  1. Kind of Blue, you, of all people, will know very well that the SNP government has not been in power nearly long enough to have obtained any properly audited costings of the duelling project and that it until they do it would be naive in the extreme to give more than a general commitment. I'm sure that you would be among the first to condemn if they made such a specific promise without fully autited costings.
  2. I'm sure that the Right Honourable member for Dunfrmline East will do and say whatever it takes to attain and retain the position he's coveted for over a decade now.
  3. Not only a lower rate of growth than most other parts of the United Kingdom but lower than any other small western european nation.
  4. I agree with that last post. I don't think that there's anything untoward in the act that Charlie Chritie doesn't see signing his nw contract as a priority given that his existing one has a year to run.
  5. To be fair, those calling for CC, head, although vocal, were a very small minority.
  6. Doesn't look like there's any announcement today.
  7. That makes sense.
  8. That just about gives me enough to go on. :003:
  9. Still better than monday evening.
  10. There was a suggestion quite a while ago that a certain low cost airline was on the verge of becoming our new shirt sponsor. Does anyone know what the up to date position is ?
  11. Mod or Rocker Alex ?
  12. I also tend to agree with DJS that tensions south of the border are as likely to hasten the end of the union as anything happening in Scotland
  13. Tempted to make reference to them having "had their chips" but it's very sad to see the end of over a century of football history.
  14. Great, saturday at 3PM it is then just as it should be.
  15. Today's news about argo must push Motherwell up the list.
  16. For ten minutes after every home goal.
  17. :003: :003:
  18. He could be worth a short term contract but we still need to try to repace Dargo.
  19. If it becomes an option I'm sure the club will sell alcohol if they can turn a profit by doing so.
  20. Steve Lovell has got to stop scoring injury time goals against us sooner or later.
  21. High time, apart from adding to the experience for the fans it would be an additional source of revenue for the club.
  22. An excellent argument for inertia if ever I heard it. If they had followed that principle Inverness Thistle and Caledonian would still be members of the "not broke" Highland League.
  23. Hardly reeks of unbridled ambition though.
  24. The facts, as they stand, are that a Ritchie Hart was detained for questioning in relation to allegations of possessing a controlled drug as specified in the schedule attached to the Misuse of Drugs (Scotland) act. That schedule now lists hundreds of different substances ranging from class A drugs such as herion to class C drugs including cannibas. It is not in the public domain which substance is alleged to have been in his possession and so potentially defamatory to speculate ande no such speculation whether purportedly "informed" or not should be tolerated on this site. Nor is it true to say that the player has been charged with any 0ffence and he will not be charged until the substance involved has been analysed which, due to the current backlog in the system could take months. Accordingly, much as it seems to irk some posters, the moderators would be failing in their duty if they didn't delete or amend any posts which , with specific refence to Ritchie Hart, went beyond what is aleady in the public domain. That should not, however, inhibit free speach on the subject in more general terms.
  25. McManus has now indeed resigned for the Pars. It's a bit concerning that both he and Buchanan have chosen first division football over the opportunity to play for ourselves.
