Worrying Low Home Attendances
I appreciate that you have been in North America for a long time Scarlet but cheerleaders and half time on pitch entertainment are not the answer in Inverness.Apart from anything else, they have been tried before with no positive effect on attendances. We will never have a huge support but entertaining and attractive football would help together with an improved match day experience including better catering.

Going away from the ground yesterday I wondered, for the first time since he was appointed, whether John Robertson was the right man for the job. Today, in the cold right of day, I am still not sure. I hope that, over the remainder of the season, things improve and faith in the manager and his ability is restored.

Poor team selection, poor tactics, poor application and poor, verging on irrational substitutions. The only comfort we can take is that our rivals for that final play off, which appears now to be our only realistic target, fared no better. However, even that final play off place will be beyond us if we continue to play as badly as that. On current form, Brad McKay is not a Championship level player.

I remember I once agreed with Dougal and Charles Bannerman in the same evening. Had to lie down for a couple of hours to recover.

I fear he will be overwhelmed by the Premiership atmosphere and massive crowds at New Douglas Park.

The Battle of The Jags
Personally, I would settle for Patrick Thistle at least one fewer than Caley Thistle.

January signings
We are in a play off spot and, with a bit of rub of the green, are perfectly capable of remaining there with the players we have. Dundee United have eleven new recruits to bed in and find their feet at the club. Our squad might be small but it is settled and tight knit.

He certainly deserves a great deal less abuse than he gets. Some of our 'fans' should be ashamed of themselves.

A loss but also an opportunity for our two young home grown strikers to make more of an impression. Disappointing but not a disaster.

I agree. It's a difficult compromise but the brutal bottom line is that we are barely attracting two thousand fans when games are played at three o'clock on a Saturday and the modest amount we still get from the TV companies is what keeps us, just about, viable as a full time club.

Putting two and two together and making five.

Gives us an edge in the play offs ?

ICT v County
An inconvenience but more exposure and more money for the Championship in general and ICT in particular is Probably, on balance, to be welcomed.

The Battle of The Jags
A fine result last night against high flying Ayr United. However, the week's work is only half done. That victory will count for much less if we can't repeat it on Saturday against low lying Patrick Thistle. There is no room for complacency, Patrick are battling to avoid successive relegations but, with the right attitude and loud vocal backing we can retain our promotion chasing momentum.

Maybe a bit backs against the wall in the second half but, nevertheless, a fine away win with a weakened side against a team who have been top two for most of the season. Back in a promotion play off place. More of the same and, not only could we stay there, but given a bit of a rub of the green and a few returning from injury, and it's still not beyond us to win the league and gain automatic promotion. Believe !
