  1. Why are you assuming that we won't bring in another defender?!! We offered Devine a contract so clearly the need has been identified and there must be money in the budget for one - perhaps even a better one!
  2. Based on something I saw on Facebook, if you can't decide on the issues and confusing information, perhaps give some thought to who you trust most. Here are a few that strongly believe the UK should remain a member of the EU: • Governor of the Bank of England • International Monetary Fund • Institute for Fiscal Studies • Confederation of British Industry • Leaders/heads of state of every single other member of the EU • President of the United States of America • Eight former US Treasury Secretaries • President of China • Prime Minister of India • Prime Minister of Canada • Prime Minister of Australia • Prime Minister of Japan • Prime Minister of New Zealand • The chief executives of most of the top 100 companies in the UK including Marks and Spencer, BT, Asda, Vodafone, Virgin, IBM, BMW etc. • Kofi Annan, the former Secretary General of the United Nations • All living former Prime Ministers of the UK (from both parties) • Virtually all reputable and recognised economists • The Prime Minister of the UK • The leader of the Labour Party • The Leader of the Liberal Democrats • The Leader of the Green Party • The Leader of the Scottish National Party • The leader of Plaid Cymru • Leader of Sinn Fein • Martin Lewis, that money saving dude off the telly • The Secretary General of the TUC • Unison • National Union of Students • National Union of Farmers • Stephen Hawking • Chief Executive of the NHS • 300 of the most prominent international historians • Director of Europol • David Anderson QC, Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation • Former Directors of GCHQ • Secretary General of Nato • Church of England • Friends of the Earth • Greenpeace • Director General of the World Trade Organisation • WWF • World Bank • OECD Here are pretty much the only notable people who think we should leave the EU: • Boris Johnson, who probably doesn’t really care either way, but knows he’ll become Prime Minister if the country votes to leave • A former Secretary of State for Work and Pensions who carried out a brutal regime of cuts to benefits and essential support for the poorest in society as well as the disabled and sick • The guy who was Education Secretary and every single teacher in the country hated with a furious passion for the damage he was doing to the education system • Leader of UKIP • BNP • All the racists in the land • Vladimir Putin • Donald Trump • Keith Chegwin • David Icke • Jim Sillars Hopefully that helps!
  3. I heard a member of the public being interviewed on the radio the other day, and she was voting Leave so that we can get more powerful hairdriers!
  4. ICT reject Callum Morris has just joined Aberdeen. Quite an upward trajectory he's on - Morpeth, Dunfermline, Dundee Utd, Aberdeen.
  5. I see Andre Blackman is now at Fez in Morocco. This is the guy who got convicted last year for running out of Harrods with a £1,200 jacket. He'd be well advised not to go shoplifting in an Arab country......
  6. Jordan Gibbons, loanee from QPR in 2013, has been released by Yeovil.
  7. Swindon Advertiser announced today that after an injury-hit season, Jordan Roberts has joined Highworth Town - but it appears to be a different Jordan Roberts!
  8. It's just struck me that the purpose of the first 2 weeks and 36 matches of the tournament is to eliminate a mere 8 of the 24 teams, taking it down to 16 which is what the Euros usually start off with! Not that I'm complaining, plenty of football to watch while there's no ICT.
  9. Hopefully Ward gets a red card, OFW comes on to save the penalty and then makes some more amazing saves to secure the win and become a hero, we then accept a £2m offer for him on Monday and promptly re-sign Dean Brill.
  10. When the Can-Can came on it made me think of Forres Mechanics!
  11. Daily Record website reported yesterday that Motherwell are hopeful of beating a number of other clubs to sign Dean Brill. Meanwhile, Yogi's dud striker Liam Hughes has signed for Barrow!
  12. This signing is a break from the Hughes approach (and I don't just mean signing a recognised striker!) in that we are taking on a player, on a longish term deal too, without him having been up on trial and likely without anyone at the club having even seen him play. A bit of a risk, but hopefully there has been at least one strong recommendation from a reliable source. Butcher would surely have been involved somewhere in all this, and whilst he has no interest in helping ICT, I've no doubt that he wants Foran to succeed as a manager.
  13. Apparently the Premiership U20 teams will be taking part in this season's Challenge Cup (the one usually just for lower league sides) along with senior teams from NI and Wales! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36483962
  14. Which prompts the question, are we signing him instead of Mckay?
  15. In January 2014 (6 months after he left us) he announced his retirement - not because of injury, but because he didn't want to relocate his family again and couldn't get a club near where they wanted to live. Shortly after, he joined Needham Market who were splashing the cash in the regional Rymans/Isthmian league. After 18 months there he left to do coaching at the Ipswich Academy. He is married to George Burley's daughter.
  16. Craig Dargo
  17. ....which would have been reflected in the signing on fee, wages or even a special bonus that would no doubt have been built in to OFW's contract! And rightly so.

It would be fantastic if Hughes was still on our payroll and Hibs wanted him, as they'd then have to offer us compensation (like Celtic had to pay Liverpool for Brendan Rodgers) plus it would mean we hadn't needlessly paid him off with a lump sum.
  19. But Ross Draper has again been left out of the England squad. Boooo!
  20. Our keeper has made the final Wales squad. Well done Owain.

Rotherham have been given permission to speak to Alan Stubbs, so there could be a vacancy at Hibs soon. Surely Hughes won't be so flukey as to get a massive pay off from us then move straight into a better paid job with a bigger budget, and based near his family too?!!!
  22. May 2015 - ICT end the season looking forward to a foreign adventure May 2016 - ICT end the season looking forward to a Foran adventure!
  23. Richie Foran! Let's hope he's a darn sight more successful than all the others mentioned!
  24. Don't worry, all you're missing out on is a 25 minute keyboard solo and a 15 minute drum solo. (I haven't actually watched it, it's just an educated guess.)
