It's the close season so....
Was it your wedding anniversary?

Where are the goals coming from?
It's not uncommon for young attacking players to be given defensive roles in reserve matches, purely to improve their all round game and defensive qualities and perhaps toughen them up a bit. It doesn't necessarily mean they are any good there.

Fixture List
In terms of potential attendances and income, before the split we get 2 home games against each of Celtic, Rangers and County! Only 1 v Aberdeen and Hearts, but overall our board will be very pleased with the draw.

Ex-ICT players in management
Bobby Mann caretaker-managed Dundee for a couple of games in Division 1 (the same season he swept the board with all their player of the season awards) and was assistant to Steve Paterson whilst playing for Formartine. And what a player he was, one of the most talented defenders we've ever had, despite his weight problems. Outstanding when it came to positioning and ball winning, whilst his distribution to the wingers was the stuff of legend. I stumbled across some footage of him taken last year, and nobody will be surprised to learn that he's not got any slimmer..... If you play the video below, you'll see him from about 5 to 8 seconds. https://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/2015/11/18/watch-as-the-tele-takes-on-dundee-and-united-legends-at-bubble-soccer/

Best not mention the time I helped my uncle jack off a horse!

Summer Transfer Window Thread
A wee note to the person who drafted the ICT press release on Mulraney - there's a huge difference between him becoming "a fan's favourite" and "a fans' favourite" Grammar and punctuation might seem pedantic, but it's the difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit!

Summer Transfer Window Thread
I'm sure I've read though that Rangers are paying for Josh Windass and Jordan Rossiter in the same scenario. It seems that the compensation is a fraction of what their club would have received had the player gone to another English club, but there is a fee to pay all the same.

I get confused by the various transfer regulations, but if he is 20 and turned down an extension from QPR, aren't they due a development fee?

Fixture List
A more pertinent observation is that both this season and last, our competitive season kicks off on 16th July......but instead of the glamour of Astra in the Europa League, we have the glamour of Cowdenbeath at Central Park!

Fixture List
A random observation is that our September comprises just Aberdeen, Celtic and Dundee, and so does November. Drops mic.....

Anyone know why don't Killie want him any more?

What has Sydney got that Inverness hasn't? Sydney Opera House................Eden Court! Harbour Bridge...............Kessock Bridge!

Contract Situation
Why are you assuming that we won't bring in another defender?!! We offered Devine a contract so clearly the need has been identified and there must be money in the budget for one - perhaps even a better one!

Ex-ICT players' news
I see Andre Blackman is now at Fez in Morocco. This is the guy who got convicted last year for running out of Harrods with a £1,200 jacket. He'd be well advised not to go shoplifting in an Arab country......

Ex-ICT players' news
Jordan Gibbons, loanee from QPR in 2013, has been released by Yeovil.

Contract Situation
Swindon Advertiser announced today that after an injury-hit season, Jordan Roberts has joined Highworth Town - but it appears to be a different Jordan Roberts!

Euro 2016 Finals
It's just struck me that the purpose of the first 2 weeks and 36 matches of the tournament is to eliminate a mere 8 of the 24 teams, taking it down to 16 which is what the Euros usually start off with! Not that I'm complaining, plenty of football to watch while there's no ICT.

Euro 2016 Finals
Hopefully Ward gets a red card, OFW comes on to save the penalty and then makes some more amazing saves to secure the win and become a hero, we then accept a £2m offer for him on Monday and promptly re-sign Dean Brill.

When the Can-Can came on it made me think of Forres Mechanics!

Ex-ICT players' news
Daily Record website reported yesterday that Motherwell are hopeful of beating a number of other clubs to sign Dean Brill. Meanwhile, Yogi's dud striker Liam Hughes has signed for Barrow!

- Summer Transfer Window Thread
This signing is a break from the Hughes approach (and I don't just mean signing a recognised striker!) in that we are taking on a player, on a longish term deal too, without him having been up on trial and likely without anyone at the club having even seen him play. A bit of a risk, but hopefully there has been at least one strong recommendation from a reliable source. Butcher would surely have been involved somewhere in all this, and whilst he has no interest in helping ICT, I've no doubt that he wants Foran to succeed as a manager.- ICT in Challenge Cup
Apparently the Premiership U20 teams will be taking part in this season's Challenge Cup (the one usually just for lower league sides) along with senior teams from NI and Wales! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36483962- Where are the goals coming from?
Which prompts the question, are we signing him instead of Mckay? - Summer Transfer Window Thread
