Summer Transfer Window Thread
Currently on trial at Blackburn who will make a decision after their game today. Owen Coyle quoted as saying the player "already has numerous offers from Scottish clubs" with Dundee being pretty public about their interest. So basically he won't be coming here!

Inverness CT -V- Arbroath
It's not often I expect us to thrash a team but after Tuesday's result and the poor quality of our opponents, today was one of these days - so I very very nearly put a bet on us to win 6-0. Thankfully I didn't, after remembering the last time I bet on 6-0…....…looking good until the boys ruined it with a late 7th (at Ayr)!

New 2016/17 kit
I'm not one to unduly criticise the club, but I never cease to be amazed at how amateur we appear when it comes to getting kits on sale in good time to maximise sales. It's up to the club to plan the process and to manage the supplier. It can't always be someone else's fault.

Inverness CT -V- Dundee Utd
So how are we treating this result, a draw or a defeat?! The CTO results page shows it as a defeat, but the fact that we got a point suggests it should be down as a draw. The shoot-out simply earned Utd a bonus point, they didn't get the 3 they'd have got for a win. I guess we are seeing in most places that stats software is not geared up for this format, and the tournament is too minor for anyone to bother upgrading it to cope!

Euro 2016 Finals
Third in their group and in 90 mins they only won one of their 7 matches. But it was a tournament of surprises that will be remembered mainly for the relative success of the "Mickey Mouse" footballing nations - Iceland in the last 8, Wales in the last 4, and England getting out of their group...

Euro 2016 Finals
When the tournament started I put my money on Portugal as a "good value" bet - and regretted it every time I saw them play - until yesterday, at least!

Summer Transfer Window Thread
Even if someone can work it out (towards £100k?), what none of us know is how much of it might end up as a bonus for OFW himself. He was in a pretty strong position to negotiate on this point, and who could blame him.

Brora v ICT
Aye just saw that, 90th minute. Full time now. Foran remains winless as a manager.

Brora v ICT
Anyone got any info on the team line-up? All I can find about the game is that we (apparently) went 1-0 down in the 74th minute, about 10m now remaining, but I have no idea how reliable xscores.com is.

He's about to turn 34 - not remotely the profile of a typical ICT signing. In fact when did we last sign someone that old?!

Gayfield? 2-0 win?

Euro 2016 Finals
You'd expect Italy and Germany to take excellent penalties but some of them were just terrible. I don't think Zaza will be adopting this run-up strategy again.

Ex-ICT players' news
Well yes, it is good that he has found a senior club and has a chance to build on this and get noticed, but if you hadd said to him when he was in our matchday squads that he'd soon be on trial at Albion Rovers......

That one was just too easy!

Euro 2016 Finals
Blimey, well done Wales! Great team effort and well deserved, even with the benefit of a couple of major incorrect decisions by the ref. As for OFW, there can't be many Scottish based players who have reached the semi-finals of an international tournament! Who was the last?

Can't believe our 16/17 season is getting underway already, especially when our keeper hasn't yet finished his 15/16 season!
