  1. You never know, if there's about 4 hours of injury time, that might be long enough for enough for us to at least get 2 shots on target!
  2. According to the BBC match report stats, in our last 3 games we have mustered a grand total of 3 shots on target, ie 1 per game. None of these games were against good or in-form teams. I know this is telling us nothing we don't really know already, but it's a pretty disgraceful stat all the same.
  3. I'm so down I can't even bring myself to raise a wee smile at this shoddy bit of BBC reporting: After a forgettable first half, Carlton Morris scored the only goal of the game with a low shot across Michael McGovern which went in off the far post.
  4. What a truly awful few days, taking nothing from two very poor sides.
  5. Where games in hand used to be an opportunity to earn points and gain ground, now they just seems to be a means to pick up more injuries and suspensions!
  6. I can see him as an excellent defender (compared to the alternatives, at least) but the reason I don't really want to see him there is that he's been our best midfield/attacking player for the last few weeks and he would be a great loss in that respect.
  7. Fantastic news!
  8. Amongst all this doom and gloom, let's balance it out by considering the positives from tonight's performance.
  9. That. Was. Grim.
  10. Just heading out to the game, and I can't say I'm confident given the number of players out - the lack of pace and creativity upfront looks like being it's worst ever. But you never know....
  11. Sacked today, alas. At least it'll allow him to "focus" on his main job as an optician.
  12. Did anyone else briefly go "Aaaargh!" when Mutombo took a touch instead of taking it first time?
  13. So at this moment in time we are the 2nd highest ranked team by league position, but the 2nd lowest by player wage bill.
  14. There appears to be a bit of a gulf in class between the top of the Championship and the middle of the Premier, but let's hope we can buck that trend.
  15. Shortened of course to ICTC, which when you say it fast sounds just like AC/DC! Could the team have run out to Back in Black (and red)? Whole Lotta Tokely?
  16. For me, Brill 2014/15 > Fon Williams 2015/16. Brill was brill, but is Brill still brill?
  17. It's free these days (companies house documents, not shares!)
  18. Just for the record, the Annual Return filed at Companies House this week confirms that it was indeed the Scotlog/Catto shares that were transferred to the Highland Hospice.
  19. Have you tried Google Maps Street View? https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@55.9684664,-3.1599191,3a,75y,281.3h,90t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sAGbB_rZhXVpv2VpZnU3hsg!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo2.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3DAGbB_rZhXVpv2VpZnU3hsg%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D289.65454%26pitch%3D0!7i13312!8i6656
  20. It's an interesting approach that definitely has some merit.....but when was the last time we were gubbing a team with 20 minutes to go?!
  21. You mean televise the County v Utd game instead?!
  22. He is right, though, that thanks to Sturgeon's pronouncements, for us the forthcoming referendum is nothing to do with the EU and everything to do with Scottish independence. Look, another once in a lifetime opportunity, only 2 years since the last one! Still, we can all look forward to a few months of unashamed hypocrisy from the SNP, as they extol the virtues of being controlled by a distant parliament that Scotland didn't vote for. The line Charles quoted is indeed a belter, and I notice that nobody is even attempting to defend the double standards.
  23. The aggregate score from our last 6 trips to Celtic is 24-2 - and the 2 came when we were already 4-0 down! I can't imagine any other team has done so badly there in recent times.
  24. Nice thought, but if and when he moves to another Scottish club it'll be Aberdeen, surely.
  25. He has 1 goal in his last 12 games, and none in the last 7. Even Dani Lopez was more prolific than that! Storey's still been a big asset to the team in that time, but really, no other team would persist so long with something that wasn't working - yet we find ourselves with no credible alternative. Very unlucky that Fisher got injured so soon after signing. At least we have been getting a decent number of goals from midfield.
