Dont think so. They are saying they will make some games free to air. How that will work I don't know unless they plan selling them to one of the freeview / freesat channels. Alex I understand that the money goes into the Bank of UEFA, but when the likes of Utd or Celtic, Arsenal or Chelsea qualify for the group stages, they are guaranteed so many £millions (about £ 10m in Celtics case ) but they always get quoted as with group stages games getting around £4 million on top in Celtics case. the likes of Man U and Barca get even more, so how much will this increase their share. 32 clubs make the group stages of the CL, with £ 300m a season more in the pot. As for the free to air thing, they do that already. Our tv in the kitchen has free view built in compared to sky in the other rooms. Sometimes when I'm flicking through the channels one by one to find something of interest, the BT channels are free to view, as I've watched a good few games on it. So thats what they may mean by making them free to air.

Yep, BT have won exclusive rights to all games. think this is for European Champions League and Europa League games only. Exclusive rights, but the money is to only go to the teams competing in Europe, so it will widen the gap between the top of the league and everyone else even more. Sky still have the SPFL and Premiership deal with BT. Wonder how much the Champions League clubs will get per season? share of £900 million over 3 seasons, split between probably 8 clubs per season in the UK, £ 300 million per season, even if they get £10 -15 million more a season it will make getting into the Champions league each season even harder for those not already qualifying, and that includes us against Celtic. Is he looking to return to Hibs, or could he have been invited by the ICT board. Craig Levein also at Easter Road. Personally I'd take the more experienced of the two, hands down

First choice would be new contracts for Tel, Mo and Steve. Greenhaulgh showed he can turn a player and some of his crosses were very decent, wouldn't say to much against him considering it was his first start, and its a fair jump between under 20's and 5 - 10 mins at the end of a game. One thought though, he did seem to get out muscled when in a tangle with the defenders, but if he got room the crosses were dangerous. On chances created and balance of play, still dont know how we lost, even with the ref and linesmen having a mare. Plastic Whistle played some decent footie, but so did we. Doran's dink for Greenhaugh was class, so was the trick corner, but Jesus when you see the Fox fouls they are just so pathetic, and how the ref didn't spot what was going on I dont know. Something should be done about simulation to try and stop it, and although its all about diving in the box and round the box, I didn't ever expect it to be because of a keeper diving. In lieu of Scott Fox's antics during the game today, was he just being "professional" in using the keepers protection to his advantage, or was he just pure dead cheating, as that to me appeared to be as bad as Ashley Young's simulation. Reminded me of Steven Presley and his play acting the day we got relegated. How many times did he go down holding his head, so the ref had to stop the game for a head knock. Fox fouled our player 4 times by pulling them over and acting like it was him who was fouled, should have been fouls the other way, and to my mind three penalties, but a better ref would have stopped it first time by awarding a penalty. Will the SFA pull him up for simulation? Will Euan Norris be put down the leagues to ref next week ? I doubt either will happen, but if we were Celtic, there would be such a song and dance about this

Partick 2-1 up. We are getting robbed by the ref and the Partick keeper, every corner he is conning the ref by grabbing one of our players and falling down like he is being fouled when its our player getting fouled. 4 times i've counted him doing it

Just said on Sky after checking the rule book the goal should have stood, as after the ball has been touched it does not have to leave the corner quadrent to be in play. You can also see beforehand Draper saying to the linesman he had already touched it, and then saying to Doran that he had already taken it. If the Linesman thought it was wrong he should have flagged at Doran's second touch. Ref and Linesman don't know the rules they are enforcing, crap in it.
