ICT V FALKIRK 19-09-06
Thought after a nights sleep you might have calmed down a tad James, but obviously not.. Barry didnt bother much last night, not untill the last 15 minutes that is, As i said in a previous post, Brown was good, Mcbain was solid and hardly gave the ball away, Bayne worked hard but to no avail. The problem as i see it is the goals are not coming, this is having a knock-on effect, panic sets in and our game plan reverts to boot it up the park. This is the same team that drew here with Celtic and had us all raving dont forget, once dargs gets the eye and a goal or two we will be back. Starting this Saturday.

ICT V FALKIRK 19-09-06
Well that was the biggest load of shyte i've seen for a long time! how they reconed we had 67% play is a mystery to me. I dont know where to begin i'm afraid, poor from kick off, no different after half time, they score, couple of subs, last 10-15 mins we start to pressure them - at last, did their keeper make a save - no, he didnt need to. Barry started get stuck in with 15 mins to go and showed what he can do if he tries, Brown was secure but he players in front of him ..... Rossco - pysh, tried but it aint working right now, Dods slow to most of the balls, lost a good few headers and punted the ball away like it was a punnet of dog turd. As for the Canadian F.F.S. we need a left back who see's further that 9 feet ahead of him, either that or someone who isnt colour blind, talk about poor passes. I'm afraid its not happening at home right now, dont know why, but the players for most of the game didnt want the ball, that tells me its a confidence thing. Bayne once again tried hard worked hard, but composure and him are on different planets, Dargo will get the goals again, its just like the start of last season..needs a wee break. All in all, pretty depressing cos' ive not seen such a passive bench, Parkie never got off the seat once, CC never showed one iota of emotion, how he didnt during that performance is a mystery.

Falkirk Ticket Prices
'I'll likely still go, but the reasons not to are fast mounting up. With not finishing work till 7:30 and starting the next morning at 6:00 it really is tempting to save myself the £15 and go home for a decent kip!!!' Whats more important, see yer team beat Falkirk(hopefully) or a couple of hours extra in the sack?

Yesterday's Support
We are being touted in some Sunday papers as the quietest in the SPL, from where we were in the North Stand there was quite a good bit of singing/shouting, but i must admit i heard nothing from the main stand. Now maybe this is because the team never gave us much to shout about, but the crowd have a duty to get behind the team at all times, and in this we are really awful.
-
The curse of Caley Stadium...
Yep, well more than 3600 at the game, looked to me that the North stand was 90% full, say 2300, main stand must have been 1700, with the Utd sparse few, over 4000 what the figure i guessed at kick off. Anyway, there was little noise from the main stand today, all the singing was from us in the north end, even then there were an awful lot of arms crossed, apathetic fans around me..feckin annoying :008: Now away games have few ICT supporters to get behind the team.. so how can they play so well away in front of less fans, we were poor today, Dargs was out of touch, Bayne is a 5 or6 goasl a season man, so with Barry out of touch we were always going to struggle. Anyone else think Rankin needs to be dropped?

McBain Contract
Ehhhh.. think you are a laughing stock Ted, of the team last saturday we had 3 players over 30, Roy30, Dods 31, and Barry 36, who is playing very well in case you hadn't noticed, and with Black and Rankin in midfield we have a pretty skillfull, slick midfield. So away back to yer Island and tend to the garden there's a good old duffer.
-
McBain Contract
Roy is playing well just now, and after watching his opposition for the left midfield (Morgan) on Tuesday, he should stay in the team - no bother.
-
Ritchie Hart
For fecks sake Alex, dont sponsor Dargo next year!!! :015: Morgan didnt do himself any favours in the reserve game last night, he never really got involved, no sign of Hart, not even on the bench.. must be an injury.

Reserve Game tonight
Nice photies Gringo, but they were'nt from last night, Denzil was not playing and the other photo was vs Livvy!!! I tried to post a report last night, but after writing it 3 TIMES, and getting pizzed around by the server each time i got fed up and walked the dug. The only thing i can add to official report is that the Hearts no 9 was the guy who played for Lithuania vs Scotland last week and scored that good goal... cannie do it against us though! oh and Russeldinho's goal was a feckin beaut...maybe 23-25 yds into the top corner.
-
Reserve Game tonight
this is the second time i have written this report, the first time i hit post and it put out a screen that it coudnt find www.hms sneck..blah blah blah... feckin pain this site is getting. Anyway.. I left hte gane with the score at 2-1 for ICT, we were 2-0 up at half time with goals from Russell and Rory, the pick a 20 odd yard screamer from Russeldinho!!! Hearts had quite a strong side out with many foreign players on view, i was reliably informed that the no 9 was indeed the Lithuanian no 9 who played and scored against scotland Last week!!!! some change for the guy eh! .... some crappy east european pitch to the delights of sneck!

Tactics for Dundee Utd.
Why are you dropping Mcbain Harry? he is playing very well, and Morgan has not played yet.
-
ICT the reason Petrov left Celtic
'" there was no power in my legs and my brain had switched off." Aye, Johndo had him in the pub the night before..
-
Trialists?
Must be a bit early to tell if they trialists are any good? thats even if they have arrived yet! surely cover for Rossco must be considered?
-
Its the last day...
Nothing wrong with a wee lie about yer age.. i'm nearly 35 meself! But he does have experience at the top level, and if it was the County blight that had affected him he might now just do a job for us ?
-
Its the last day...
Yeah i know.. you keep appearing
-
mcswegan
'hopefully a short term contract,or pay as u play and not some silly 2 year deal for a 35 year old' Short term contract is what i was told... aye more like £250 for every goal.
-
Its the last day...
Heard that we have signed or have coming on trial some Icelander? anyone else heard? There is no way we could afford ex Old firm players unless they are well past it, Malcolm etc will head to the Championship and still get £8 - £10 k a week
-
crowd size
He certainly was'nt man of the match last time eh! But what Mantis says is a valid point, we could watch Premiership footie on tv if we wanted, but seeing your own team live is better than the armchair. Airborntit, it is impossible to compare the SPL and the Premiership, just compare the population difference between the two countries to see how the tv money works.
-
Its the last day...
We signed John Rankin didnt we? I must admit i'm a wee bit disappointed we couldnt strengthen the squad a wee bit, CC himself said he would like cover in a couple of area's, now he's happy with the squad.
-
Its the last day...
Fair enough... cant see him getting a new left back, although i agree with you. Brew's theory is that you should always have two players to cover each position to keep the pressure on him. Rossco knows he will play except in times of injury, he should in fact be dropped till he proves fitness, if only we had Proctor....
-
Its the last day...
According to CC's interview with Charlie Bannerman this morning, we possibly have a deal with a scottish player, depending in the club in question can get cover for his moving on. The other deal is for two young English players who have been released by championship clubs to come up for trial, as they have been released they will not be affected by the transfer window. And that is it, one posssible and two maybe's.
-
Its the last day...
..tomorrow for signing new players, and with not much on the horizon its seems that Rankin will be the only new face to our team. I wonder if CC and Parkie are reasonably happy with the squad or are they tryiong hard to get cover?
-
Ian Black
Its psy-ops by CC, you know, leak interest and plans to the press and it will put a bit pressure on the player, seems to work, there's another manager i think tries this tactic.... Anyway if anyone see's Blackie in the street, chuck him a biro..
