs and the aftermatch back slapping can some times prevent us seeing whats in front of our noses.I thougt Monday night (on Sentanta) had 0-0 written all over it but was delighted when Bayne scored and disapointed when Lovell eqaulised, however it wasnae pretty but then not much has been this season.ICT have much to be proud of with their achievments but dinnae slate the guy for having the bollox to contradict popular opinion,it's good to have a Victor Meldrew who's no feart to ruffle feathers and question if whats good couldn't be better.
  18. seriously though, just had it brought to my attention on another board semi finallists in the last 2 cup compy's in Scotland Hibs(x2) Hearts Gretna Dundee St Johnstone Falkirk Kilmarnock got to be good for the game no?

  21. mebbes he meant wind and GAELS is it just me or does it bug anyone else how weegies pronounce Latapy as La Tappy?
  22. ooops, giving awa meh ignoramation and uneducatedness,eh did of course mean opperchancity...... the very fact that the owner of the Innes bar will benifit to the tune of possibly a couple of hundred quid at the end of the month,(nearer a grand if IHE turns up) due to a couple of throw away comments on this site, makes you wonder what could be achieved with effort. PS ,is Mike Read no a DJ? :004:
  23. Yer spot on ,Footy clubs are missing so many opperhancites, they think 90 minutes once a week is all they need to bother about.Lack of communication between clubs and supporters is very frustrating, also much needed extra revenue not to mention goodwill could be generated with a little thought and planning. The 90 minutes on the pitch is what it's all about but there are many more avenues clubs (as your rugby club show) which could be explored to maximse support.
  24. Inverness to beat Aberdeen on Monday night ? really hope so Celtic to beat Hearts tomorrow ? very probable Dundee Utd to take a point at home to Rangers ? :015: :015: :015: :015: (but then eh am biased....)
