the missing 2000 fans
I can understand where he club are coming from in that respect, they have to maximise revenue if we are to remain competitive in the SPL.
-
SPL club,
Can posters please refrain from resorting to personal abuse on this thread !

Until we go broke !

Trust for Brew
It's a matter of priorities. A Director of Football may well cost a six figure sum but in my opinion is likely to pay dividends in the medium to long term. Especially if we are going to persist with Craig Brewster as manager.
-
Trust for Brew
While I may disagree on the personel you mention, I agree entirely on the priciple of an experienced well connected Director of Football.

Following English Clubs
I'm pleased to see Exeter back in the league. What sort of crowd was there at Wembley ? Would there not have been a better atmpsphere filling the ground of a League or Premiership club rather thn having the match in a stadium two thirds empty ?
-
SPL club,
To be fair to the club, at least season tickets are on sale for once before the end of the previous season.

Champions League Final
On balance I'd prefer Manchester United to win as they tend to play with a bit more style and panache rather than efficiently grinding out results. Not to mention the fact that they're managed by a Scot and have a Scottish player on the fringe of the first team.

Good Luck To Rangers !
From a domestic point of view, I usually couldn't care less whether it's Rangers or Celtic who wins the league but after Wednesday's disgraceful behaviour by Rangers followers in Manchester I'll be rooting for Celtic to prevail this year.

Best Moment of the Season
The final whistle in the 3-2 Celtic game after holding on for so long with ten men.

Brewster's take on the Season.
..... and only Gretna have suffered more defeats and conceded more goals !

Paatelainen Given 6 Month Extension
I believe that the club have done the right thing.

Brewster's take on the Season.
Our players are now as seasoned as any in SPL football, our wage bill is far and away the highest in our history and yet we finish the season in our worst ever league position since joining the SPLwith our lowest ever points total. Entertainment has usually been at a premium and all too often missing altogether. Maybe not quite a disaster but very disappointing indeed. Unless something changes radically over the close season then I really fear for our SPL place this time next year. Hamilton Accies are unlikely to be anything like as poor as Gretna.

Trust for Brew
I'm afraid that I have very little trust at all in his ability to keep us up. Brewster was a fine player, possibly the finest uncapped Scot of his generation, he's probably a decent enough man but all indications so far are that he is a very poor manager and coach.

Summer transfer targets
More than looking. We've made him a firm offer which he's mulling over along with one or two others.

RIP Tommy Burns
I agree Tommy was an entertainer. A minutes applause is very fitting.
-
Good Luck To Rangers !
These people "not associated with Rangers football Club" will be those individuals wrapped in union flags and sporting William of Orange tattoos.

RIP Tommy Burns
I recall around about 1979 Celtic were playing a pre season friendly against the Jags at Kinsmills and there were the usual crowd of kids hunting autoraphs at a time when Old Firm stars appearing in the Highlands was a rare event. Most of the Celtic team, even the fringe players who made up the bulk of the Celtic XI, signed one or two autographs in a perfuntory manner and then departed for the dressing room but Tommy and Pat Bonner both made a point of staying out on the pitch until they had signed for every child in the queue.

Ian McCalll would be very low down my list but his erstwhile assistant Gordon Chisholm would be much closer to the top.
-
Good Luck To Rangers !
The main question is why the National Front and other extreme right wing organisations think it appropriate to associate themselves with Rangers ? It seems to me that you don't have to delve very far for the answer !

Barry signs new deal
Pleased he's got a new contract but surely he's done enough recently to merit a full season.
-
Good Luck To Rangers !
The morons couldn't handle to combination of alcohol and,a hardly surprising, defeat.
-
Good Luck To Rangers !
Not to mention the fact that their fans could clearly be heard signing throughout the match from the "traditional" song book.
