  1. Sky reported that 10 voted 'No', one voted 'Yes' (Charles Green) and one abstained (Kilmarnock)
  2. Phone reception permitting I'll post updates here and on my Twitterfeed (@RossP_ICT)... feel free to copy and paste anything.
  3. I should be there. If so, I'll make sure and keep the updates coming!
  4. I still think the Football Aid model is very easy to replicate and bring a few £000 into the club. Off the top of my head... The supporters trust agrees a date with the club; perhaps at the end of the season. The supporters trust sell positions for 'home' and 'away' teams - fixed prices for 45min/90min positions. With subs and an average of (lets say) £100 that's about £3200 (2x16 player teams). I however think people would pay a much higher fee; especially for striker positions. Maybe have a 'legend' playing in each team or a 'legend manager'. This can even be done on ebay with 'buy it now' functions. Silent auction for the honour to wear the captain's arm band for home and away teams = £50-£100. Ticketed entry to Main Stand for £5 - I'd predict about 100 or so family and friends would want to attend to watch their nearest and dearest play at their club's home ground in a full club strip = another £500. Open the bar for pre-match, half time and post match awards = another couple of £100s. 32 fans go home with renewed passion for the club in addition to a raft of proud family members and friends, perhaps willing to increase their future ICT contributions. So even with those reserved figures; you are looking at £4000+. I'd imagine if this idea was to run, then we'd look more toward a figure of £5000-£7000.
  5. Not really first team news but Callum Dingwall has left ICT to join Formartine in the Highland League
  6. Any updates??
  7. ...and here's the follow up piece: http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/inverness/297162-reflections-in-a-transfer-window-inverness-ct/ Wasn't as happy with this one... I'll blame the weather, illness, mood, workload etc when writing it.
  8. Does anyone have a setlist for the half time songs on Saturday? I could've sworn one of them was filled with expletives!
  9. He seemed composed throughout with good distrubition... but for such a big lad, I dont think he won a single header in the match! Even the likes of Skacel and Elliot beat him to high balls, with Williams having no leap and almost ducking out of meeting the ball. I hope that's him just misjudging the flight of the ball in the wind; but I'm withholding my praise for now.
  10. YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Tokely and Gillet should be alright on Sat...
  12. I wouldn't let him anywhere near a pen! Far too much time to think. Here's hoping Wed's game doesn't go to a shoot out...
  13. That makes sense. Chris Smith's confidence must be destroyed after the last few weeks... error after error then shunted onto the bench. Really hoping we get him conceding early and is put under as much pressure as possible.
  14. How come he isn't available for the Cup game on Wednesday? He was signed on the same day as Iain Turner for Dunfermline I think, so does that mean he won't be available either? http://m.stv.tv/sport/football/scottish-premier/inverness/293751-steve-williams-targets-successful-loan-spell-at-inverness/ Leaves us with Golabart and Meekings as the only fit central defenders??
  15. At the time we signed Tade, Raith had narrowly missed promotion. Rooney rumour came from murmurings I'd heard from an ex-player in the pub and overhearing quite a few folk mention it online and at ICT stadium. Thanks for the kind words folks... I have to write another article at the end of the window; so expect a bump when that's uploaded
  16. http://sport.stv.tv/blog/293529-transfer-wishlist-who-do-you-want-at-your-club/ If you are interested, STV asked me to write up our thoughts for this transfer window. Feel free to criticise and complain at my comments...
  17. I did the first Kiltwalk in 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Dithering over whether to do the Football Aid game at Hampden or the Kiltwalk again this year...
  18. Excellent if true! Can't make away games during the week due to work, so this will be an evening spent in front of the TV with a few beers Good bit of cash for the club as well (Sky = £70k odd from what I remember, plus a share of the couple of hundred folk that go)
  19. Excellent I'll definitely get to visit East End park for the first time in February before they get relegated...
  20. I was thinking this as well, but I reckon it'll be Hamilton v St Mirren which would be the more likely televised match.
  21. Andy Shinnie and Tokely are both out tomorrow, based on what OTJ's just tweeted
  22. I reckon you should get a new mate.
  23. Ominous...
  24. It would appear on twittee that Tokely is out and Hayes is captain tomorrow. I would've had Esson as captain, but maybe Butcher is giving the armband to Hayes in an effort to keep him sweet ahead of contract negotiations... Same team as the last 2 games with Tansey coming in for Foran I think.
  25. Inverness Courier link I don't see us getting in any big offers for our first teamers this xmas window, so I imagine it'll be the fringe players that will be moved on either as a loan or a free transfer. Gavin Morrison? With Tansey, Davis, Cox, Tudor-Jones and now Foran all pushing for starts in centre mid, I don't think we'll see him again this season. Nick Ross See above, similar to Morrison. Shane Sutherland Another who hasn't had the chances due to the form of Tade, Hayes and the potential for a fully fit Doran. All 3 are young and on deals beyond this season (I think) so it'd be worthwhile looking at loan deals to SFL clubs. David Proctor Been at the club for quite a number of years, but never likely to be a first pick... and regularly injured. We should be looking at moving him on given the chance I think. Liam Polworth Too young for a loan deal to Elgin or Clach??
