Fair enough Tug, green dot right back at you dougal

Ref for Hearts
You are starting to sound like a Septic fan Alex I'm certainly no fan of said referee but its wrong of you to say he has some sort of anti-ICT agenda dougal

Green/Red dot Reputation System
I haven't done a Poll for absolutely ages so here goes Not sure what forum this should be in so mods feel free to move it if you want but it effects all ICT fans on here IMO Whats everyone's thoughts on this reputation voting system on this site? IMO it seems to have been shamelessly stolen from Pie & Bovril but I stand corrected if i'm wrong What I want to know is what exactly is the point of the whole thing? As far as I can see certain users(me included) get targeted by the red dot brigade, while certain other users and their amigo's just green dot each other no matter what they post Surely it would be better for each individual poster to see who is dishing out the green or red dots, that way there is no secrecy and underhand voting I've voted option 3, keep it going but change it so it lets us see who is green or red dotting each post The mods certainly seem to be able to see who dishes out the green and red dots so why can't we???? Thoughts dougal

NEW INVESTMENT IN ICTFC
I very rarely agree with anything you have to say but you are spot on here Green dot for you 12th Man The longman site is the worst possible site to have a football stadium, I just can't understand how ICT got away with it due to its close proximity to the A9 and the crazy congestion it causes on match days dougal

JTs Roll Call
Bit of advice sotonict I wouldn't put your mobile number up on here, ask folk to pm you that way you hopefully won't get targeted by weirdo's I'd steer clear of IHE if I was you as there is always a danger you'll either not get into the ground or get ejected not long after the game starts Get a ticket for the main stand as there are a lot more knowledgeable football fans in there like myself dougal

Against All Odds- Online edition
Don't see whats remotely positive?? All you Bannerman,CaleyD and that strange finger fella have achieved is to stir/wind up some of the pre-merger fans and open up some of the wounds that were healing quite nicely till this publication was put on line I tip my hat off to you if this was a fishing trip though as you've certainly had a few bites I've ran out of red dots but you'll be getting one tomorrow when I log back on dougal

ICT LEGENDS v THE CURRY HOOSE
Since when did Stevie Tosh or Robbie Williamson become ICT legends????? seems a bit of false advertising went on I attended Grant Street and thoroughly enjoyed the football despite Clach getting turned over 1-4 by a very good Turriff Utd side I wish Clach all the best for the remainder of the season, some very good young players in their team and I will definitely make the effort to see them more this season dougal

Caley away kit
I agree the black sleeves look ridiculous It would have looked slightly better without the black but its too like an Orc away strip for me dougal

Against All Odds- Online edition
In my opinion "Against all odds" always seemed a strange title to me, more fitting would have been "Pro-merger Propaganda" Again IMO a very one sided view of the merger written by a self-confessed pro-merger author, wouldn't it have been great had the Caley and Thistle fanzine guys got together to give their sides of the story, at least then we could have both sides to mull over??? Anyway I'm off to download the new chapter lets hope theres not too many spelling mistakes dougal

ICT LEGENDS v THE CURRY HOOSE
A bit of an own goal by ICT hosting this match on Friday night as its a kick in the teeth to Clachnacuddin who are playing Turriff Utd at the very same time We all know Clachs situation regarding money and there struggle to get punters through the turnstiles therefore this fixture should have been moved to a more suitable date They may well be legends but I won't be there as I will be going to Grant Street dougal

ICT -V- Kilmarnock : Matchday Thread
Just back in from the pub No negativity from me tonight, I thoroughly enjoyed the game today, entertainment was served up by both teams, I thought it was a very open game and we deserved the three points I've been one of Tade's critics but i'm genuinely delighted he got his first goal despite a couple of typical Tade comedy moments, hopefully the lad's confidence will now grow seeing he's hit the back of the net Not read any of this thread so has anyone heard how Foran is and what extent the injury is? dougal

