Neither of them excite me much... not exactly going forward, is this all we can afford?

Have to disagree a wee bit, the defence is shipping goals, last 5 games we have averaged 2 a game, this is not very good as we can only score about 1 a game, this could be down to confidence again, but to me Rossco and Hastings are not playing as good as they should be. Seems to me we lose goals from crosses, which is the full backs job to prevent, and it aint happening.

You can try...but after its first blast they yellow jobsworths will be after ya! Sneak it in down the front of your jeans, ive been stopped a few times with them thinking i was sneaking in a canister, they soon got the idea and gave up.

The only game that we have had the ' Ill feelings' from the stands was the Motherwell game, the home games prior to that were Hearts & Aberdeen which i though we should have won. Whats causing the problem is the lack of goals, this is due to team selection and the players themselves, the fans will get behind the team, but as with the fickle highlanders only when we get 'up and at them'. What we need is every feckin fan to shout and sing on saturday, and not sit like a tailors dummy.

Some fair points Mr Bush, i dont think this forum has a direct effect on the teams performance however, the players know themselves that their performance is not up to standard at present. What we see from the stands is a team with a lack of confidence, that is all, fitness is as normal and skills do not disappear overnight. This is where the manager and coach have to work on the mindset of individuals, that combined with some luck, will in my mind have us turn the corner. So starting on Saturday, we need a performance, not 3 points ( which would ne nice) but to see the team back to playing the way we have seen before.

Seems that the defence and forward lines are picking themselves, Bayne is overated. only the midfield is causing bother. My own tem would be Broon Rossco Dods Granty ******** Baz Hart Duncan Rankin Denzil Dargo with zander given a chance for the last 20 with Bayne if we are still level and chasing the points - do we feckin need them!!

Ive been saying for weeks and weeks that Bayne/Dargo aint working... need to change it - soon. I thought when CC said last week that he was thinking about changes that this is what he meant, alas it was not. Maybe on saturday we can start playing on the ground again.

The crisis is that the team cant score goals, wonder if CC will realise that Bayne/Dargo is not working.

Roy has signed a three year deal... and he has a lot more experience than Zander or Morgan(who has been pysh even in the reserves)

I must admit i have concerns why CC perseveres with Bayne up front, its quite obvious that he and Dargo dont knit together, we need Wyness to start from now on. PLay the ball on the ground, thats what scored us goals last season... why not try it again.

Going by whats being said by the people that attended the game, the team are lacking confidence big time at the moment, so, the game vs Killie will be a test for the big one vs Pars on the 23rd, the is going to be the proverbial 6 pointer. Lose against them ( providing the tims hump them) and we are not looking good, so heres hoping the boys get it together for the Killie match.

Zander has plenty of talent, we have seen this on numerous occasions at reserve games, i think that they are building him up slowly, and not thowing him in the deep end too soon. he might have made a difference on saturday... :007: Anyway Rory is raw, but he's going to show a lot more to convince me he'll make it in the SPL, he lacks something 'special' .

I back Dargs to get back on the scoring form again... but as said above midfield are not pushing forward enough to create space with the result that there are 3-4 defenders covering Dargs = no space. Bayne needs to be dropped, he doesnt give anything special up front, get Denzil back on, and give wee Sutherland a chance, i waould have liked to see him on instead of Mcallister on Saturday!!

We already have an experienced coach in Donald Park, i'm not sure Thompson would bring anything special to our club. Scoring a barrowload of goals happens to us once a season, but i'm afraid with Bayne and Dargo, goals seem to be few and far between, both are good players but to me they dont seem to have much interaction on the park. Dargo was saying in todays paper he has been subbed 11 times this season, now why on saturday would we take off last years leading scorer, who can score if given the chance and put on a raw 19 year old? very very strange. Instead of going 4 3 3 / 3 4 3 and trying to win ala Falkirk, we juggle a wee bit and hope for a draw.

Yep, really pizzed off with the performance today, there was absoulutely nothing creative coming from midfield, Well were first to every ball and looked like they wanted to play a bit. When will CC see that Bayne and Dargo do NOT play well together?
