  1. Well Michael. i am the victim of raging inflation. The meal you bought me 100 years ago is quite simply unaffordable now. will a sandwich do?
  2. The following is possibly common knowledge amongst forum readers but it was new to me so I thought I would share it. My premier league manager pal was telling me today that he was on a course with Dougie Imrie very recently. Imrie told him that he was positive that he had the ICT job and what followed was a bolt from the blue. He didnt reckon that Dunc would be on much of a wage as , after Forest Green, his reputation was trashed down south. He also said that all managerial contracts , his included, have a clause which states how much compensation a sacked manager would get. Normally 6 months. This does mean that we dont keep paying for ever and a day for a manager that we have had removed. Glad to hear that as I always thought it was a bit of a racket. As I say....Many of you will know this but it was news to me.
  3. Yep. I,ll take that
  4. We are the DFS So near but sofa
  5. Just been speaking to a Premier League manager I know. He had only heard McAllister, O,Dea but knows that Imrie wants away. Very open race it seems

Great podcast again boys. Nothing to add really....its pretty depressing. McCann was at my golf club recently and allegedly said that he wouldnt be going back to ICT....stuff happened.

Grandstand finish by the sound of it. Woodwork, goal......c,mon!!!
  8. Sounds like we could do worse than try and sign a couple of Nigerian ladies defenders. Very entertaining game on just now
  9. I thought that that went without saying.......but then maybe not
  10. Mixed feelings about Lafferty. He is a lout and probably not the easiest to have around but I could see him doing a job linking up with Billy. Could be quite potent and exactly what we need. It may only last a few months before summat goes wrong but we could make hay and put ourselves in a decent position. You cant ignore his history and he has had second chances but might it be worth a punt ( an expensive punt as well)? I dont think there would be significant reputational damage although I note Goodwillie is punting himself globally with no success
  11. stair park, shielfield park, glebe park, gayfield?
  12. Whatever happened to Roger Riach..........cant even remember his pseudonym. Sound bloke
  13. Brilliant
  14. Tend to agree with this. A tad disappointing as the ball kept being played back when having decent possession. But everyone gave their all against a machine that no-one expected we would be capable of beating. Best goal of the game ( a goal was all I realistically wanted). A great day out with the Celtic fans great with me as I walked too and from the game in a sea of green and white. Full marks to them too.
  15. dont do twitter so can you publish a link please.......this effort deserves a wee donation methinks. well done mr T
  16. Good on ya old timer
  17. Well the dream came last night. Have you experienced it yet? Billy through one on one and slips it under Hart. We take the lead 2.1 with 4 to play. Unfortunately I then woke up. Can anyone supply the finish or do I have to wait until the day. For the first time I have the slightest sliver of hope........but as we all know.......its the hope that kills you.
  18. Hard luck Caley.....couldnt keep the run going. Great league. From a spectating point of view I am glad we are still in it but........the irony is .....we need out. Well done to all the winners and hard lines to all the losers. We need to hold on to players now. That is key. And we are off to Hampden again..............
  19. thats it then
  20. What a game!
  21. What a strike!!!
  22. Morton score
  23. Well said John
  24. Its a great story, fabulous achievement, so good for the club. It also represents a fantastic opportunity to capitalise. Maybe Im being a bit harsh and I certainly dont want to spoil the feelgood factor but we need to switch on .
