  1. Just because they wave union flags, does not make them bigots, if you don't like the flag of this country go and live somewhere else, I would suggest you are the bigot. Today at Parkhead we were entertained by a number of choruses of Paddy McCourt's Fenian army, because we live in a country where people fought and died, under the flag that you consider bigoted, they are entitled to do that. Did I miss your post condemning the waving of the Irish flag and starry plough after the last time Celtic visited Inverness?. ..... Guess you weren't too disappointed in todays result! The SPL hasn't been a breath of fresh air this season, ICT have had a magnificent season, but we all knew that Dundee were up against it and would get relegated and Celtic would win it. I would suggest the only fresh air is between your ears!
  2. Personally I don't think Brewster will have a huge influence. ETA- everything else makes perfect sense tho ;)

  4. You are not a bigot because you wave the Union Flag. Millions of Brits died for that flag over two world wars including many Scots. Have some respect. Not how i read that Laurence, Kingmills said they were bigots who waved Union flags, not they were bigots BECAUSE they waved Union flags. Exactly how I read it too Dee. Chill oot Laurence. Edit - for clarity.
  5. It'll be pay at the gate fella!
  6. Good effort young fella! Congrats!
  7. How early are you looking for? ETA- West at Glasgow green is decent but opens at 11 and is prob 20 mins walk. I'll ask my old boss from when I worked in the East End she might know some places.

  9. I'd be up for playing in this if it wasn't for the fact I'm injured. And unfit, overweight. Oh and sh*t at football.

  13. Of course everyone would like cheaper tickets. I'm pretty sure you could PAG for £21 for the St J game. My tickets work out at under £16 a game based on my north stand season ticket, I don't think that's too bad particularly considering the season we've had, it's not like we get a reduction for being bottom six as it is and nobody seems to have an issue with that. It just irks me after last years Rangers debacle that so many wanted the club to 'do the right thing' and it would seem that a good number didn't put their money where their mouth was. Now we have this again with people threatening to chuck their STs (after such an awesome season, the players must despair!) but everyone is of course entitled to their stance. Just wondering also if people would like a reduction for ending in the middle eight would they conversely be happy to pay a supplement for ending up in the top eight? I doubt it! As for the beers I'd like to see some Staropramen on tap! That's a ridiculous comparison. Except it's not a comparison, it's a bit of the old reductio ad absurdum. Therefore it was meant to be a bit absurd. I would have thought that was pretty obvious. Anyway if it was a comparison it would have read 'that's like' or 'that's the same as' not 'what's next' HTH
  14. I don't get this 'I'm not renewing my season ticket' thing what's next? I disagree with the choice of beers available in the bar - 'I'm not renewing my season ticket!' Honestly talk about toys out of the pram. I'm not a huge fan of the new league set up, but I'm willing to give it a fair shake in particular as it means better distribution of money, one body for the leagues and a fair voting structure meaning that if in a few seasons if people aren't happy it can be changed much more easily. In the real world sometimes you don't get everything you want all the time, you have to compromise in order to make things work. As for not knowing who we are playing for part of the season well I go to ICT games to watch ICT not the other team. Besides I'd like a bit of variety regardless.
  15. I wouldn't want a minutes silence for her but I wouldn't disrupt it if there was one, prob just go onto Facebook on my phone to post something profound. Whatever my views of her premiership and legacy (which I can't be bothered going into) I am mighty seething at this funeral malarky. £8-10 million! MPs getting thousands in expenses to attend? I find it unbelieveable that in a time where we keep getting told that there is no more money, we need to tighten out belts, we're all in this together, you can live on £53 a week and so on we can whip out the millions no bother when it suits. (see also Olympic ceremony / Queen's payrise / Royal wedding etc). We have millionairres using public money to pay for another millionairre's funeral! Outragous. If the family want something more lavish fair enough, but they pay for it, they can well afford it. I know a few people who have passed away in the past couple of years and in a couple of cases the widow and/or kids had to scrape together to find the money for a half decent service and cremation followed by a wee buffet with tea and coffee. Don't recall hearing about anyone else in government offering to help out. However it always seem that the more money you have the less you have to pay for (inc taxes). Surely Maggie will be spinning in her grave hearing that the 'society' that she didn't believe in is paying for her funeral. If she is to be honoured correctly surely the funeral should be tendered out to the lowest bidder in the private sector and tickets sold off for people to attend, that to my mind sounds like something she would agree with. Seething. Edit - spelling
  16. Been a long time since I've been there but might make a weekend of it with the family and crash at my sister's. Is the £20 proper view, also will they have pay at the gate? I'm guessing probably not. Hate giving my money to Celtic though.
  17. Some people must be under the impression that there is a perfect alternative re-structure just waiting in the wings that the clubs can get behind, there isn't. It's what's on the table or the status quo. If the re-structure goes ahead it does however make it far easier for changes to league sizes/setups to be made down the line. That's the way it is sometimes, you've got to watch the crappy rom-com with the missus tonight so that you can go to the pub next weekend.
  18. Indeed the words cutting, nose, spite and face come to mind.

  23. Ross County mates? Seriously though, sweet video. County fans must be perplexed by that strange green stuff all over the pitch.
  24. Good effort lads, I hope when the stewards came up to speak to you they were complementing your singing.

Millburn smells of poo. The IRA is by far a superior educational establishment.
