Ticket Arrangements for Inverness CT V Queen of the South on Saturday
Excellent. I hope the 500 witness a positive performance from the first whistle and a victory.

We have been practicing social distancing down the Longman for years !

Let's hope this is the last home game we ever play where the crowd has to be restricted for public health reasons.

Who will win the league?
So far, we have been fortunate in that every other member of the top five has been as poor and unpredictable as we have been. That will, almost certainly, not continue to be the case so we must improve if we are not going to fall away from the pack. The frustrating thing is that, on our day, we are as capable as anyone. We desperately need more of those days and soon.

Michael Gardyne has left the club
Nobody is arguing that he didn't contribute very positively when we were in a position to play him.

Agreed. Next week is a huge opportunity with a home match against Queens when we know for certain that at least half our promotion rivals, possibly even all four, will drop points. We have not always been great against the bottom five in the first half of the season. That now has to change.

Relieved to have rescued what might yet prove to be a crucial point and actually find ourselves a point closer to the top. However, that was, for the most part, very poor and we are going to have to find much better and more consistent form if we are going to maintain our promotion prospects.

Michael Gardyne has left the club
I am sincerely hoping that we will not be eligible to play in next season's Challenge Cup.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
Ricky Calder had committed a serious criminal offence. Gardyne, whatever we may think of his conduct, did not.

Michael Gardyne has left the club
I agree he was making a very positive contribution to the team and I strongly suspect he would have continued to do so putting us in a very strong position for automatic promotion. That's why his behaviour and the consequences thereof are so sad and disappointing.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
Gardyne had a valid contract until the end of the season. He did nothing to breach that contract. What could the club have done to move him on earlier if he wasn't willing to go ?

Michael Gardyne has left the club
I almost invariably wish our players well when they move on. Not so on this occasion. Gardyne's behaviour unsettled our dressing room for far too long and deprived us of a regular goal scorer in himself at a time when we were and continue to find goals hard to come by. I am sure, had he behaved better, we would have more points on the board at this stage and be leading the table. Goodbye and good riddance MG.

Michael Gardyne has left the club
On the contrary, it is good news for our promotion bid. A source of dressing room unrest completely gone and a wage released to help us recruit.

He can have Michael Gardyne.

Who will win the league?
I don't think that Kilmarnock appointing Derek Mcinnes improves their prospects. He may be relatively high profile, almost certainly the highest paid manager in the division but his last few seasons at Aberdeen were distinctly mediocre despite having the third highest player budget in the Premiership nor does he have any experience of the Championship. Time will tell but I don't think that the appointment will work out well for our promotion rivals.

January additions?
Maybe one reason he hasn't returned home is that he hasn't forgotten the completely unmerited abuse he was getting from the boo boys before he left. Some people don't appreciate what they have until it's gone

Financial Assistance
The Scottish Government has today announced £5,000,000 of financial support for professional sport to compensate for losses caused by the current round of restrictions. If that is distributed in the same proportion as last time, around £3,000,000 will go to football and circa £600,000 to the Championship. Not a fortune but potentially a very welcone £60,000 or so in the coffers in the next few weeks.

January additions?
Yngwie is absolutely right. Whilst the conduct alleged is reprehensible and, in most people's book, immoral, it is not a breach of his contract of employment and I would be astonished if any employment tribunal would regard it as any business of the employer, far less grounds for dismissal. Gardyne is almost certainly still on the payroll although, like most ICT fans, I would be delighted if that was no longer to be the case come the end of the month, preferably sooner, especially if that means we are able to recruit to bolster our title challenge.

January additions?
Given the circumstances, I should have guessed that he was Dundonian !

Who will win the league?
Call be an optimist but I think we have as good a chance as anyone and will sqeaze home although it may very well come down to the last day. Been a while since we participated in a 'helicopter Saturday' this may well be the season.

January additions?
I very stongly suspect that we are still paying Gardyne, probably one of the highest earners if not the highest. Finding someone to take him off our hands this month would be, by far, the best thing all round and for all concerned. County are stuggling for goals towards the foot of the Premiership. I wonder if there is any prospect at all of his making his way back Overthebridge ?
