  1. John Hughes has led Raith Rovers to relegation. Incredible to compare where we all were a year or two ago with what has happened to us and him since.
  2. Looking forward as usual to Foran's post match comments. Wouldn't it be a shame if the team bus accidentally set off without him while he's doing his interviews.....
  3. Terrible day for us, with that defeat and 'Well winning.
  4. In recent weeks when we concede the first goal we then go on to capitulate, ending up with 3 or 4 against us. Need to maintain shape and work rate, and to not give up until it really is too late.

I'm really liking the away kit, a welcome change from the plain efforts of recent years.
  6. Daily Record says 3 of his 400 or so bets were on us to lose.
  7. N172, was put on the club Facebook page on Saturday.
  8. Elsewhere today, John Hughes led Raith into the playoffs......!
  9. What makes you think it was that and not a managerial masterstroke?
  10. Even a corpse can twitch!
  11. Steady! Last time we got a win we all thought we'd turned the corner, and look how long we had to wait for the next one.
  12. Hooray, a win! First one on a Saturday for almost 7 months.
  13. Clear pen, terrible decision. The bit of luck that we've been needing.
  14. Yes, I remember that game only because I set off to go to it but got caught in a snowstorm and decided to turn back.
  15. That's not going to help anyone.
  16. If, as many people suggest, Foran is on a rolling 12 month contract, perhaps we could serve notice now so that when our poor league position in the Championship leads to him getting sacked in the autumn, there's only a few months compensation left to be paid.
  17. FFS! I hope I wake up and find this season was just a nightmare.
  18. When you go (down) will you send back A letter from Alloa Take a look up the railtrack From Dumbarton to Cappielow Sportscene no more Dingwall no more Full time no more Foran no more.....
  19. At least next season we'll get more Saturday 3pm games.
  20. The more pertinent question is who could have done worse. He was given a big increase in funds in January but didn't improve the team's performances and results, quite the opposite, in fact.
  21. Hayes and Armstrong are 2 of the 4 candidates for Scottish PFA POTY.
  22. Got a brief glimpse of our future on Saturday, watching Dundee Utd on Alba with Gaelic commentary and action replays just as they were in the 1970s, as the side relegated from the Premiership struggled to scrape a draw at home to Dumbarton.
  23. I wouldn't be surprised if it was all of them - if we were sensible and stipulated that the player's wage will be cut substantially in the event of relegation, you would expect that to be reciprocated with a clause allowing the player the choice of whether to stay on that lower wage or move on. It's hard to imagine any agent agreeing to a contract that compells his player to do the same job for less money without at least the option to take a better offer elsewhere.
  24. He has indeed been a terrible signing, and he won't be cheap either. McKay has turned out to be a huge waste of money too, not because of any lack of ability or effort, but because the way Foran has us playing makes little use of his attributes. Interesting that this pair of international strikers are being relegated from this league 2 seasons in a row. I look forward to County panic-signing them next January.
  25. bdu98196, one potential flaw with your analysis is that it is quite likely that some of our contracted players have clauses enabling them to walk away for free in the event of relegation. Another is that we probably won't be in a position to turn down 5 figure sum bids for any of our players. Basically none of our best players are going to be here next season.