Last nights debacle
I decided last night not to log in as I feared being banned due to the rage I was in I'm still seething but feel I can now get my point over without using to many expletives Was last nights result the worst result in the clubs history it must be up there in the top two or three if not? Let's not kid ourselves we were beaten by one of the poorer first division 1 sides who are all part timers if I'm not mistaken, guys who probably are posties, plumbers, bakers , traffic wardens, kfc employees and so on Whether Butcher has lost the dressing room I certainly am not going to speculate but there is something seriously wrong with either team morale or the tactics being deployed The league table doesn't lie and only highlights the crisis we now find ourselves in Worst result in 17 years ? Yes I sadly think it probably is dougal

Danny Wilson Liverpool
A very lame attempt at fishing Alex Having said that you lot weren't called fools from up the hill for nothing dougal

Financial state of club?
I agree this would have been a far more accurate headline but lets face it journalists are good at twisting headlines From what I hear you weren't too bad at it yourself specifically at the time of the merger dougal

Match day tickets for concessions
Maybe, but ?12 to sit in the Family Section, an area designed and priced for Children/Families (the clue is in the name), is pretty decent. It's a bit like complaining that First Class cost so much more when you have the option of a cheaper seat in Standard Class which, at the end of the day, serves the same purpose of getting you from point A to point B. Sweep it under the carpet as much as you want but the problem of ripping off the young fans won't suddenly go away ICT should be charging youngsters ?12 no matter where they sit in the ground and I include the south stand too for away supporters Encourage the youngsters not turn them away by inflated ticket prices dougal

Youth teams
Indeed I agree a simple short letter would have been a nice token and would have been if anything good PR by the club Maybe this and the reducing of costs for match day concession tickets(see other thread) should be now looked or at the very least reviewed Anyway highlighting these subjects on here can't do any harm maybe the supporters trust or whatever they call themselves these days can put them to the club at their next meeting dougal

Match day tickets for concessions
I've been reading Pie & Bovril tonight and the Orcs are livid about the cost of concession tickets for the game on Saturday I've got to admit they do appear hugely excessive, surely the club should be reducing the costs of concession tickets as these are the fans of the future ?25 for a child to sit in the main stand is an absolute disgrace in my book http://ictfc.com/tickets/ticket-prices discuss dougal

Mascot
I think having a mascot is really good for the younger fans especially at a small family friendly club like ourselves You need someone who acts and behaves like a clown and absolutely everyone laughs at rather than laughs with I'd say Chorley would be a good starting recruiting base dougal
-
Gregory Tade
FYI I have watched football over many years throughout the UK mostly England I admit but also a fair number of countries in Europe so I know when I see a dud or a player thats not up to it I'm therefor as qualified to comment on Tade as any yokel I admit its early days yet for Tade and I genuinely do hope he makes a name for himself up here in the Highlands but my initial thoughts on footballers are normally fairly accurate however I'll be the first to put my hand up and apologise if he proves me wrong Good luck Gregory dougal

Team fer Huns
Oh dear!!!! As far as I can make out both the above terms have been banned from Pie & Bovril so why not here? Lets hope Alex Salmond and his government eradicate this so called culture problems in the future and make Scotland a more pleasant land to live in dougal

Another first - Player in the Welsh squad
Good news and the best of luck to him Maybe we should learn the words to the land of my fathers I reckon it would be a great song for ICT to walk out to at the Caledonian stadium, not sure the invernessian accent could master the welsh dialect though http://www.youtube.c...feature=related I wonder if Owain is any relation of Mr Jones http://www.youtube.c...h?v=fDWk0BCeblQ dougal

Gregory Tade
If I was Terry i'd fine him a weeks wages for his part in the disallowed goal debcale, he single handedly lost the club two points yesterday :irritated: I thought the club had learnt their lesson by signing lower league strikers(Barrowman) but it appears sadly not dougal
-
The Long Ball
I think its worth pointing out that one Terrence Butcher made a very successful playing career out of hoofing the ball up the park with that trusted left foot of his so you can maybe see why our defenders deploy such tactics from time to time dougal
-
Gregory Tade
No I was off shore last week renegade so never saw the game, take it you rate him then? dougal
-
Gregory Tade
I wasn't at the game yesterday but saw the game on the garlic channel From what I saw I now have real concerns about this signing Is this guy a striker? It's not clear by yesterdays performance where or what position he was supposed to be deployed as!! You only have to read the views on pie and bovril from other clubs supporters to suss out that this guy isn't an Spl standard player Discuss dougal
