Celtic attendances
Why are Celtic having so much trouble declaring their attendances. They seem very able to count Champions league attendances, yet games with smaller crowds in league and cup they have been having trouble counting, and then seem to declare it in round thousands. What have they got to hide, why the secrecy. Its not as if they are having to share the money

ICT Legends
Calder, Duncan, Munro, Wilson, Christie, Stewart, Wyness, Tokeley, followed by the likes of Foran, Golly, Rooney, Blackie, Mann and Robson. Does anyone think more or less of Barry Robson and Ian Black because they joined the old filth after they departed. tbh hate Aberdeen just as much as the filth, so does that reduce Johnny Hayes to any one else?

Rangers go into administration
No I disagree, both have overspent by tens of millions, with Rangers effectively liquidated over £15m or so whereas Heart of Midlothian are in more debt with a smaller income presently. But if you cant pay your bills you cant pay your bills, just some people are more to blame than others

Top of Div 3 clash postponed
tbh the stad de Borough Biggs would probably take the extra fans as its virtually all old style standing areas. Crap that health and safety gets in the way these days. Sorry for the fans who have tickets, but will now be wondering if they will miss out when its to actually be played. Wonder if any of the other Div 3 clubs had thought of this way of bagging a bit of extra income.

Chelsea sack Di Matteo
Saying all that, they were the luckiest team to win the Champions League or European Cup since Steaua Bucarest years and years ago. Two teams completely and utterly outplayed on there way to winning the top prize. Pep Gardiola would be crazy to go their, unless he just goes for the money knowing he will be sacked. What I do think is silly, all these clubs wanting Pep as their new boss, none of them have the culture and training upbringing to match Barca style for years and years. Can see him going to Italy more, same as he did when he left Barca as a player

Rangers go into administration
what happens now? Sir David Murray now no longer the blamehound as it has been proved that EBT was not illegal if not immoral. Hearing a collective sigh of relief from the English Premiership who pay these EBTs also. So Mr Whyte will be the target of Rangers fans aggression now, as he will be one to solely blame for not paying their VAT and Tax. Raises the question, if they were to know they would have had a positive outcome in the case of the big tax, DID THEY NEED TO GO INTO ADMINISTRATION AND THEN LIQUIDATION, AS IT WAS ALL BASED AROUND THE BIG AND SMALL TAX CASE. Could this be a massive mistake by the SPL and SFA, who we are used to seeing them score own goals. Rangers will likely get back to the SPL even stronger as they would have still been fighting to clear the manageable debt they had for a decade, but now they have no debt and will no doubt make bigger signings when they do get back. Will they have their signing ban lifted. Will the SPL compensate those clubs for the down turn in income without Rangers in the SPL, mind you all the SPL clubs chose to throw them out collectively, which in hindsight may not have been the right decision, although to all it did seem correct at the time. I know one thing, I would not want to be Craig Whyte now, as all blame shifts to his shoulders. An accountant said to me about 6 months ago that Rangers would probably get off with it, as he had some clients paid via EBTs, and they were not illegal. But it was his after comment that struck a cord. He is a massive Man Utd fan, and he said if Rangers get a guilty verdict, Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea were going to get visited first by the tax man, and he thought that this would probably not be allowed by the well to do workings in England as these clubs would cause so much unrest in English culture if they were to go to the wall. Dare say this means Rangers oldco will keep their titles. Still it will be strange to want Elgin City to win over the next two weekends, never thought I would want that!

Tbh Celtic's manager being an Irish Catholic made it even more gratifying for them, Except he's not. Irish that is. Jesus help me Bob An Irish man comes from Ireland, whether it be Northern or the Republic, the fact that Neil Lennon has had so much stick over the years, unwarrantedly, for being a Catholic Irishman from Northern Ireland, has been totally wrong. It doesnt matter where he is from to me, he is Irish, as are some of my own ancestors. I worked with many folk from Northern and Republican Ireland in the past, as colleagues and as their boss, and they all called themselves Irish, from both sexes and religious backgrounds. I never heard any of them say they were British or Ulstermen/women in 15 years. One comment I remember at a meeting we had in Belfast was the only time they were asked which religion they were was by some of the guys from around the Glasgow central belt area asking them if they were Gers or Celts. So if he was born on the big island to the west of Scotland, England and Wales, which has Ireland as the last word, he will be Irish.

League Reconstruction
it was on the radio tonight mentioning spl was a top 16 league. No further details, as SFL agenda was seemingly leaked before the clubs even knew about it. Spain use this B team system with Real and Barca, dont know how well it works, apart from they are not allowed in the same league, and think they announce squad for season and can not then interchange it
-
League Reconstruction
At least the SFL is trying to do something. It has been deafeningly quiet from the SPL and SFA on this for ages. Dont particularly like the Celtic reserves and The Rangers second team getting in, but it would increase attendances in whichever league they are in, which may also help those lower teams. I want to see this pyramid system introduced, as it will flush out some of the dead wood, but also offers them the chance to get back in if they earn it. Can hear the central belters now complaining as at moment Highland League is between Wick Academy and Pele's Formartine

A Shinnie fur Scotland
Only 16 players in squad now, with 3 keepers. Andy will likely get a run out, with outside chance of a start, as only 3 midfielders named in squad, he may get the nod for an attacking mid position. Billy Stark knows what he is capable of too. Have we had a player called up for the full Scotland team before. Under 21s, 19s, 17s, 16s, B game or several foreign squads have come before, and many after ICT,

