  1. Train tickets booked. First visit to Fir Park as well, so that'll be another one crossed off the list. I really don't think we'll get anything from the match, but I'll go with hope in my heart all the same!
  2. Doran saying on twitter he's still waiting on the paperwork being completed, which is unlikely to be done today. Might not be available to play tomorrow which is a shame. Can we list him as a trialist?
  3. Maybe Butcher was on the same coaching course as Danny Lennon, as St Mirren have been playing Gary Teale in an advanced centre midfield role. It worked really well, as it allowed him to play in that unmarkable free role, which would benefit Hayes; who would often be man-marked on the right.
  4. Twitter concersation between Hayes and Doran: Hayes: you're not on Blackburn wages anymore!! Doran: am I not? ;) Take from that what you will. Could mean he is getting the same wage from us that he was on at Blackburn, could be he is on loan, or he could just be taking the mick. I'd love for it to be a 3 year deal; but can see it being a 2 year with 3 year option.
  5. Doran is joining up with the squad today and hoping to get a bit of game time tonight.

What happened to that East Stirlingshire keeper? I'll likely be at their cup match on the 23rd July, so if he's gone back to them I'll get a wee glimpse of what he's like then...
  7. ..and Jonnyhayes7 comment 10 hrs ago says: "Jus finished 1st 90min in 7months! #shattered can't wait for @aardc91 to do my running for me!" Looks like we might have snapped Doran up on a 3 year permanent deal!? Belter! Maybe we could persuade Blackburn to give us Nick Blackman on loan for the season as well...
  8. They've been alright. Nothing special though. It was the other Steven Thompson (the midfielder who loved scoring against us last season) who scored their second. Gary Teale has been playing a free role as such, drifting from midfield to attack from both sides of the pitch and through the middle. His goal was when he was playing the striker role hanging on the shoulder of the last man, where upon receiving a through ball under no pressure he lifted it casually over the keeper for 1-0. The 2nd goal was a 20yard stonker into the corner of the net by Thompson. Prunty for Dumbarton has been anonymous, but he hasn't had any service to be fair.
  9. I'll be refreshing this page for the next hour and a half whilst I'm watching Dumbarton v St Mirren, so manyany thanks for any updates! Lineups?
  10. As I sit in the Dumbarton FC social club before their match v St Mirren*, I can't help be a tad jealous of the strengthening process the buddies have gone through: Steven Thompson and Gary Teale starting, Nigel Hasselbank on the bench. I'd have been happy to see any of them in an ICT shirt. *my girlfriend has been promoted to Radio Clyde, so our Cardross flat is near enough to Dumbarton fc (6min train) for me to call them my 2nd team...
  11. This suggestion seems to crop up annually... Whilst I agree that it'd be great to see an ICT team, I very much doubt the club would organise a team unfortunately. We never seem to be that quick off the mark with these kind of events. We also get the annual ICT fans v. Legends charity match suggestion, which again is easy to set up and promote... yet the club don't bother with it either. I had a fantastic experience 2 weeks ago captaining Scotland at Hampden, scoring in a 3-1 win for a football aid charity match. Incredibly well run and great to score on the Hampden pitch whilst playing with the likes of Scott Booth and Pat Nevin. County even managed to run a successful charity match from what I remember!? :irritated:

I'm happy enough with this signing. Tade caused us problems in our SFL season and when I saw him playing v. Aberdeen in the cup a season or two ago he tore them apart. Athletic, fast and strong. Hopefully he'll gain a bit of confidence (and footballing ability from what RRFC fans have said on PieandBovril!) early doors...
  13. Tansey - 1 year contract signed Morrison - 2 year contract signed Sutherland - 2 year contract due to be signed soon Source - P&J
  14. I see Duncan is available for tomorrow's game! I thought he'd still be suspended... Team news Let's get a typical Duncan screamer of a goal tomorrow
  15. Maybe Hearts get a points penalty and drop below us?
  16. I've moved onto MFR 2 where there's no sound problems. 2-0 Nick Ross btw
  17. I'm glad they got relegated as they were the worst team in the league by a long way, had very few fans willing to make the trip up to Inverness, were our bogey team and they have Dougie Imrie playing for them That said, I hope our fans aren't too vocal in their gloating of Hamilton's recent SFL status. It was only 2 years ago that we suffered the same fate and it was a hard one to take. Luckily we had the resources to bounce back, but I fear Hamilton will disappear somewhat a la Partick Thistle... Enjoy our day out on Saturday, hopefully celebrate yet another 3 points; but keep the 'GIRFUY Hamilton' stuff minimal IMO.
  18. Fixed that for you. Next time you are in Inverness going to give the Sectarian songs a miss and try not to destroy the seats in the South Stand?
  19. Just home from work, the TV's ready. I fear the worst
  20. Foran is suspended for this game and the Celtic game
  21. Get in!! Great cross and header. This game has been rotten.
