  1. Sitting dreaming of the good old days. What a fantastic journey! We, like most other clubs of limited means, have seen ups and downs.....but many more ups than downs. What we are witnessing is sad and hard to bear but, over a quarter of a century, supporters of most clubs our size will never have experienced the highs we have. Bucharest seems a long way off......but we got there. Most supporters couldnt dream of that. This looks like a potentially terminal decline. We have been spoiled down the years. A lot seem to be voting with their feet and can hardly be blamed for that stance. We are not entitled to success on the field . I am thankful for the joy and many friends that supporting ICT has brought me. Can I take this opportunity to wish all those connected to the club a Happy Christmas and a better 2023. I paid my tenner last night to watch the Partick game and confess to switching off at half time. I said to my wife that I cannot believe its a friday night and my team is playing in Glasgow and Im not there.....didnt even consider it. I am however sure that everyone is trying their best.......its all anyone can do.......but it just aint good enough right now. We are not entitled to success. Our time may come again although this looks unlikely for the foreseeable future. My suggestion is ...ease the pain by remembering some of the good times. You will wake up with a smile on your face. All the best troops!!
  2. Any news on Sutherland? He was the beating heart last year
  3. I was aware of this. Can I add my condolences. Another site stalwart bites the dust.....this is always hard to hear. No matter what you think of someones contributions, a quarter of a century of input must be applauded. I always enjoyed Kingsmills; like Scotty I dont think we ever crossed paths . Thanks for all your efforts over the years and may you rest in peace.
  4. Excellent way to while away some cold dark hours. Havent picked up on the World Cup yet.....not sure if I ever will. Keep up the good work
  5. Ive warned you about that sort of behaviour before Mr Yngwie.........poor form
  6. Nobody else feel that we can turn this around? More goals in this one
  7. Roarer............I hope you appreciate that that is the first time I have used an imogee or like button in my life!
  8. If the weather is anything like today down here then there will not be much football on display.
  9. We are in a play off place. Long way to go though
  10. its slow enough as it is Gringo me old china
  11. Great effort again. Look forward to what should be some interesting listening
  12. Im quite happy to wait until Sept RIG..............far too short a break
  13. Well I quite like No Shin Guards............a breath of fresh air. That dont mean I agree with much of the content. It would be a sad old world if we all agreed with each other. Eh what?
  14. Just found it. Sumptuous ball with the outside of the foot.....just as I remember it. My outstanding .memory from the Pittodrie cuckooing . Then there was the Lennon Juanjo? Sending off
  15. Do you remember the through ball from Bingham? Was talking about that a few weeks ago......any film of that game?
  16. Albion Rovers . I can handle that. The last time I was there was on, or the day afer 9/11. There was only one terracing topic.
  17. Totally agree with RIG. I realise the need for promotion but much prefer the vibe in the Championship. Rooneys celebration when scoring at Caley Stadium was muted and respectful I thought..............no need to keep that up for ever. From somewhere else......is Todorov a decent shout?
  18. Well that didnt work out too well. Great support, magnificent effort from the players......that first half was as good as I've seen them. It wasnt to be but very proud......again! No highlights on iplayer? Or anywhere else?
  19. With the events since New Year and in particular the last 2 games there must be a movie in the offing. Is it written in the stars? One thing is for sure......its bloody exciting.
  20. It's only just sinking in that we are still in this tie. Abysmal first half had me wondering about going to perth on monday. What a turnaround. Good looking crowd too......anyone know. Popped into the Innes to catch up with some old faces but no one there that I knew. Shame. But what a night......another one from our great wee club.
  21. Im coming up and I may be on a pavement........better dig out those shin guards. Eh what?
  22. Whats the parking like at Longman these days. Havent been up for a couple of years. Can you still park up on the pavement across the road? the dump?
  23. Glad of the realism in recent posts. The fact is we were rank for most of the game and incompleted passes......well i have never seen so many. Where does this long ball hoof culture come from?|One can only assume that the coaches are happy with it as a tactic. However we support a club who have given us so many of these magical moments and that was just one hell of a ride. Was looking to book stuff for Friday but just heard on the radio it is Thursday......better check. Proud once again of our wee club who just keep on serving up special performances...........cue a poll on fav moments. Well done all concerned and good luck for the final hurdle. Great to see the yougnsters out in such force but for Gods sake......I know its exciting but dont spoil it for everyone else.
