January Transfer Window
Foran said recently that no players would be allowed to leave before new players were brought in, implying very much that there would be departures this window. Who does he have in mind - players that other clubs are wanting and will pay a fee for, or fringe players that we want off the payroll and who want first team football (e.g. Boden)?

There's your answer!

January Transfer Window
I don't think he's a good enough player to single handedly transform our fortunes, but I do think that if he'd been with us since the summer we'd have a few more points than we currently have.

January Transfer Window
Hope not, it's absolutely Baltic over there.

January Transfer Window
Not sure what to make of this one. Burst onto the Scottish scene with a great loan spell at Motherwell in 2013 but this international journeyman hasn't scored many goals since then and helped Utd to relegation last season. Glad we've signed an experienced striker but I'd have preferred the pace and running of Miles Storey.

We've signed Henri Anier.

It's neither true nor a wind up. That guy's tweets are all in respect of him managing Celtic in Football Manager!

Ex-ICT players' news
Maybe someone got it mixed up with his total minutes of game time! Oh, and check out his full name......!

HELLGIN AWAY
Also, remember the cup games in 2016 against lower league sides where we fully expected to win: 0-0 at Stirling and a 1-0 defeat at Alloa. Couldn't even trouble their keepers, and we are much worse now. We need to hope that this winter break does us good.

Ex-ICT players' news
John Rankin left Falkirk the other day and signed for QotS.

Saturday night.....
How nice it is to be able to enjoy a Saturday evening without being in an ICT-induced shitty mood because of our latest poor result/performance - you have to go back as far as September to find a Saturday victory for us. The family are enjoying this return of the ungrumpy me and are already fans of this winter shutdown!

For that to happen would require our "points per game" to increase by a whopping 63% from 0.76 to 1.24. It's not impossible, but bear in mind that our current form has us earning just 0.3 points per game, so an absolutely massive turnaround would be required, of the type that usually only happens when the manager is replaced.....

January Transfer Window
Whilst we desperately need a goalscorer, would Storey be the answer? He's barely kicked a ball since August, and in his last 25 games for us scored 6 times, a strike rate worse than Doumbouya.

January Transfer Window
Whilst the return of Storey would seem a logical move for all parties concerned, the article itself is a classic example of a journalist having no substance whatsoever to accompany the headline, not even so much as a " sources close to the club say...."

January Transfer Window
Don't worry, this Ebbe thing is all just a clever hoax by the ICT media team. Obviously there's no way a player who didn't make the grade in the LOI and slid down to amateur level over there would suddenly earn a move to our top flight. Just how desperate do you think we are?!

Scott Boden
It was mentioned in the South Wales Argus a few days ago that Newport were rumoured to have Boden on their radar for a return. No quotes or anything, just newspaper speculation.
