  1. What a difference a week makes. A failing management team and a bunch of underperforming players out in a series of half hearted and pretty shambolic performances, then all of a sudden we step up a few gears and get a good away point and a great home win - the kind of turnaround that you normally only expect to get when there has been a change of manager, like when Butcher came in. There are probably numerous factors behind the improvement, but what do you see as the main reason(s)?
  2. We won! I'd forgotten just how good it feels!

    Test Poll

Submitted vote then poll just disappeared.
  4. Still, he walked away as winner of The Great British Pay Off 2016!
  5. IBM's one is floppy.
  6. Now that Sutton Utd are out of the FA Cup, I wonder if one of our local bakers could put together a package to lure their sub keeper for us?
  7. Did anyone spot this interview with Hughes a couple of weeks ago? http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/former-inverness-boss-john-hughes-9789274 "Hughes spent two-and-a-half years as Caley Thistle boss before surprisingly quitting in May 2016. But he loved every minute of his time up north and insisted there was no fall-out with Inverness chairman Kenny Cameron over budgets. Yogi said: “I was quite happy and had just signed a two-year deal but a few clubs were sniffing about including Dundee United. “I was content and happy but wanted to move it on in terms of players leaving and new ones coming in. I didn’t fall out with them. Everybody said it was budgets but it wasn’t. I wanted to keep competing, getting into the top six and reaching cup finals. There is a great saying, ‘If you want me to make the dinner I buy the groceries’. I have spoken to the chairman since then and wished him all the best.”
  8. Best day we've had for months, taking into account our own result away to a good side and the favourable way results elsewhere turned out.
  9. If our defenders play as if they've only just met, then at least this time they'll have a valid excuse!
  10. What Foran says or doesn't say to the press doesn't really matter, it's now all about doing our talking on the pitch.
  11. Well, we definitely need a defender, but ideally it would have been a better defender than Laing (not good enough for the only team with a worse defensive record than us!) There can't have been many other realistic options, though, and he's now got an opportunity to impress - which is a pretty realistic prospect given the absence of solid defenders this season.
  12. Kick off 5 minutes from now, apparently - prepare for the Valentines Day massacre! Looks like someone somehow managed to erase the last 70 minutes of the game from their mind and thought it ended 0-0. PS I see this is my 10,000th post on this site. Talk about misspent youth!
  13. You know you're having a bad season when a 6-0 hammering isn't considered to be in the top 4 of worst results, not even getting a single vote!
  14. ***Warning - not suitable for happy clappers*** This season has been jam packed with low points. Which of these do you think was the worst?
  15. Looks like he might actually have been concealing a small weapon yesterday. Must really enjoy scoring goals!
  16. Celtic are indeed streets ahead of everyone else, but not nearly as much as 6 streets ahead.
  17. Whilst it was our defence that was flapping!
  18. Watching a replay of the build up to the injury time 6th goal I'm thinking "There's some pigeons on the pitch, they think it's all over......!"
  19. It's truly baffling how such a good keeper could become such a dodgy keeper in such a short time. Still capable of great saves but so unreliable at the basic stuff.
  20. Before the match I considered placing a bet on either 5-0 or 6-0, but couldn't quite bring myself to do it. The fact that we are up against the best team in the land shouldn't distract from the fact that we remain a complete shambles under Foran.
  21. 2-0, yet another mistake from OFW.
  22. Gulf in class very evident.
  23. The gift that keeps on giving!
  24. We tried with Adam Straith, and when that fell through we brought in the loanee.
  25. Well according to the bookies it is just as (un)likely as it was back then, at 14/1.
