  1. Just saw the BBC alba interview with him aired at HT. He claims County don't have a 'sugar daddy' and have the lowest wage budget in the SPL!? #seethe
  2. I see St Mirren reserves are pummelling Dundee just now in terms of shots and possession. 1-0 Saints just now, but the way they are going it could be more... Edit 2-1 Dundee now... Oops!
  3. Rearranged to the only free weekend I have in March - boost! I've just got to survive another month or so of Sunday Amateurs without injury now...
  4. As I look out my ICT top for the gym, I can't help but look forward to work tomorrow. Sometimes living in Aberdeen can have its advantages :)
  5. As far as I'm aware he'd be available. This does suggest though that big Zal or Andy Webster could be off...

I've taught Ryan Jack and Cammy Smith at their respective secondary schools and have taken in quite a few of their youth games. Cammy is light years ahead of Ryan in terms of ability and attitude. He will definitely end up playing for Scotland IMO...
  7. According to an online ticketing site, the Famous Five stand has 2,149 seats in the lower tier and 1,609 seats in the upper tier (250 of which are hospitality). That's 3,758 in total for us to sell. I think we are only selling lower section at the moment, so the only info I can deduce is that we have sold less than 2149. Hopefully there'll be a constant stream of sales during the week and then a rush after a win v. The Dons!
  8. I like where this thread is going...
  9. *Jumped. www.urbandictionary.com JAMP A past term verb indicating when something was jumped over. Used candidly now to refer to TV series, films and celebrities last finest moment. (Eytm - Jump The Shark circa 1995) LOL! Yes, jamp is indeed in 'urban' dictionary. Jumped is the correct word though. I'll leave my spelling nazi hat off for the remainder of this thread, as I shouldn't be educating in my school lunch hour...
  10. Relying on teletext to tell you scores for games that you couldn't make? Remembering the SFL highlights programme shown on Sunday lunchtimes?
  11. Golobart starts for Wigan today! I'll predict he scores an overhead kick for both sides...

  13. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/barnsley-target-inverness-caley-chief-1512944 With the possibility of a cup final and top 6 football/Europe, I'm not overly concerned at this story from such an unreliable source...
  14. Similar to the 'wall of fame' in the Pittodrie Bar, would there be any scope in getting framed pictures of these commissioned for the Caley club or ICT stadium bar?
  15. I see Collum's crap performance continued in his next game... http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/4718352/Sporting-Spiders-a-tad-upset-by-that-bounder-Collum.html
  16. I've always found these sort of chants cringeworthy and absolutely pointless. Here's hoping that everyone's pays heed to the warning.

  19. Off topic, but I'm amazed to see there is another fan of the band American Football on here! I'll be heading through. Been to a dozen games so far this season and haven't seen a loss yet, so here's hoping for another 3 points!
  20. OTJ

RossP replied to davieB's topic in Caley Thistle
Yep I was meaning OTJ was great, but there were poor performances from others. It's been really difficult to think of 3 players for the player votes... OTJ, Warren and Raven were brilliant. Despite scoring two goals and making some great runs, McKay struggled to get in the game. Both Shinnie's had some fantastic moments, but also some awful ones. Doran, Draper and Foran didn't do anything really wrong but didn't damage Dundee as much as they can Just my thoughts. I'd rather win 4-1 with a performance not as good as we can play than lose but play well.

Flawless today. Quite a lot of poor performances through the team today, yet we get a 4-1 win? I'll take it.
  22. It'll be interesting what kind of squad they'll have by this game, in addition to how their morale will be! That is the bonus payments deferral rejected by their players, suggesting that many would be looking for a move in Jan and Hearts would needs the cash from transfers.
  23. I'm assuming if I buy the tickets tonight/tomorrow, I'll be picking them up rather than them being sent? (That'd be my preference!)
  24. Josh Magennis was saying the same thing after we beat the Dons the other week, even going as far as saying we are a long ball team! #deluded
