  1. Well... you like playing with knockers Ron, carry on mate.
  2. Bollocks... Fitness and injuries are not connected, Football is a contact sport, meaning lots of tackles, bumps, shoving, jumping, running into each other etc etc, the fitter & stronger they are minimises the risk, bad luck and bad tackles make injuries. If you had been at Tannadump on saturday and seen Dods tackle on Black, you would have seen a tackle that caused an injury that was meant.
  3. Ya cant compare crowds than and now, 100K people used turn up to see Dunfermline vs Celtic, but in those days there was **** all else to do. Just work out how many things there are for familes to do nowadays, beside shopping that is.
  4. It was mentioned on the matchday thread that Duff that he was at fault for the first goal, and indeed was out jumped by the big lunk Wilkie, both of these situations were probably down to inexperience, but whether Mcguire would have done better is anybodys guess. Duff seems to have at least one mistake a game, which has cost us the points in all three of them and at this level and situation for ICT, is unacceptable. The guy is a good footballer and will have a future but he is on a steep learing curve, i hope Brew gets experienced defender in january and puts Duff on loan to sharpen up with first team football as it seems that Mcguire and Granty are the first choices.
  5. We will no doubt hear something today, when he went down after Dods tackle ( he should have been booked) i thought he had dislocated his shoulder - very worried as we were doing pretty well, pity Duff lost his man for that header. Those two incidents had a big bearing on the game unfortuately, we never recovered from Blacks withdrawl as ICT only started putting pressure on them after we went 2 down, Cowie for me is a mystery.
  6. Yeah, nice one Didnt recognise Rob in those clothes though, he's normally in something ' flouncy '
  7. I thInk with Rory its down an overall ability problem, he has some skills, that is not in doubt, but whether they are good enough to let him make it at SPL level is the question. We have all seen him score at reserve level but he lets himself down considerably when he gets his chance during his games in the first team. The trouble with Rory is that his plus points are much fewer than his negatives, other players have weak areas, IE Roy Mcbains right foot, Russells passes, however both these players have greater plus points, Look at the brill goal Roy got in Aberdeen, and the work Russell does off the ball. Rory in my mind has not got what it takes.
  8. I agree with Esson coming in, not with Duff though, need the experienced team out tomorrow for sure, i have reservations about Cowie too, he may benefit from a wee spell on the bench, start with Barry on the right, imrie left and Mcbain/Black in the middle, Rossco does a lot better when Barry plays, whether we go 2 up front or put A N Other in the middle is going to be anybodys guess at the moment.
  9. ;) Far too much :018: :thumb04: under the bridge for that to happen.
  10. Talking about scores... the highlights of the tues cup games are on the BBC website, Their goal looked a bit a defensive f**kup again, looks like Hastings got beat to the long throw and our defenders just watched as the guy poked it home, Anyway Dickie boy made up for it by nodding home the equaliser at the far post. I mrie also took his goal very well from Rooneys knock down.
  11. He had his chance at Peterhead, dont think they would have him back.
  12. FT ya beauty!!!
  13. I was thinking the same mesel I was thinking the same mesel
  14. Why should Esson not be in goal? he should be in goal every week. Anyway, Rory and Wood together was never going to work, not in a thousand games.
  15. Sounded like another fcuk up in defence.
  16. F.F.SAKE!!!! 1 -0 DOWN
  17. Esson Tokely Duff Munro Hastings Cowie Black Duncan Imrie Wood McAllister Oh dear....
  18. Damn... there was me thinking that the large intake of performance enhancing drugs gave Nairnucs the edge over fit youngsters! No dope testing at Station park then? unless they tested the locals that is...
  19. I would put more of the blame on Fraser, caught in two minds way way off his line, he needs dropped.
  20. Sounds like an average night for Nairnuc tinks...
  21. That looks good to me Johndo.. can you paste and copy to : Mr C Brewster c/o Tulloch Stadium Stadium Road, Inverness. marked Urgent!
  22. I think the shyte form of Don Cowie is more of a worry than Imrie at the moment.
  23. According to Brewster we were excellent and didnt deserve to get beat... the goal came from another defensive lapse... where have we heard that before? I would drop Fraser now. I would get Mcguire loaned out to Elgin.. but he's on some friggin salary.
  24. Emm, whats a holocost got to do with a players performance on the park Gillian? does not seem like a good word to describe what a footballer plays like.
  25. Another poor result, getting a bit worrying now, our one time target Elliot scores 2 goals for Livvy today and our second div sensation canna score for peanuts.
