  1. Happy enough with that. Hopefully Rooney comes on for the last 30mins to grab the winner
  2. He was caught speeding in his car last year I seem to remember...
  3. Falkirk will fancy their chances too and will be likely to bring up to 1000 or so fans (from what suggestions i've read on Pie&Bovril)
  4. Is his contract up this summer or next summer?
  5. By my reckoning Arfield and Higdon will miss out for Falkirk through suspension. Now if only Lovell can get an injury before this...
  6. I'd read yesterday that the draw was taking place at 9.30am this morning; so sat here at work refreshing PieandBovril/TABoard/BBC Football every few minutes to see the fixtures. Only found out about 10am that the draw has changed to 5.15.
  7. Perhaps he'll start in the midfield against Dundee United on Saturday, to replace the suspended Black. Vigurs/McBain being the only other options
  8. Wouldn't mind Falkirk, what with them missing Arfield in the next round. It is destined for a home match v. Celtic or Abdn though, which will be televised live.
  9. I think Black is suspended for this one...
  10. I went to see FC Jurmala play against Pavel's old side in Lavtia last year and was particularly impressed by a left footed Argentinian striker with a mullet. Luxury player who didn't do too much running, but his left foot was a wand! There was a brilliant blond box to box midfielder as well playing for Jurmala. Glad Pavels is doing well
  11. Many thanks for the clarification.
  12. I notice Fernandez is still in the squad for Kilmarnock, despite getting sent off in the previous round. Surely that is a mistake? As if he was suspended for the league game after the Cup, then why was James McArthur (who was sent off for Hamilton v. Ross County the week before our game v. Hamilton) allowed to play against us in the league? Here is the team news: Glad to see Taouil and Invincible could be missing... Invincibile has an ankle knock while Taouil has a back strain, and both could miss the fifth-round tie at the Caledonian Stadium. Allan Johnston and David Lilley are both back in training but Ryan O'Leary is at an earlier stage of his rehabilitation. Kilmarnock (from): Combe, Fowler, Hay, Ford, Wright, Bryson, Gibson, Pascali, Taouil, Skelton, Kyle, Fernandez, Russell, Invincibile, Rascle, Simmonds, Hamill, Murray.
  13. I'm glad they are coming across well to fans and players alike. We shouldn't get carried away though with all this positivity... I still think that it would be a miracle to claw back enough points to survive this season. Falkirk are our main rivals and they aren't a terrible team by any stretch; in addition to St Mirren, Hamilton and Kilmarnock picking up points regularly. I'd loved to be proved wrong obviously!!
  14. Wasn't too impressed with the 4 games i've seen him play for Elgin this season. Poor distribution, not great with crosses (am I describing Mark Brown here!?). I've been very pleased with Esson from the very first pre-season game against St Johnstone. Very assured, vocal at all times and great distribution. Hopefully we're keeping tabs on Joe Malin at County, as every time i've seen him he's performed heroics. Great keeper.
  15. Sheridan signed for Motherwell on loan. Good signing for them considering Porter is offski... Wonder if that means Celtic have a replacement (Fletcher) lined up? As it'd only leave them with McDonalds, Georgie Sadsack, invisible man Hutchinson and the injury prone Vinegar of Castlemilk up front.
  16. Are the phonelines and fax machines down? No there just a 3rd world country. Yet their education system seems to be working better than ours
  17. I'd never thank anyone for giving me Tuberculosis
  18. Couldn't make it up!
  19. You texted Terry Butcher?
  20. At least we'll maybe find out if the Morais and Gatheussi deals are loans or free transfers... if we get Smith on loan.
  21. That's a beautiful album, though everything by Mark Kozelek is worth a listen. Kudos on you having great music taste! Moorestown was probably my favourite track of 2008.

    Dear God...
  23. It absolutely terrifies me!!
  24. Saying on the bbc that Montrose are indeed after him...
  25. Just got a text from a Montrose supporting mate, who says Brewster has joined Montrose as a player. Not sure on type of contract or even if it is completely true! Makes some sort of sense, since he'll know Tweed from their time in Greece and he has a relationship (not that kind!) with Kenny Black from loan deals with the likes of Garry Wood. If true I wonder how his shoulder holds up? I was planning on seeing a Montrose game in the next couple of weeks...
