  1. Friggin scary... really scary.
  2. Think you have the staying power to make it?? fancy taking Barry Wilson back in Jan?
  3. John, i live near you... but when that bar opens near the shop you might want to buy me a pint. Reason... during the celebrations at the Chieftain after winning the first div, i was was well pyshed..well pyshed, but you were so happy and drunk you knocked my arm and i threw a large whisky over my mate, but hey we were having a ball! untill now i've never had the opperchancity to speak to you, but never mind the hangover was the best i've ever had. Rich
  4. No offence intended saintj, but there is a difference.... Broomfield with a 1000 fans, and playing in front of 50-60k fans, he must have ambitions...
  5. Why did we not sign him when we had the chance at the end of last season? better bet than Barrowman.
  6. Hi John, Great to have you here! Would you in your opinion put a lot of the defensive problems with ICT on the lack of a replacement for Dods? Seems to me we have struggled defensively for a while and the current encumbant of the hot seat is playing players there who cnst do the job well.
  7. Think you need to get your keyboard looked at... Anyway, Robbo is history as David Sutherland once said and as DS still holds the strings at ICT dont expect Robbo back. Anyway, cant see the board doing anything regarding Brew unless it goes really bad, his remit was to stay in the SPL this season.
  8. I've spoken to Colin at the Innes and he's waiting for the call to put up a round for all the Internutters, dont delay now...
  9. Remeber the mouse 'city' too ? the big glass tank full of little houses and mice at the entrance to the restaurant in the Playhouse.. i remember staring at it for ages and asking my mum why the mice were getting lifts from each other....??? I've got 3 old prints on the wall in the reception showing Benzies and the Playhouse.. its amazing how many people fondly remember old Inverness.
  10. The loss of Barry was inevitable.. its only the timing which is causing concern, but to sign players in January the club HAVE to free up salaries to afford new players, economic sense aint it? Barry has had a couple of seasons added to his career after Brew sorted out his weight/diet faults, and he got the biggest testimonial sum the club has ever produced, so Barry has done alright, its the club which is the problem. Losing Barry is unfortunate, i think he could have helped us in our hour of need but maybe new signings in the new year might give everyone a lift.
  11. You have got to be friggin joking! is that what it says??? FFS the man has gone totally loopy.
  12. Its really somebody to put the ball in the net we want.
  13. ' he is a pleyer with drive, passion and a great finisher. He has found himself slightly frozen out this year, and would be open to a move ' Did that not describe Adam Rooney? and he cant get a regular game under Doh Brewster
  14. Oh well... we had a wee break to New York 2 weeks ago and decided to tie the knot, after 22 yrs of making sure! had a great week in the big apple.
  15. After the shocker Proctor had on saturday, i would not be surprised if Brew kept him in the middle of defence again! and kept Duff at right back.. Brewster has a really stubborn streak that will prevent him from making changes despite the formation not working, and saturdays team did not work.

    lose

    I blame that loser Brew...
  17. That will always be a matter for conjecture, my source at Hibs tells me otherwise.
  18. There is no point keeping players who dont want to stay, Dargo was offered a very good deal to stay and refused it. Wyness was not prducing the goods for Brew and as it seems St Mirren, although is an ICT hero it was time for him to move in my mind, just as Barry will go at some point this season. Rankin went because of Donald Park and big money at Hibs. Saturdays game is pretty important, but funnily enough i'd be more worried if it was to be played at TCS for some reason...
  19. Seems a bit arrogant of him to dismiss the fans view, but then its nothing new. There has also been a huge silence from the new chairman about our club, his media presence is about zero, seems to me he could be doing more to rally the troops/fans etc in this hour of need.
  20. Nah, no plane there mate.... wait a minute, there is something with its head in the clouds!
  21. Usually 12 months...
  22. I'm getting ind of fed up saying this is a game we cant afford to get beat... for some reason we get beat, so for this week i'm going to say... a draw will do.
  23. Just goes to show what you write when full of the grape juice eh... I've had enough of Brews Colonel Blink tactics, he really needs to get advice from a proper manager on how to set up a team and get players in the right position. Its quite obvious that Malky is a spy in the camp and trying **** ICT by giving Brew the wrong advice.
  24. Smee has obviously started this thread as a Brew basher again. However after saturday my position on the fence has become very shoogly, the playing of Duff at RB and leaving the very ineffectual Proctor in the middle of defence left me stunned. Playing a box striker like Barro' on his own was another piece of brainfade, losing at Midden on saturday will mean Brew losing his job in my mind, but while he is still good mates with the D.O.F. there aint much chance of that happening.
  25. Depends if the vans were white. Depends if the lorry was a Tesco lorry Depends if you were driving the astra car. The frustrating thing about crawler lanes is you will quite often see two lorries nose to tail, when they arrive at the c/lane the rear lorry will attempt to overtake the front lorry and take 95% of the crawler lane to do so.
