  1. Lovell would be a good addition to our team especially if Wyness is to depart. Although he would be at the higher end of our wage scale, I beliweve that we could afford to meet his financial demands, whether he would want to move to Inverness might well be another matter.
  2. I assume that these must be players that Malky Thomson rated during his brief stint there as assistant manager.
  3. That's why he's "stepping down".
  4. In a word; no.
  5. I agree with much of IHE's original post.
  6. Great game, fabulous result and well done to Queens for taking almost twice as many fans to Hampden than we did for either of our semi final visits there from a town quite a bit smaller than Inverness. Looking forward to a Q.O.S. St Johnstone final.
  7. Even during Alan Savage's tenure, the Sutherland/Tulloch faction have always held sway.
  8. I fear that might well be the case.
  9. I'd thought that Mr Sutherland had a lot of time for Craig Brewster and, in contrast to his feelings for John Robertson, was impressed by the way he conducted himself when he first left the club.
  10. David Sutherland's certainly proved hinself to be a safe pair of hands.
  11. That's quite a surprise. While it may cause some joy to some we don't want to see too much turmoil at boardroom level. What level of shareholding does Mr Savage have ?

Sincere congratulations to Rangers for reaching the last four of the UEFA Cup. It's great to see any Scottish team doing well in Europe even if a large number of their fans are ambivalent about their nationality to say the least. That said, what about UEFA's avowed zero tolerance stance on sectatianism. It was clear, especially in the second half that a good number of Rangers fans had brought the "traditional" song book to Portugal with them. Surely, if UEFA are to retain any credibility on the subject some action must be taken.
  13. We'll do well to hold off Kilmarnock and St Mirren to retain ninth place. To be honest, on current fom, I don't believe we have any real chance of catching either Hearts or Falkirk.
  14. Personally, I thought that St Johnstone would beat Hamilton. Having taken full points from that fixture I suspect that Hamilto are still likely to be four points ahead come the final match at Dens. That said, from the neutral point of view, it would be great if that match did turn out to be the title decider.

It's well known that Mr Sutherland was unhappy about Robbo's conduct during the time that the club were attempting to negotiate compensation for his move to Tynecastle.
  16. Brewster didn't achieve five out of five post split during his last spell, that was Charlie Christie. From my recollection, we didn't win a single match post split during Brewster's last spell in charge.
  17. Anything less than ten points from these remaining fixtures will be a disappointment.

Brown would have gone for nothing at the end of that season so to have got a fee in excess of ?100,000 for him was a good piece of business.

    Would we want them ?
  20. H; St Mirren A; Hearts H; Kilmarnock A; Aberdeen/Falkirk H; Gretna Would be my guess. In which case we may have the dubious "honour" of being present at the death of a football club.
  21. Then, good for him.

I wouldn't be too disappointed to see Robbo return. As a coach he had his faults but I believe that, unlike Brewster, he is capable of learning from his mistakes.
  23. Genuinely pleased for County and their fans although I thought that the match might have attracted more than 2,500 fans given that a title and promotion party was on the cards.
  24. Bearing in mind the overnight weather forecast, he might not need to. Anyway, where would he have got the ?20 from to buy such equipment.
  25. If it's not played tomorrow then Grena are unlikely to be around to play it at a future date.
