squad morale
Interesting but so far this subject has generated a lot more heat than light.

IAN BLACK ?
Especially with the very shrewd Billy Reid as their manager.
-
Juanjos Back....................
Juanjo was a great entertainer but he's now spent so long playing football at such a low level that I doubt if he could add to the side.

IAN BLACK ?
Did Brewter not also fall out with a number of first team players at Tannadice leaving them to train with the youth team also ?

Team for Gretna
Fir Park ? Let's hope it doesn't rain much before the weekend !

Team for Gretna
Looks like they will survive until the Split.
-
Team for Gretna
Not an April fool, there is a real prospect that Gretna will not be able to play saturday's fixture.

Team for Gretna
I hope you're right.

English clubs in administration
Not for clubs trying to sustain full time football outwith the SPL.

Who will be captain next week ?
There is merit in giving Niculae the armband. He had one of his better performances yesterday. The captaincy might make hima little less selfish.

ICT -V- Aberdeen : Matchday Thread
I have no difficulty with using Hart while he is still contracted to ICT. For what it's worth, I thought he did well when he came on and I'm disappointed that he will not still be atthe TCS next season.

ICT -V- Aberdeen : Matchday Thread
Ihave to agree a win against Gretna in the current circumstances will not mean a great deal. Anything less than a win, omn the other hand, could and should have serious consequences.

New Manger
He wouldn't be my choice but I could live with Robbo as manager.
-
Effort, goals, enterainment
Only if we remain in the same league as them.

We Need A New Manager For Next Season
Saturday's game demonstrated more commitment and was more entertaining but an eleventh consecutive game without a win must be another nail in the manager's coffin.
-
Todays Attedance
Prior to the match there had been ten games on the trot without a win and precious little entertainment. Although the Dons brought a very healthy support it appeared to me that their support was also down a bit on what they usually bring.

ICT -V- Aberdeen : Matchday Thread
Another poor performance in my view. Most of the football from both sides was of a very low standard. That said, there's no denying that the team appeared much more committed than of late and the match was entertaining for once. McGuire's performance was the worst defensive display I've seem in a long time although Grant Munro wasn't that much better. Thatsaid, the bare fact is that we've now gone 11 consecutive games without a win and were it not for Gretna's implosion would very probably be heading for relegation.

Are You Still Behind Brewster?
They were, in my opinion the real question is why that's no longer the case.
-
Something is wrong
Between them Caley D and Scotty broadly reflect my own view. It's a pity that the ethos of the club has changed so much for the worse.

Are You Still Behind Brewster?
There will certainly be no shortage of candidates.

Are You Still Behind Brewster?
Despite starting the original thread on this subject I would genuinely like Craig Brewster to be a success as ICT manager as a successful manager means a successful team. However, all the signs, including his disasterous stewardship at Tannadice, indicate that he is a very poor manager indeed. I believe that if he's still at the TCS this time next season we will be heading for the first division. For that reason, I have voted no.

Dennis Wyness
That was my initial thought as well Caley D. However the silence on the matter from Dennis and his agent since Graeme Bennett's comments a week ago makes me wonder.
-
Dennis Wyness
I agree that the fact that neither Denzil or his agent have sought to rebut Graeme Bennett's statement adds considerable credance to it. A sad state of affairs if an agent's greed has led to the loss of someone who remains one of the more skillful players at the club. If Denzil was unaware of what his agent was attempting to do on his behalf then it's surely time for him to get a new agent or dispense with the services of an agent altogether. I can understand why Premiership players who are involved in substantial commercial endorsemant, image rights and the like might need professional assistance but surely someone in Wyness's position who is an intelligent mature adult can negotiate terms of employment at a financial level not dissimilar to a lot of fans and without any other complications without requiring the services of a third part who will then take a slice of whatever cake he's managed to secure.

Players For Next Season
No player by the name of Rat is going to sign for a club with a cat as their mascot !

Caley v Clach 1949
The relatively high proportion f women in the crowd is interesting for those of us who had believed that women attending football in significant numbers was a relatively modern phenomenon.
