Not sure I quite subscribe to the logic in that statement. The onus is on us to gain ground on these other sides, and as every every match goes by without us narrowing the gap, the likelihood of relegation increases. Saturday might have been an improved performance but is was ultimately another poor result.

The 2nd half comeback leaves us with a bit of a feel good factor, but games are played over 90 minutes and on the whole that result just wasn't good enough. 13 without a win and still rooted to the bottom, with much harder fixtures coming up.

Great stuff to come back to 2-2, and it's great to finally see such a spirited performance from ICT. But do we keep going all out for the win or take a draw? Got to keep attacking, surely.

News on our former assistant Russell Latapy. Trinidad & Tobago got a new manager in December and in early January he appointed Latapy as one of his Assistant Coaches. They lost 2 games in a week and the manager resigned. Latapy was shortlisted and interviewed for the post, but didn't get it.

Best solution for all would be for another club to come in and offer us compensation for Foran to become their manager, and for him to accept their advances provided he can take Rice with him.

ICT's first 20 years were an almost continuous upward trajectory under a number of very successful managers, so it's rather curious to see that none of them are currently managers, at any decent level anyway. The only one working as a manager is the legendary Steve Paterson at junior side Dufftown. (He most recently made the news for posting drunken messages on Whats App saying he was going to blow up the houses of fans who criticised him.) Brewster is doing ok as Assistant at Plymouth, but has to work under Derek Adams. Baltacha does youth coaching for Charlton, whilst Christie does youth development and lottery work for ICT. As far as I can see John Robertson isn't doing anything in football, and strangest of all, our most successful and high profile managers, Butcher and Hughes, are both long term unemployed as managers.

Lots of mentions of Foran having a 4 year contract, but there will almost certainly be performance criteria and termination clauses that will make his payoff less costly than paying up the full remainder of his contract.

Foran clearly cannot get the best out of these players, so we either have to replace the players or replace the manager.

The post-match interview is telling. Putting aside whether it is the fault of players or management, given in our predicament and the importance of the game, if players are hiding and bottling it, it's all over.