Celtic Away Parking?
Taken the car down 3 or 4 times. Broken into twice, so wont do it now. Took it down to Sevco park a few times too but never had a problems there but parked in the massive car parks nearby
-
Billy McKay
Yeah, unlike the scotland manager to date for full team. Suprised Andy Shinnie didnt get a look-in

Anyone but that wee niaff Gordon Strachan. Hate him with avengance, hate the way he does interviews like he is following a fly round the room, cant stand his snide comments, and to be honest only did anything at Celtic, where even the fans their wanted rid of him. Id give Walter Smith another 4 years, as he has proved he can do wonders with average players, which is what we have. Id also get the ex Celtic, Chelsea's Somalian born Islam Feruz some time on the park in our next wc qualifier. We need to get our stoch back up, so we can get back into the 3rd or even the 2nd pot when qualifying draws are made. That will be the first aim

Scottish Cup Draw - Away to Ross County
Its split 50/50 after expenses. Just watch them charge for the caravans overnight, and the connections to the leccy, etc etc. Should be a sell out, so no cheating on lowering the attendance. What does the Dechmanns Shoebox Park hold now, 6000? Will be on the telly, but Hibs Hearts will be the first choice, followed by us, and then Dons Mothers. County will try to open up like we did against them, so it will be 100mph stuff. Do caravans do 100mph?

Doesn't sound like a thing Dennis would do !
Allegedly one had been getting too close to the others partner. Allegedly heard that on Monday. That would make it acceptable then, allegedly

Choice of keeper on Wednesday
Think the right choice was made for such a historic first meeting with The Rangers. To me it showed that Tel meant business last night, as previously he alternated the keepers in the cup. At the moment the team has obvious confidence in Reguero, and that will continue, as long as we remain positive in games. Esson must be ruing his injury, as Antonio's first team stats will be outstanding with us, wins and clean sheets were rare up until he came in at the last minute. Tel get Antonio signed on a longer deal now, as he is loving it and would probably jump at the chance of extending

Financial loss announced
IHE, all accepted we are a selling club, or feeder club, having to seek out fees for developing players, whether its through our own youth, or saving and improving free signings. Problem with that is we keep signing one year deals with players, so they end up leaving for nowt. We need to get into this " with an option for an additional year or two years" frame of mind. Where they are released if they do not perform to expectations, but if they do and are sought after, we extent their contract and make cash out of it. Then asking inflated fees, means you may get a fraction of the fee asked ( ie Victor Wanyama and the £25m, OMG how did Lennon keep a straight face with that one ), as with that valuation Andy Shinnie must be worth £20m, as he is scoring more in a less talented team overall

Some one on the radio was talking up Bobby Williamson the other day. What about his shadow-like the orange man Jimmy Calderwood, has done well without big talent throughout management. What about Jackie McNamara, seems to be an up and coming.

Ex ICT Players Score
Ceiran McLean laid pass onto Adam MacLeod, scoring on his debut. Sky reported the same but it was Adam MacLeod who scored. Looked at it on elgin city tv aswell. Stuart Leslie should have scored 4 but for a really bad offside decision against a player who didnt touch the ball and wasnt offside either

The big Scotland plan
Berra was all over the Welsh player and that was a penalty, it went in our favour and it wasn't given. Its hard to take when a goals chopped off but being honest Wales were the better team in that second half and at least deserved a draw. I thought our chances of qualifying was back on around 70 mins. Thats it though, absolutely no chance now. Change the manager and start planning for Euro 2014. Just saw the highlights... Berra: penalty, also the Adams tackle against Ramsey. Fletcher goal: the ball was never out of play, but there was an offside position before the cross. Double error, correct result. So don't complain about poor refereeing as most of his major errors went in favour of Scotland! BTW, it was the referee who didn't see the Ukrainian goal against England as fourth official. Shame on our German referees Thought that it was a penalty at the time, Berra and the rugby tackle. However, as it was analysed on sky today with the Monkey Hanger and 4 pundits on sports saturday, I have changed my opinion. They were right to point out that the initial foul was by the Welsh striker, as he looks at Berra and changes his direction shoulder charging Berra. Doesnt make the Berra graple look any better, but they are right, it should have been a foul to Scotland. Ramsay has been shown that it was a dive, or lets say he anticipated the touch which didnt happen, but his honesty was to try and get straight back up without appealing for a penalty, although you have certainly seen them given. Still doesnt change the result, we lost, although should have been home and dry with that second goal, but maybes it is meant to happen that way. Levein gone after Belgium game, Steve Pele Paterson becomes our saviour, with attractive attacking football, designed on the basis of we will score more than you. Scotland games would never be dull again.

The big Scotland plan
to be honest, it had started to look a bit brighter towards the end of the last campaign. But for a dodgie ref and a not so bouncy Czech we would have had a chance to be humiliated in Poland or Ukraine. Aussie game gives us new hope, only for a poor display against Macedonia and then Serbia. A good first half, another poor decision, well two if you include Berra changing to the oval ball, and poor second half display again. We had the players the press and many fans were calling for, and yet again we underperform. I know what Levein was trying to do, but its just no working. Time for an experienced man to aim for the Euro's in 2016, cause the only Brazil in sight is chocolate covered. Walter Smith, before Gordon Strachan for me. Levein must surely be feeling the coldness of the sword his is about to fall on. Belgium will be too good for us on Tuesday, and I fear the greatness of those two solitary points will make us the strongest team in the group, come next Wednesday. Its one thing to be pure unlucky with decisions, but the full 94 minutes tells you more in general. And we was not good enough. We lost the game when Scotty Brown was subbed tonight, whether through injury or being saved for Belgium.
