  1. I am confident that that if we can keep our key players fit and free of suspension we are capable of beating Gibraltar both home and away.
  2. I would have young Christie on the bench. We need to take something from this if we're going to compete with Aberdeen, Motherwell and Dundee Unite for the European places at the business end of the season.
  3. It's decided on the day - with extra-time and penalties if necessary! If it's still level after all 11 players on each side have taken penalties it will be decided by the respective captains playing a best of five game of scissors, paper, stone on the centre spot. Richie has been in training for this eventuality.
  4. Hearing that Aberdeen have shifted ten thousand tickets.
  5. It would be good if the club to take a minute to update fans on the number of briefs sold by the end of each working day.
  6. Shareholder but not a current season ticket holder. Can't purchase online today. Apparently don't have sufficient privileges.
  7. Sometimes, less is more.
  8. Good work. Let's make sure that second train is needed.
  9. I remember being at Millburn when Darren MacLean was transferred from Inverness Thistle to Liverpool in the mid-80's. I seem to have a vague recollection of there being TV crews set up for interview in the gym...or maybe I'm confusing the time Radio 1 did an outside broadcast from the school. Anyway, I digress! He moved to Merseyside for around £30,000 IIRC. A huge amount of money in those days especially for a Highland League outfit. I wonder what the club did with that windfall? Did it all go on appointing Jim Leishman and putting him up in the Kingsmills Hotel! A fair bit went on carrying out essential repairs to the perimiter wall which was in such a poor state it was close to being condemned. If I remember rightly, a large part of a Leishman's salary was funded personally by Jock MacDonald.
  10. Well done if that's the pricing and well done to Dundee United for agreeing.
  11. That has always been the case in Scotland. See Alex's post above.
  12. Reluctant to lock the thread. Someone may have left a post in it they want to retrieve.
  13. It is not a fee paying car park. There was no invitation to park there, quite the reverse. There is no obligation, in these circumstances, to display terms and conditions because there was no contract or intention to create one. No cars were impounded the owners of the premises simply closed the gates to their own property. Instead of complaining, those affected should feel fortunate that someone had the decency to open the gates.
  14. The pricing at £25 and £10 concessions is also pretty reasonable for a major final.
  15. It would have been ideal if we also had a small section of the Main Stand for those who really prefer that to being behind the goal which I suspect would be a few of the Main Stand sweetie rustlers but what we have is streets ahead of what was first proposed.
  16. Thanks should go to Kenny Cameron for holing firm in the interests of the supporters.
  17. Problem is it's far from certain that anyone else will at the same price.
  18. It's a Cup Final ffs there is no need for a singing section the whole ICT end should be singing Dougal Another positive post. Are you feeling okay ?
  19. Trains plural sounds promising.
  20. Has this been officially confirmed ?
  21. Okay all's well that ends well but it's ludicrous that it took a public outcry for us to be treated as we should have been in the first place.
  22. Get down in time. Park at the stadium. Benefit the club by three quid. Share a car if you can. Be patient at the end. Simples...
  23. I believe that the BBC deal is similar to SKY's in that each club will benefit circa 80K. The down side of it being on terrestrial TV is that it's likely to have a bigger impact on the gate than SKY coverage and the kick off time won't help.
  24. Warning notice or not, simply closing the gates to your private property is not illegal. Clamping or the like would be a different matter altogether.
  25. Given the way the play offs have been skewed in favour of the Premiership club, that's very likely.
