  1. Farce of a price.
  2. What / where is it? Bit more info would be helpful.
  3. I said the same on P&B and apparently yes it is common at Fir Park. My feeling is though that the police up here would have a big hairy fit if that was suggested to them. Perhaps this upcoming single force might actually help us with things like this, dunno.
  4. Racialist vendor imo.
  5. dodgers
  6. Tell him to spend it on some new tyres for his house...
  7. After that feckin game my view is this... and thank god for it.
  8. I must be a fecking jinx on away days cos we've not won yet when I've traveled. We didn't look too bad for the first 30 mins but after their goal went in and then in the 2nd half especially it was poor. We did seem pretty jaded- not closing them down quickly, slack passes, punts up to Billy etc. I personally don't think that tiredness should be an excuse for professional athletes but that's how it looked, can't say if it's mental or physical. In the second half we also seemed to lose our shape and cohesion as a team too and indeed there was some shifting around of personnel that was a bit strange. I also feel that's where we are missing Foran who is quite a strong presence on the park. Subs had no impact and like others I'd like to see Pepper have a shot (I can only assume he stole TB's wine or something), though I think we're probably building him up as some kind of saviour lol On the upshot it was good to speak to Capital Caley, IHE, CaleyD and Old Caley Girl (among others) and put some faces to the (user) names! Dare I go to Tynecastle? Time for some medicinal
  9. Fir Park Social Club is right beside the ground. Sweet.
  10. Heading down with the father in-law. ETA - is there a pub at the ground?
  11. That's a great deal, I think the problem we have perhaps is a lack of promotion of the deals rather lack of actual deals. People probably just assume it's expensive or see the PAG prices and think nah too dear.
  12. Maybe CJT could organise another boxing fund raising evening: TB v random insulting fan, people could apply by turning up, standing (sorry sitting) at the side of the ring giving the gaffer verbal he could then invite people one by one to step up. Dougal can hold the 'round number' cards up between rounds. I'd pay to watch that.
  13. OK, I take people's point about it being relatively expensive to to pay at the gate if you were taking a couple of kids. However my fag packet sums tell me that for the North stand an adult (£300) & 2 kids (U12 x 2= £160) if they were to get season tickets it would work out at about £24 (to pay at the gate it would be £41) for all three to attend each game based on 19 games. For an adult and 2 over 16s it's £32, pay at the gate £53! That's some difference. You could save over £300 at least. I honestly don't think that the ST prices are that terrible when you work it out. There may be even further family section deals. Of course there's extras like food, programme but that's no different than if you went to the cinema / rollerbowl etc or you could just be stingy.
  14. Been reading those comments and I think the checklist is complete- Merger (now I support Man U/Man City/Chelsea/Sevco/Celtic/RC etc) - check Weather's crap - check Location of stadium is crap - check Scottish football is rubbish - check Sevco / Celtic gloryhunters everywhere - check RC are such a fantastic club so everyone wants to go there now as they have a sand pit for the kids, free foot massage from Roy etc, (this is a relativly new one though) - check Far too expensive - check Have I missed anything?
  15. At the end of the day poor sub choices or no we should have had that game sewn up before that was even an issue. Knew it was going to end in tears when the pie van ran out of hot water so I couldn't get my HT coffee.
  16. I think it's obvious that he has left to oversee the final stages of the Death Star...
  17. My apologies if I misunderstood.
  18. I know that was said in jest, but it highlights the ignorance that exists in regards to the whole "ism" thing (not necessarily on your part, just using this as an example). It is possible to dislike something without being intolerant of it. I don't have a particular liking for any religion, but that doesn't mean I don't respect or tolerate the beliefs and or actions of those who do. The last I checked, it wasn't illegal to walk down the street with a placard that says "I hate religion".....and until you cross the line into something like "I hate religion and all religious people should be shot"....i.e. intolerance....then you have nothing to fear from the law. Songs/Chants such as those being discussed above may be in bad taste, and I would agree with that, but that doesn't make them a crime. It's pretty much the same as some of the shouts that were coming from the other end. Butcher was getting called for all sorts and the Gazza stuff was pretty rough....again, bad taste and not welcome (IMO), but not criminal. Best thing to do with these things is to totally ignore them and not give them any "air time", because the majority of people partaking in it are only doing so to either big themselves up to their peers and/or to get a bit of attention. Take that away and they have no reason to do it and will soon get bored. I don't disagree with your general point about 'isms' e.g. there's nothing wrong with disliking someone who happens to be black for instance but there is with disliking him because he's black, there is a very obvious difference. Really not clear on how my post is ignorant, yet not necessarily on my part though, you've lost me there.
  19. Dram
  20. That's why he's resigning imo, he's deeply upset about some ICT fans not liking him.
  21. And some of those reserves command more in wages in a week than our entire first team does combined for the same period. I make more in a week than any ICT player , doesn't make me an SPL footballer though ! Not an SPL footballer, paid more than any ICT player, are you Ian Black?
