  1. Didnt bother Loovens much though...
  2. He has also had a few howlers... but hopefully he will learn quickly, we really cant afford to give more goals away.
  3. Thank you Kencar, someone who knows what he is talking about. McBain is by far the weak link of our starting line-up regardless of what position he plays. He is simply past it. I think he would benefit from dropping down a league at the end of the season. Oh aye.. someone actually agrees with you so they know what they are talking about! Roy still has a lot to offer the team, he is not the most talented player we have, but will give not stop effort and get the occasional goal. Teams need workers as well as flair players.
  4. Cracking pair of lugs on the boy eh! whcih reminds me, had a chat in the Innes on saturday with an ICT hero from the past... Brian Thompson(luggy) nice to see him again, nice bloke as well.
  5. The question is... when will the time be right? when certain individuals move on?
  6. Thats no bad for a starter... why no Fraser?
  7. The team will be whatever Brew picks to play, but i am getting a wee bit pi55ed off with the ammount of ar5e ups our defence is having this season, Seems that every week Brew is quoted as saying we need to sort out the errors, yet on saturday Hastings muffs a clearance, Rossco plays with lead boots and they score, The first was a complete lack of communication with Cowie and Rossco standing watching the overlap. You really need to sort the defence Brew, Do that and get Rooney/Barrowman on against Well' and we could get three points.
  8. Officially, they are not, but unofficially the club sell tickets to all and sundry.
  9. If you were at the game, you would know, if you watched on tv you would know, if you didnt get either - take it from me Hastings was not our best player....not by miles. He seems to get drawn infield a lot, whether this has to do with his Canadian position or not i dont know, but his defending leaves a lot to desired at times, but is Jimmy-jabbi any better?
  10. Imrie probably deserved the MOM, his work rate is amazing, if only he would stop trying to dribble past opposition players, he did it three times yesterday - he has not got the acceleration, might be better if he stabbed the ball 10-15 yds then had a race to the ball.
  11. Eh... how do you know?
  12. Wood should not have started - end of story. He canna jump. he has no pace, and ball control is ZERO. How many times did the ball bounce off his feet/knees/thighs/ankles and get taken off him..? This is a big let down for a very good midfield who looked far mre dangerous when Barry came on, unlucky towards the end when the ball just didnt go our way.
  13. Bad decision to play Wood in my mind, fecking Rory in the air, no ball control and no pace at all, he did score but his miss in the first half was dissapointing. Hastings went to sleep for their second goal, much like our defence for the first, however overall we did very well with some good performances. Brew is paying the price for not getting a decent player/goalscorer pre-season, Wood is too much like Rory, Barrowboy will struggle to get 6-7 goals this season and Rooney will need far more time to develop and blend into the game here. Anyway here's to 3 points next week...... i hope
  14. Nooooooooo... he reffed the Dee utd game two weeks ago!!!!!! guy is a complete divot. Mind you he can redeem himself by giving us a dodgy goal ans sending off Brown...ha ha
  15. Thought that all along...
  16. Good memories of Manic Miner on the Spectrum 128, going back a bit though, Also Doom on the PC had a good grip on me time... That Nintendo Wii with the fit thing, fookin thing called me a fat bassa and had to loose weight!!!!
  17. Yeah, he was an alright bloke, met him in Debenhams one sat.morning before a Utd game, was quite chatty and seemed a really good man.
  18. Mmmm. gettin a wee bit over the top here, the bitter pill is taking a long time to melt eh..
  19. Is Brew not the most experienced striker at the club, he would be the obvious one to pass on tips ( off the pitch ) but thats what training grounds are for.
  20. Well... you like playing with knockers Ron, carry on mate.
  21. Bollocks... Fitness and injuries are not connected, Football is a contact sport, meaning lots of tackles, bumps, shoving, jumping, running into each other etc etc, the fitter & stronger they are minimises the risk, bad luck and bad tackles make injuries. If you had been at Tannadump on saturday and seen Dods tackle on Black, you would have seen a tackle that caused an injury that was meant.
  22. Strapomen> is that the white beer? Had a hellofabucket of white beer in the Heathmount a while ago, stuff called Hoegaarden, didnt realise the price ( bought within rounds ) and what a feckin hangover.... never again.
  23. Ya cant compare crowds than and now, 100K people used turn up to see Dunfermline vs Celtic, but in those days there was **** all else to do. Just work out how many things there are for familes to do nowadays, beside shopping that is.
