  1. All professional footballers should be good athletes. Thing is with Fraser, do we have time to allow him to gain experience while making mistakes along the way? we cant afford any more slip ups from not only Fraser but the whole team.
  2. It has to be Esson, getting really fed up of us giving goals away so easy.
  3. Dods has played a fair bit, he played against Rangers the other night, Dargo moved south rejecting a pay deal we could not afford now, he aint done much at Midden anyway. I think this club is broke and we are not in the market to buy players unfortunatley, might get a loan deal somewhere but players will need to be moved on to free up the meagre wage budget. Its going to be a big gamble for the board whether they can find money for players, and hope the manager can turn round the teams fortunes.
  4. I feel he has a point, they might even out over a season, but lately we have seen a number of very poor decisions from ref's that have had a bearing on a games result, of course we need to score more than the opposition, that goes without saying but it must be galling for a manger to see his team be victims of shyte refs poor calls week in week out.
  5. Clach might have a place for Rory, cant see peterhead taking him back. With regards money, maybe the board should be looking at getting some extra money from shareholders for ICT to get a couple of decent players, we have been quiet in prior Jan transfer windows, probably because we have been doing ok at this stage before. This season is looking a wee bit more tight and a good signing might make the difference.

I remember the last few games of last season when Mcguire and Granty were injured, Proc played there with hastings, they were both as bad as each other, thats why we got beat a lot in that spell. Also during the close season we were sure that they would bring in an experienced defender.... still waiting.

I really hope not, Proc is pysh at centre back... Duff should have been in there on saturday, at least he's played with granty in that position, and he was match fit, yet another weird decision from the management.
  8. Was that the difference? cant remember seeing excellent goalkeeping and mike fraser in the same sentence for a while..
  9. Wonder if the courier will publish the results of this poll on friday? 160 votes out of 1200 members is not a true reflection of feeling, but 80% of 160 is pretty damning.
  10. Aye, nightmare stuff eh? i managed to look at them again and it looks worse and worse, thank **** i didnt go. The players let themselves down, its one thing not performing for the manager, but to let the club down is almost unforgivable.
  11. Trust you to spot it Roger...
  12. Its a bit early to be talking of the parachute payment, there's a long way to go and Hamilton are poor so i'd rather talk positive.
  13. Aye but they got Harry Rednapp, been around at the top for a good while, been there got the t-shirt typr who certainly knows how to get players up for a game. Cant see many managers coming to us with decent credentials eh..
  14. Seems to me Brew is getting a lot of tactical / player choices well wrong, now i dont have a coaching cert or a UEFA bit of paper but i'm sure like a majority of fans we look at his line ups and subs with amazement and cant believe what we are seeing. Now when Brewster started he had Parkie to keep him right and we looked organised and things were looking no bad, exit Park, enter Malkie, this is the problem he is now either getting bum advice or non at all from Malkie, who is probably a yes boss man and has'nt got a clue how to sort out the mess. The realtionship between the assistant and players is crucial and i wonder if the players have little or no respect for malkie?
  15. We ( the fans ) knew last season that the defence was a shambles, and it shows in the above stats, a decent defender was surely the main item in the shopping list for the close season and it never happened. A goalscorer was also required and Barrowman may well prove a good signing but only if he gets the service, which at present he aint.
  16. Without wishing to start a debate can you please substantiate that comment, why are you pretty sure? Would it be ICT or Pele who would block it? And did you think Brewster would be back? Far too much of a risk do you not think, he has got big baggage and has never proved himself at SPL level, Robbo took the team added a couple of players who made a difference and got us up there, so we will never know if Pele would have achieved it. Brewsters return was known long before CC resigned.

Dont see anywhere shouts for us to ditch him Chris, Proc is a good player, at right back or right midfield, not thrown into central defence on his first comeback game after being injured for a while. Especially after poor performances there at the end of last season. Just stupid managerial decisions.
  18. Read it again.... ' he'd blow ' not he blew... Where he got the million to blow on the bookies i dont know or give a toss, i'm pretty sure he will never get behind the managers desk here again.
  19. Bit of a contradiction there mun... Even if it just to plug yer hero....
  20. More chance of Sergei Baltacha coming back as there is Paterson. Maybe you are a wee bit blinkered, but he jumped ship to go to Aberdeen, he was sacked for boozing on match days and poor perfomances, and now he's getting help for gambling addiction after admitting spending over a million quid-sorry wasting a million quid. Its nothing personal - just FACT
  21. Jeez, some feckingweird line up's going on here, Hastings at right back??? proctor up front??? proctor at centre back after his display yesterday??? Getting a wee bit mixed up and desperate boys.
  22. caley100 replied to strathyjags's topic in Caley Thistle
Eh..bollocks, do you think the players enjoy having their keeper make these feckups? it would not upset the dressing room, its a game of performances, and these guys get a bonus for winning, get Esson in there now!
  23. Could'nt take Paterson back either.. he'd blow the transfer budget on the gee gee's and the heathmount.

Dire decision to play him at centre back, remember the end of last season when Mcguire and granty were injured? Proc in the middle with Dickie... waste of time, completely usless pairing, thought the management would have noted that... oh, maybe the didnt. Brew is showing again his tactical stupidity.

Makes a lot of sense to put CC in temporary charge. If he enjoys it, handles the pressure and results are decent then it could become permanent. Well these are the three things that CC that he didnt have that made him want to leave months before he did, Only a lot of work by Grassa made him change his mind.
