  1. I think 2015, as 2000 was against a Celtic the standard of a current Rangers, 2003 was when they had there eye off the ball between two games v Liverpool I think. Yesterday was against Champs elect, seemingly Celtics best side for years, a Celtic who already won the treble in there own heads, the supporters heids and the merchandise makers heads, and in a game which was a meaning full semi final to get through to play / win against Falkirk,, on the back of our poor results ( one win in 7 or 8 ), Celtics record of something like 20 wins in the last 22, and to top the lot adding to Celtic fans conspiracy theory about refs etc etc etc priceless Also add to that expectation level
  2. Bolldocks........................ our exchange student arrives that night, Im the only driver!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. They will probably wait til towards the end of the season so we have a double header against Utd in the last week, so if there are still 6 points between us they can sell it to BT sport as the Euro play off, so Friday night Tanadice, the night before we play them up here...... SPFL Sabbotage again?????
  4. bauhaus replied to Dargo20's topic in Caley Thistle
more prize money for third place than there is for fourth in the league
  5. Its on the back of the Strathspey Herald that Adam MacLeod is waiting on an operation on his knees next Thursday.......he got injured in September!!!! Better news for him, Strathspey are confident he will recover ok and have extended his deal for another 2 years. Seemingly they think they may have been mid-table if he hadn't been injured
  6. I started reading this and thought you were talking about Scott Brown, then I got to the come on Celtic bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been away for a few days, no tv no radio reception and no mobile, My biggest surprise in all this was Scott Brown didnt get offered a two match ban aswell. Reminds me of someone like Jose Mourinho with him telling the radio that his tackle was brilliant which started it all off. He went over the ball and sat on it with his behind and took Ciftci out, who then did react because Brown had badly fouled him. Two red cards in my opinion, but Scottie is the darling of the media, captain of the national team, Is he above the law
  7. The unspellable one at Old Trafford tonight was ridiculous. Januzaj has dived time after time, must be taking lessons of Ashley Young
  8. Just saw the highlights of that game tonight. Scott Brown's initial tackle was horrendous, and a potential leg breaker, RED CARD, Ciftci's reaction again a Straight RED. van Dyke was also a RED card, as he was kicking out with his feet whilst on the ground, attacking the United player who was also grounded, Butcher also reacted, but not as fiercely as van Dyke, but the thought and intention was there. Dixon couldnt do anything about his arm at such close range, is protecting your face unnatural? But it did prevent a goal, penalty and booking would suffice me thinks. End to end game, and Celtic were the better team, but by god they can be dirty too. Regards the semi draw, must have been rigged, SFA will want a Celtic Hibs final to fill Hampden, love it if it ICT - Falkirk.
  9. Who put the white stains on the windows?
  10. Does the BBC have a thing against us as well as players not been keen on the Highlands. Noticed that within hours of Billy McKay signing for Wigan, his name was off the BBC list of SPL top scorers. Hamilton sold Andreu and released Antoin Curier but they are still listed as top scorers. Is this just typical or is it just me?
  11. Come on some of the ridiculous stuff on this thread is laughable. From what I understand GMS was offered a deal at that time but didnt accept. Armstrong was in the youth setup and moved to Dundee to live with his family. Fail to see how club can be at fault for this. The club can only sell players for what other clubs are willing to pay? No? GMS was on trial with us and, IIRC, he was asked to continue the trial for a wee bit longer as TB wasn't sure about him and his injury history. GMS got a permanent contract offer from Airdrie and went with that instead of extending his trial with us. Fair enough. Armstrong was with us but when we got relegated at the end of 08/09 he said he was waiting on a new deal from ICT as his contract had expired. Whilst he was waiting his family moved to Dundee and United stepped in to snap him up as we still hadn't offered him a deal as we were still trying to get our house in order after being relegated. Disappointing. GMS was on trial, played part of a friendly v Clach and as far as I understood was then so sore after his first game in a long time was unable to train properly again during the rest of his trial period. He only got his deal at Airdrie several months later, as he was unattached. Think he is a bit of a diver, so he will fit in well at his new team. Armstrong however is quality, and Im sure that Ronnie and 10CC rue losing him when we had to let all our youth potential go
  12. I was told that Yogi was trying to get one of 3 or 4 to sign for us, that was late Friday afternoon. They will be trying, but players want to take the chance they are offered. Regards Cammy Keith at Pele's Formartine, is Steven MacKay at Brora not scored barrowloads more than anyone else in the Highland League this season and last
  13. New Rangers have apparently agreed 5 Toon players to go to the lower division new boys, might be some quick movement to happen now from the new club
  14. Fraser Fyvie has left Wigan. Wonder if he will reappear backn in the SPL. Went to Engerland too early, would he be worth a punt ?
  15. bauhaus replied to Yngwie's topic in General Football
Poles apart, Soft rock, Gibraltar 0 Poland 7 so our group might be down to goal difference, may be important we kept Germany to a 1 goal win, as others will lose a few to them
  16. Can anyone tell me, cause I can't remember......when was the last time we won a league game by scoring the first in the second half, prior to the Celtic game
  17. He will be seeeeeeething about that score yesterday, bet he thinks they have lost direction since he departed.
  18. didnt deserve to be playing Maribor tonight. Hope they get Legia in the Europa league
  19. Not everyones choice but think Craig Levein is made for club football management, and changing the way youth are trained and scouted
  20. Adam MacLeod FOUR goals ( top of table Fraserburgh 5 Strathspey 4 )
  21. Won Man City the title too
  22. Adam MacLeod ( Strathspey Thistle 1 Formartine 5 )
  23. Are Maidstone full or part time?
  24. Sorry but thats a load of bull...., Liverpool didnt register Wilson for him to spend his league cup ban, so technically he was also banned for the first semi against us at the club formerly known as Hearts Hope Maribor hammer them 6-1
  25. With this tippy tappy heart in your mouth stuff we are playing, I agree with Yogi. Staying up is our priority. Avoiding the play off will be major this season, and I hope we can get there, not sure if I expect though
