Im sure swankie used to play for dundee about 4 seasons ago and he was pretty decent then. Not seen much of him recently but he does seem to be one of arbroaths key players. Good enough for spl though I'm not so sure. If he was free id bring back fox, an alright squad player IMO.

they got lucky? They destroyed Celtic 2-0 at hampden and fully deserved the cup final that we still haven't had. I would also say winning the first division is a great achievement, it's certainly harder winning the first division than staying up. Over the past 10 seasons I think Gretna were the only team to go back down. Dunfermline are looking good for the drop this year too but most teams comfortably finish their first season off the bottom.

I'm not convinced Terry is any better than Robbo. Robbo was the guy to take us to the SPL in the first place even if it was with a majority of Pele's players. He's the only manager to give us two Scottish Cup Semi finals and on one occasion giving us a replay against an SPL side. Its hard to decide who's a better manager between the two but there isn't much in it.

If we win our game in hand against St Johnstone away we will be effectively 4 points behind top 6 Dundee Utd. That means theres 6 extra games for us to gain an extra 4 points on them and that is possible. I know the fixtures don't work in that way but it shows the run in a little better. Both teams have to play 3 of the same teams although we have the extra home match on them, If we managed to get a result at Tannadice that could be the difference. We have Rangers at home and so do they We've got Aberdeen away and so do they We have Hibs at home they have hibs away We have killie at home they have dunfermline at home We have St Johnstone at home they have Hearts away The last game to discuss is the game against each other in Dundee.
