  1. Good to see Celtic join them, albeit by the skin of their teeth. Quite an entertaining game.
  2. Interesting that Morgan seems to be in the new manager's plans.
  3. That'll do Denzil's confidence no harm. Looks like the shock of the night might be at Love Street where East Fife are currently leading 1-0.
  4. On reaching the Champions League proper. Much as I detest what a great number of their fans stand for, it's always good to see a scottish club do well in Europe. I hope Celtic are equaqlly successful tomorrow.
  5. Should settle a few nerves.
  6. 1-0 Niculae's first goal for the club.
  7. Interesting to see how Watt fits in.
  8. Surely if it's a public vote the Old Firm will win everyaward in sight due to the sheer number of glory hunters.
  9. 1000 ish Brewster's return will not make much difference one way or the other.
  10. A tough month. Five points would represent progress and hopefully put us above Gretna.

I can't see any reason why those posting on this site wouldn't be a pretty represetative cross section of ICT fans.

It's a fait accompli now so time for those of us with reservations to put these behind us an give our backing to the team and the new manager.
  13. With the number of strikers now at the club I wonder if it would benifit the club and the player for Dean MacDonald to go out on loan until january
  14. Brewster would be a great attacking option to have on the bench just as long as he now realises that the rules do permit substitutions before the 85th minute.
  15. Proof that Mike Noble was a much better footballer than a singer.
  16. Kingsmills replied to Scotty's topic in Caley Thistle
I continue to have reservations about this appointment and the manner in which it was made but we're all ICT fan and should give our wholehearted backing to the team and our new manager. I'd like nothing better than for Craig Brewster to prove me wrong and be a resounding success in his second stint as managr.
  17. Transport and remoteness of location were once a problem for business in Inverness but that was partially resolved by the opening of the Caleonian Canal and more or less ceased to be factor wth the arrival of the railways in the 1860s. I was awaare that our club were a little behind the times but didn't relalise it was that serious.
  18. Well said Scotty.
  19. To be fair, County fans to genuinely aspire to be in the first division.
  20. For a start, I would have been inclined to much more firmly test St Johnstone's resolve as far as Own Coyle is concerned. If we were looking to Aberdeen for a replacement then I believe thay either Jimmy Nicholl or Sandy Clark would have been more promising candidates than Brewster as indeed would have been Rae of Dundee. Another candidate who still has strong domestic connection with Inverness is John Robertson. I know that David Sutherland was less than impressed by his conduct during his departure to Hearts but his sussequent managerialcredentials are much stronger than Craig Brewster as indeed are those of Steve Paterson and Neale Cooper. So by my calculation that's seven possible alternatives without looking as far south as the central belt. That said, whether we like it or not, Brewster is the new manager and we should all get behind him and the team in striving for success.
  21. DJS Dundee United were once known as Dundee Hibernian so, given their heritage, that would be the last thing they would be singing.
  22. No wonder Parkie doesn't fancy being a manager in his own right if that's the result of his half time team talk !
  23. The club are under no legal obligation to advertise, set any closing date or indeed formally interview.
  24. The boy had one stinker of a game. It happens to most 'keepers from time to time. I'm sure he'll be able to put it behind him.
