Can't complain about two guaranteed home matches against each of Rangers, Hearts and Aberdeen. The Rangers match first off might also help boost season ticket sales which have apparently been a bit sluggish so far.

I see that our next fixture is a friendly againt Elgin City at Borough Briggs. Does anyone know why the Borough part of Elgin's ground is spelt the english way ?

I would agree that Alan Stevenson, on his best form, was one of the most skillful players to grace the Highland League. His problemwas that he frequently drifted out of matches for long spells at a time.
