Ex-ICT players' news
Found him! Last week he went on trial with Partizan (Belgrade) and has since scored in a friendly. According to a Serbian article, the "dark skinned attacker" had an unsuccessful trial at the same club back in 2014.

Probably just wanted a wee word in his ear, but with his usual lack of finesse and control.....

BBC initially announced him as the scorer but the goal has since been awarded to another player. He's still being credit with the straight red though!

Motherwell -V- Inverness CT
Looking at the league table, a couple of things caught my eye. I hadn't realised that our games have contained more goals than every other team except Celtic. Only them and Aberdeen have scored more than us, whilst only Killie have conceded more. It's slightly surprising to be as high as 6th given the results we've had. If you extrapolate our points per game across the season (very simplistic, I know) we'd end up with 45 points. That's 7 less than last season and would put us in 10th place - but well clear of relegation. Having now played every team once, I would describe this start to the season as no less than "satisfactory" given our rookie manager and limited resources. If Foran can keep learning and if any of our strikers can become reasonably prolific, there's potential to do much better than satisfactory.

It always makes you feel a bit better than getting the same final result but having thrown away a lead, but still, we really should be doing better than salvaging a draw in fixtures like today's and the one at Hamilton. Interestingly, in our 11 matches since the league started, the only 2 games we've won just happen to be the only 2 where we've scored the first goal.

Doumbouya or Fisher ?
It speaks volumes that in a discussion of which of our strikers should be first choice, with the best will in the world none of us could justify a comment along the lines of "it's a nice problem to have".

Hamilton -V- Inverness CT
Sighs of relief all round, and an away draw is never really a bad result. But most of us had high hopes of winning this one after our very decent run of form, having (indirectly) shown ourselves to be as good as Man City!

Has Mutombo got a club yet? You'd have thought that with a fair bit of talent and some televised goals he wouldn't find it at all difficult, but after a quick search he still seems to be out of work - for a brief moment though I thought he'd returned to the continent to sign for Vereinslos, until I realised it's the German word for out of contract!

Allardyce
It's perfectly normal for an England manager's reign to end in shame and public humiliation, but usually that happens at a tournament!

Very satisfying. And if we had beaten either Partick or County we'd be joint second!

ROSS DRAPER INCIDENT
Was he fouled? Yes. Did he want to be fouled? Yes. We've never had a player so adept at drawing fouls. Barry Wilson was good at it but used a bit of "simulation" here and there. Draper isn't that kind of player.

That is a terrific point for us, a real bonus given the number of chances Celtic had in the 2nd half. Great work guys - team and management.
