  1. Rory now stating he wants to play fulltime football next season even though Peterhead have only offered him a part time deal.
  2. We can't do that because we'd be rubbish. Need to keep it ICT. If St Mirren etc can manage to field a masters team then i don't understand why we can't.
  3. I believe that side would see us relegated. We really need to strengthen up a few areas of that team as you say.
  4. I guess once the club have read tomorrows Courier they'll soon confirm it.
  5. So how much did these bad boys go for? Probably would have bid on them but just bought a signed ICT shirt a few days beforehand.
  6. 9/10 too - got #4 wrong. 9/10 - also got number 4 wrong.
  7. is that for real? lol.... Yes thats the new top for this season
  8. Yeah i'm pretty sure that was around 2000-2001
  9. You'll get more money for it in the long run from ebay. Bidding wars are always fun.
  10. Lets hope that this is just ignorance of Scottish football. Well he'd look like an idiot saying he's signing for Inverness only for him to sign for Killie the next day.
  11. damienthehealey: End of an era for creative midfielders yday, unsung hero and a great striker of the ball. Good luck at kilmarnock greg #tansey about 2 hours ago via Twitter for BlackBerry?? Reply ? View Tweet
  12. Roy McBain on his way to Formartine apparently, I work for the official Highland League website and my boss, a usually reliable source, has told me he's been strongly linked with Formartine. You mean people actually work for that website. I always thought it was unmanned being as it takes three days to get the weekend results up. Mind you, if your boss is so far behind the times then I can see why the results would be. You must be thinking of our official website. Nothing is more out of date than that.
  13. He was beyond garbage for Falkirk with the majority of their fans delighted that he has been released. One to avoid I think. Excellent for Livingston though, about 10 years ago...
  14. In terms of ICT youth players i always thought Tony Low was an excellent right winger whenever he played but he was deemed not good enough by John Robertson. Obviously with Tony's recent level of football that shows to be a good decision but i wonder if he stayed on would he have improved.
  15. Going to Hearts would do nothing for his international career. If he is to leave us then only the old firm or a team in England would really further his reputation.
  16. Off topic so I apologise, but does anyone have "SPL goals per game" figures for Niculae and Rooney? Barrowman - 15 starts, 20 sub appearances (+ 3 sub apps for Kilmarnock), 2 goals Rooney - 70 starts, 30 sub appearances, 44 goals Surely Rooney hasn't been around for 100 SPL league matches with us. Would be interesting to see Dargos and Rooneys ICT SPL record. As for most over rated i wouldn't say Barrowman was over rated at all, he came from a 2nd division side and no one on here thought he was excellent. I always took a shining to Xausa whenever he played but always wondered if he was actually that good. He done well when signing for Livingston but soon dissapeared off the face of the planet. John Robertson certainly over rated Darran Thomson in his time and he has to be our worst ever player. This might come as a shock but i always thought David Bingham was massively over rated. Some games he would play terrible and yet still pick up the MOM awards. I did like Bingham but just thought there was a bit too much hype around him at the time.
  17. Gilks is younger than Esson and has played 17 games in the best league in the world this season. He has to get in there before Esson. Turner has also played 19 league games in the Championship this season. The only thing keeping Esson out these days is there are younger keepers who have great potential and that is what you always look for in a 3rd choice keeper.
  18. You don't know what that means? If you work at a high level for a number of years and come into a similar situation you have experience in the task in hand. In all aspects of life experience is handy, I would much rather have an experienced surgeon operate on me than someone who still needs to learn his trade. Experience is essential in order to teach others and help them progress. A youthful keeper will learn a lot just from being in the presence of Ryan Esson, a keeper who has experience.
  19. I managed to get in with my student card for ?10 earlier in the season and the prices were the exact same then (Under 18s and Over 65s). The guy on the gate seemed to think the discount was for students and for under 16s. I would go along and show your card, chances are you'll get in but if not just come back on here saturday night and have a moan at me.
  20. A bit of a farce for a league but i bet it keeps the season very entertaining. I read it and understood it a a bit, but was unsure about the 2 bottom teams playing each other 5 times. This describes the format much more clearly :
  21. At least we get to relegate Hamilton on the last day of the season now
  22. The Belgian Pro League uses a split system which believe it or not is more confusing than our one. Read this and then honestly awnser if you understand it To be honest it doesn't seem to be that bad. There are 16 teams and they all play each other twice home and away. After those 30 games they split into three groups, the top 6 who again then play each other twice home and away and then the next split is 7th to 14th place also playing twice home and away. The final split is between the team in 15th and 16th place (this is the bottom two teams) They play each other 5 times which i presume is a best of 5 kind of thing similar to the playoff systems they use in America for Basketball etc. Now five times is a bit much against the same opposition but i presume thats so they get the extra remaining games to make it worth while. It would also guarentee that the worst team went down. Am i right in thinking that once the split has been made everyones points goes back to 0?
  23. If hes going to sign of course he will only sign for 1 year, this is a good idea IMO. The chances of him signing at all are quite slim and the one year option gives him another year to improve his footballing skills before moving on to bigger things.
  24. I wonder how the team will play knowing 7 players from the squad won't be there next season. I was confident for this game as players were playing for their contracts, now i'm not too sure.
  25. Ive got to agree that the 4-3 Livi match is still one of my favourite matches. Around that time i loved all the distance derbies we had with them and i'm looking forward to the friendly this summer.
