  1. I would be ok with watching ugly football now and then if it meant a win... but we canna get a win at home no matter how we play.
  2. Just watched the highlights online, sannot believe how bad Proctor was.. jeez he was not at hte races, he was getting pulled all over the place and first 2 goals were him not picking up his man. Makes Brews decision to put Duff to RB and leave Proc in the middle more frustrating.
  3. He was. Guess we will have to agree to differ, he is a one trick pony, i.e. he runs about and gets in the way. The run into the box and the attempt to knock out the sign at the back of section F in the second half summed Hastings up.
  4. Market bar downstairs??
  5. Hastings was one of our best players today :thumb04: :018: ;)
  6. Hmmm.. calling Brew a muppet and a useless fool when he cant defend himself????
  7. Barrowman up front on his own was a joke.. he is a good penalty box player... and for that we need the ball into the box, and our midfield did it once today. To play him up front and pump high balls to him was totally pathetic, and not Barrowmans fault, as for Wood.. his ball control is laughable, that back header from Kenneth came back off the post and Wood could do was bounce the ball off his shin back to the keeper. Dont get me started on Hastings....
  8. Eh? so why cant they play at home? the players dont take any blame??? Imrie was gash today, Vigurs didnt look interested and Cowie looked like he is away in January. The manager played two players in the wrong place, Proc should have been RB and Duff should have been next to Granty. He cant be blamed for the shyte performance from midfield, the midfield that did so well against Killie and Celtic.

    Rooney

What i saw today was a player ( Barrowman ) given the role of trying to win high/pumped balls adainst 2 6'4" defenders... they feckin lapped it up by the way... Barrowman did as well as he could have with Zero support from midfield, Imrie was useless as was Vigurs, so when the chips are down the young ones disappear... and we blame Barro.
  10. Didnt hear him blame the referee today ya muppet.... With fans like you we will be better off if you **** off to clach. We tried hard toay against a GOOD Dee utd, we were beat by a better team, i'm not happy but the facts are staring you in the face.... no money to buy top class players.
  11. The onus should be on the drummer(s) in section G to get the shouting/singing going, if they are quiet the crowd will be subdued. Come on guys bang the drum!!!!! the team will respond and win 2-1 after losing an early goal....
  12. Unless something drastic happens to the weather tonight the game will be on, forecast is cloudy with light showers... mind you the told us to expect a lot of snow yesterday.
  13. Brewster should be judged at the end of the season ( unless things go really bad) this has/will be very much a transitional season with the blooding of a few young players, with no money available to buy experience it was always going to be difficult, like it or not.
  14. We knew that Barry was going to move on at the end of the season, so that aint a shock, Fraser - well we have a better replacement in Esson, So if its just money he's got some arguing to do. Black and Cowie are different, they are key players, Blackie has stated that he is happy here and wants to stay, he has matured into a fine player and will get better, Cowie on the other hand will probably leave, but we will keep him to the end of the season i think to ensure SPL status. So out of the four players I reckon we need worry about Cowie only.

There was probably a clause in Marius's contract that he receives 50% of that money.
  16. I got a fright the other night, got a big thump on my shoulder and this woman shouted at me ' when are you going to get off that computer ' is this a fault with the website or could it be at my end??? Any help from admin would be appreciated..
  17. Not only is it Midlands vs Highlands, the dosh available from Coventyrynil will be way ahead of most teams in the SPL.
  18. And its a very expensive panto.
  19. With santa playing the points will be in the 'bag' eh Ron...
  20. This is a degree of monopoly which is unacceptable. One of my main personal gripes with Tesco is the Cafe at Tesco Inshes. I have been going there since it was the Cope in the 1980s, it was great then and also under Tesco's direct management later on. However, since they have franchised it out, but possibly not entirely BECAUSE they've franchised it out, it's gone down the tubes so people have stoped using it etc etc. The equipment, which is apparently Tesco's responsibility, keeps packing in but worse still the hours at which you can get stuff are much shorter. For instance after home games I was in the habit of dashing in there for my tea before nipping home, getting changed and out to the Social Club. Now there's no chance of getting a meal at 5:30 - they are long closed. Tesco would probably pass the blame on to the franchisee but in the end, I'm now looking at transferring my eating (and therefore shopping) arrangements to Morrisons. Charles I thought a man of your means would be dashing into Rocpool not Tescos Nah... castle street restaurant maybe...
  21. Beats me how Asda ae having so many problems getting into the city when Tesco get the go ahead for yet another store, that will be another 2 or3 local shops down the tubes. Nust be a few brown envelopes getting delivered soon eh?
  22. We started vs Hearts 442 and looked ok, just finishing that was the problem, so if he starts 4 5 1, dont look for many goals. Barrowan has not been used correctly IMO, No way is he a targetman, seem to remember using Dargo up front on his own and it was a waste of time, Barro' needs to play off players in the box where his touch will be used to better effect. Anyway looks like ..... Esson Proc Duff Munro fobtc Imrie Black Duncan Vigurs Cowie Woood
  23. :thumb04: You've been in the Clach club then yngers?
  24. Hmmm... seem to remember watching the last cup between the Thistles in yer dodgy arms, well pissed off that night. Hope we do better this time, i hate the wee jobby Mcoll.
  25. ' So well done to the team and management on providing some good entertainment on a very cold day ' ' Just a pity we couldn't score.' I'd rather have a goal... So if we had a choice would you prefer goals or play well, this season we are finding out that our strikeforce are not going to score double figures - between them.
