Pysh and drivel have a story about Blackie going back to training on Tuesday and suffered a recurrence of his knee injury! Not so good, he is still looking at being back before the end of the seaon, but i think he's out for a while, cant see CC risking him for some end of season games, we have plenty cover.

I read that Brewster has organised for Yiniteed to go to - Denmark for pre-season, the same place as ICT last year, funny that. Hope CC sets his sights higher than Highland league teams and a friendly vs Doncaster.

Though ICT did ok against a strong Falkirk team which included, Ferguson,Scally,Mcpherson,Lawrie,Theobald,Lima,Moutinho and Steven O'donnell, ICT had Fraser, Watson,Vigurs,Kerr,Caff, Mcbain, Fox, Soane, Rory, Jackson and Zander. So quite a young team out, and they were up against it within 6 mins when O'donnell slotted home from the far post just as i sat down with me coffee! The experienced Bairns took control with ICT resorting to breakaways, Moutinho looked sharp up font and was giving the defence a hard time, Mcbain was tryng his best to relieve the pressure with some good runs but the support was poor. Fraser was called into action on numerous occasions to hold shots from what seemed to most of Falkirks team. Just before half time, we had a couple of chances, Jackson shot from 18 yds beating Ferguson but slipped past the post. Fox got involved now and then, the same could be said of Mcallister who really needs to brush up on doing something different, cos he aint got pace. Roy looked good, as did Caff who dealt with the Falkirk forwards very well. Sutherland from what i saw was quite quiet, but he's feckin wee! when are we going to get some height in midfield - maybe they want to borrow some of my legs! I couldnt hang around so if anyone who stayed to the end would like to add to this post -carry on.

Jackson did ok last night against an experienced Falkirk reserve team, maybe its just his age, but he needs to get that wee bit extra into his game, looks like a young Dargo type player. Anyway while you are talking of Fox, he was very poor last night IMO, wee flashes of what could be, mingled with large spells of indifference. The same could be said for Mcallister.

He came into the reserves after some good games for the under 19's, might i add that we sponsored him last season.. this probably had a postitive effect on him..... When i have seen him play he's been pretty good even against some experienced players, sort of like Burke from Rangers. Good future methinks.

Realistically it looks like we are a one play team, our tactics suit when we are the team under attack, abosrbing pressure and scoring on the break. When the roles are reversed, and we are at home the team are confused as to what to do, even against lower league oppostition ala Ayr and Partick. Its about time this was addressed, it could have a negative effect on season ticket sales. I'm feckin sure i'd prefer to see 8 home wins instead of 3 home wins, maybe mantis and the rest would argue, but more wins at home might produce bigger crowds.

He always seems do do quite well against us, maybe he's fishing for a move to a bigger club? And the signing on thing made me think.. although we dont pay a comarative high wage, do we give players a lump sum for signing on? eg Duncan signed on till 2009 would he get a fat packet this week?
