I do have some sympathy for officials as it's no doubt a difficult job and they are only human. However they choose to take up that responsibility and are VERY well paid for it (they got a pay raise this season did they not? Not many in the country can say that) they should be able to do their job to a high standard consistently. I think most people's frustrations also stem from the inability of referees to be allowed to explain certain decisions and also there seems to be no consequences for bad performances or decisions that can change the shape of a game. In addition they seem to be above any kind of critique from clubs who in some (not all) cases have good reason to do so. Case in point- linesman just this minute incorrectly flagged Celtic offside stopping them going up 2-1. What if County pip us to Europe due to that incorrect decision? Their mistakes can have far-reaching repercussions and they should be held accountable for that imo. Gollum's performance yesterday was pitiful (as was the pathetic main stand linesman) and deserved any pelters he gets. Though I absolutely agree players swan diving and rolling about greeting like they've been shot etc are a joke too.
  3. Clach legends type game tomorrow to raise funds for the new wineshed. 2.30 ko.
  4. Rather surprised that we would be going for someone who would cost us tbh.
  5. Ms Smith sounds like an utter dull boot... Why are are football fans less important than church goers? Sounds like pishedfitbafanaphobia to me.

  9. Keeps it a safe distance from the gas pipe, though there could be aquifier issues there too.
  10. One stand was also closed at Rugby Park when we were there in the cup.
  11. So, as I said a vanity project...
  12. More so than building a forth stand?
  13. Mmmm, so we should spend money that we don't have to build a stand that we don't need as some kind of vanity project? Why not just go the whole hog and get a retractable roof built too, if you can find the funds we could call it the 'Dougal Dome'.
  14. Up to 300 of us I'd guess.
  15. Well that was pretty pish. At least the bar will be open back at TCS.
  16. Feck it, why not eh? Unless I sleep in.
  17. Just because they wave union flags, does not make them bigots, if you don't like the flag of this country go and live somewhere else, I would suggest you are the bigot. Today at Parkhead we were entertained by a number of choruses of Paddy McCourt's Fenian army, because we live in a country where people fought and died, under the flag that you consider bigoted, they are entitled to do that. Did I miss your post condemning the waving of the Irish flag and starry plough after the last time Celtic visited Inverness?. ..... Guess you weren't too disappointed in todays result! The SPL hasn't been a breath of fresh air this season, ICT have had a magnificent season, but we all knew that Dundee were up against it and would get relegated and Celtic would win it. I would suggest the only fresh air is between your ears!
  18. You are not a bigot because you wave the Union Flag. Millions of Brits died for that flag over two world wars including many Scots. Have some respect. Not how i read that Laurence, Kingmills said they were bigots who waved Union flags, not they were bigots BECAUSE they waved Union flags. Exactly how I read it too Dee. Chill oot Laurence. Edit - for clarity.
  19. It'll be pay at the gate fella!
