' It's been touted that Bobby Mann has been lined up as a possible replacement' Who touted? Adolf... Napolean.. the Brahan seer? .... Bobby left to be with his family in Dundee HE WILL NOT RETURN
  2. Well, we cant say he aint successful at what he does, so if this carries onto football in some way, we could be heading into a new era for ICT. Some good footballers in the states may fancy europe / Scotland.
  3. I also wonder who the US based person is with Inverness connections, willing to invest in ICT perhaps? ... Did Bill Gates not have scottish ancestors from the Highlands? :010:
  4. ' Caley 100 I don't understand why you don't think that Caff is capable of playing at right back' Harry, i dont mean Caff cant play at RB, just that i dont think he IS a right back, Caff does a job when he plays there, but you will never see him overlapping Barry up the wing.

At least its at home.... :017: and we might have a win or by then :017:
  6. Going by posts in the other thread Rossco had a poor game, what is a worry is that we have no proper cover for him at RB, Dont say Caff as he is not a full back and never will be. Rossco has not looked nor played as he can, is he struggling with this injury? Also with Denzil out i think CC needs a new face up front, Rory is not the part yet.. yes i know he's young etc etc, but we cant afford at this time in the season to blood a youngster. So get a full back to challenge Rossco and a striker to help up front. Was Morgan not a Left midfielder that we tried at left back? Roy is so left footed he has always played left midfield.
  7. Not a very good start to the season, Wyness out fer a while, Main defender does not want to be here, worst defeat so far in the SPL, looking for positives.... oh aye, Spar have 4 tins of JohnSmiths for £2.99 Its going to be a long tough season, thank feck Pars are shyte... even Well got 3 points today :009:

'Richard, 45k is for city and doesnt take acount of places on the edge like Culloden, North Kessock Lochend etc.' The figures that i checked on were for Inverness Alex, which included Smithton, Balloch, Culloden,Westhill which are all Inverness City area's. North Kessock is Ross-Shire and Lochend has only 168 people Cotter.. jeez and i though it was you that stank of fish... :015: must have been baby sick :016:

    Brewster never did it.

Alex, Inverness has a poulation near 70,000, it was 64k in 2003, Add 1000 poles per month and it is growing very quickly... if we could get all these Polish people to come and support ICT we would soon become bigger than Utd eh?
  11. Giving this power to some of the stewards that attend some of our games is very feckin scary :010:
  12. Was Di Canio's one not when the *** of a ref decided to stagger backwards 11 steps before falling down?
  13. Its all opinions Ken.. Tmftj and i thought he was the better of our midfield.
  14. Oh! almost forgot to mention Richie Hart, he was subbed first when in my mind he was the best midfielder on the pitch he was working hard, good runs and getting stuck in, so he was not happy at coming off which looking at Russell's, Morgans and Barrys performance was quite justified.
  15. Relief was the always the main feeling in my brain, especially after the Dons result the previous night, but we seemed to step up a gear in the second half. We had some pretty poor performances and some did well, of the players that were brought in, not many looked to me like they would challenge for a first team place unfortunatley. Barry looked out of sorts, maybe keeping himself for saturday? Morgan started well then seemed to drift away,Golly well... Russeldinho didnt do himself any favours, Caff was ok, seemed to be unsettled by Sons tactic of getting 'into our faces'. Rory came on and took his goal very well, then proceeded to miss two glorious chances which were a hellofalot easier to score than the one he did. Anyway we are in into the next round and i hope we dont get a wee team, but as we are seeded this means we will get Queens Park away... :009:
  16. The fact that we have witnessed the shocks from last night will give the players a wee wake up call if they thought Dumbarton would be not be a big hurdle. CC sounded quite serious on the radio in his build up for this game.. hope the players respond tonight.

Radio Scotland (Highland branch) reported that ICT were very close to making an announcement regarding a contract extension with Ian Black. :clapping04:

In my mind they are all a waste of space! waiting in hope to see a good, fair refereeing performance one of these days. :33: to most of them.
  19. CC says in the Record that he is planning 4 or 5 changes to the team... which could be a good thing, but then again.. Brewster made 4 or 5 change for our cup game vs Ayr last season, and you know what that was like! Maybe Caff,Hart,Morgan,Duncan and Bayne will be the five?
  20. He has undoubted talent, against the Celts however, he flitted in and out of the game, some nice touches and one brill shot which the keeper touched over the bar. Could well have been the occasion as this was the biggest game he has played in?

'after the merger half the supporters of either Caley or Thistle didn't want to follow ICT and still don't.' Have to dispute that one big time Harry. I was a Caley fan since the early/mid seventies, so i got to know the faces that went to Telford Street, you go into the Caley social club now and ask who amongst them wont go to TCS for football, you will find that the bitter ones are few in number nowadays, probably due to time and the success of Caledonian Thistle, and ICT.

Waste of time putting Black just in front of the back four IMO, that is a position made for Russeldinho for sure. Anyway, CC was on the radio this morning saying that it is a big mistake to sit back and let Celtic dictate the play, he has a couple of options on the board to change the line up to put pressure on Tic's defence. Cant feckin wait.

This seems to change for change alone! Will this bring in more sponsorship money? doubt it very much. will it create bigger crowds for SPL2 doubt it! Waste ot time and money if you ask me.

I would be seriously worried if ICT let Dods go to Utd and didnt have a plan to replace him. We have only one player in my mind as cover which is Caff, all very well saying Hastings can play in the middle at a push and Golly is champing at the bit for a return, we have sold Proc, let Parrat go, so we have Caff covering 3 positions. Golly has had it, how many times has he given a chance to show he can still recover his form from 2 seasons ago? I think this is the reason CC wont sell Dods.
  25. Its ... err 235877... wait a min.... sorry thats the Heathmount Hotel.. achhh have a pint instead.
