Give it a little time, we're only three games into the new season.

No need to panic just yet. We are nororiously slow starters. We were wll beaten by a much improved Rangers team who have won every domestic and european fixture this season. The other two defeats were tricky away fixtures where, in each case we could have come way with ull points on another day. I stil believe that we will b challenging or a top six place rather han battling against relegation.

Motherwell were unable to cover Virgo's wages so I doubt if we could either.

Not the worst disaster for the club to lose a squad player in an area where we're fairly well provided for.

Or much the same as we were offering Craig Dargo.

I'm not so sure that they are flogging a dead horse as far as their claim for financial compensation is concenned. West Ham could yet find that retaining their place in the Premiership may have been something of a mixed blessing.

Why would we even contemplate releasing Wyness. He has a great deal to offer even if his days as an out and out forward may be numbered.

I'm not suggesting that it's not necessary to maintain ticket prices as high as they are to finance the expensive business of full time football in he SPL. Nor am I convinced that a modest reduction would increase attendances greatly. Nevertheless, the prospect of having to fork out fifty quid to take a couple of kids to the football must be having an effect on the crowds.

I agree that the number who refuse to attend due opposition to the merger is very small indeed, nowhere close to three figures in my opinion. The lure of the Old Firm is a much greater factor as indeed must be ticket prices in excess of ?20. Much cheaper to take the children to the cinema where some sort of entertainment can be guaranteed in much more comfortable surroundings. I,m not sure that the location is a huge factor. After all the stadium is no further from the town thatn the retail park which seems to be packed on a saturday afternoon.

The boy would have been a great success if he'd stayed free of injury.
