  1. Probably the same kind of folk who have a meltdown when a visitor uses their mug at the office or sits in 'their' seat in the staff room. Funnily enough as a North Stand ST holder I sat in the Main Stand for a change at that game, had a couple of right roasters next to me (you know who you are lol) :P
  2. Disagree Fraz. I think its a perfect size. I dont believe ER will be so full this time as it was last. Many Hearts fans are miffed that Hibs are going to make a big wad from two semi's and the Ramsdens cup final. Personally I wouldn't mind it in Perth (10k) for obvious reasons, I'd also be happy with Tannadice (14k), but I'd seriously doubt that the suits would accept a definite loss of six thousand over the loss of a possible thousand or two. So realistically it will be deemed too small, I'd be amazed if McDiarmid was even really considered to be honest. Having it at Easter Road again is BS imo, but hey ho I'm sure that's what we'll get as that will be what's best for the beaks and the sponsors I guess.
  3. Distance wise, Aberdeen makes sense, but folk don't seem keen on Pittodrie. McDiarmid Park is too small and that only really leaves Tannadice which has a lower capacity than our semi final attendance last season. Ergo Easter Road is the next option. Personally I don't like it as it's utterly un-neutral. However I suppose there are financial realities to deal with (not to mention a wee bit of the good old central belt bias) so I seriously don't think it would be unreasonable for the SPFL to use some of the extra income generated by playing it in Edinburgh by at least helping to subsidise the transport for fans down to the game.
  4. Looks like some folk were being propa nawty... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-24772420
  5. Clach park for a neutral venue.
  6. Scottish football authorities, not well known for their logical approach.
  7. I don't think there's any chance that anyone will be charged again. I think there might be something on the County site saying that tickets will be valid and folk will get a refund if they so wish. If any club tried to charge again for a game I was at, there's not a chance I'd go back and pay twice.

BT showing it free for everyone from 6pm tonight.
  9. Check the County website but I'm fairly certain that it said you could buy away tickets on the night at their ticket office.
  10. I'm just glad that nobody was offended by any flags today. That's the most important thing.
  11. I've got heaps of English relatives so I harbour them no ill will but...
  12. Not sure what you mean by it only gives details of home games, it's only away games for the buses that CJT run that I put up, not public transport for the reason that it's changeable and quite frankly I don't wan't to get moaned at for putting up wrong train times etc. But to answer your question yes you need to book by calling/texting 07951 309 504. 6.30pm from Strothers Lane, 6.45pm from the stadium. £5 return. All this info is in the other thread.
  13. Aye take a look in the travel info thread.
  14. Great servant and an nice down to earth lad who's not afraid to share out the drams when need be. All the best to him and his (soon to be larger) family for the future.
  15. Sorry for the lateness of updating the awayday thread. There is a bus running from Strothers Lane / Stadium to the County game for a fiver return. Booking through the normal number.
  16. Apparently he was so upset about the flag he had to get to his mum as quickly as possible for a cuddle.

Thank feck I had time for a few there beforehand!
  18. I found this game to be most displeasing.

I'd rather watch women's football than Tam Cowan. Met him a couple of times when I lived in Glasgow. Roaster.
  20. You got a "singing section" ? Standing was never a government or legal issue in Scotland. The SPL banned it of their own back. Now they've said clubs can use a specific type of safe standing 'seat' but at around 4x the price if a normal seat what club outwith Celtic could afford something that is effectively a luxury?
  21. I'd be all for another merger.
  22. They are sweet! Am I imagining it (quite possible) or did we have similar nets in the past at some point? Edit- Spellin'
