  1. Had a vivid dream that we were in the Europa League final against German side Bochum. At the end of 90 mins, Bochum celebrated wildly, at having kept us to 0-0. There was then a bit of a hoo-haa when they were insisting that it should go straight to penalties rather than extra time. But common sense prevailed, and Tansey scored in the first period which was had me celebrating so much that unfortunately it woke me up and I'll never know how the game ended.
  2. I'veactually got a family holiday in south-west England in the middle of July which is likely to clash with our "maiden" trip into Europe, but I could always miss part of the holiday. In other words, "Devon Can Wait"

What exactly did you sponsor, his sling?!
  4. I remember a few years ago when teams like Rangers and Liverpool chartered planes to their away ties, they were flown by Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, who kept himself busy when not on tour by working as a commercial pilot. That would be an interesting flight. "6 - 6 - 6, the number of the beast!"
  5. Que sera sera Whatever will be will be We're going to....Hungary? Que sera sera
  6. And the singing continued til about 5pm, when the players and management reappeared to take a bow!
  7. Yeah, I particularly liked the continental style songs, nice touch guys.
  8. With all the celebration of our achievement, I've only just noticed that we actually got a clean sheet today! This was our first in 15 matches against Premier league sides, since Esson came on for Brill at Hamilton. (we did get one v Raith in the cup though) Esson certainly earned a clean sheet today with a really solid performance and a tremendous save quite late on when it looked like Dundee had equalised.
  9. Here you go. http://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/progress/inverness?show=position
  10. I think our 3 consecutive defeats in December briefly took us down to 5th place, but we quickly bounced back to 3rd and stayed there.
  11. ...and check they haven't expired!

    Oui oui!
  13. The game on Saturday will be the 5th time in our short history that we go into a game knowing that a victory puts us into Europe. If it doesn't go to plan at Dens, we'll still have a 6th, 7th and 8th chance before the end of the season!
  14. We've only won 3 of our last 12 matches, but my goodness, we chose the right 3!
  15. Tannadice for me. We've apparently played Utd there 19 times and I think I've only missed a couple of them, one of which was the remarkable 4-4 when we were 3-0 down.
  16. In that second scenario, when would pre-season training have to start? There's barely time for a fortnight's holiday for the players and coaches.
  17. As is the tradition, having completed a fairy tale on the park, their rightful place in the top flight can only be claimed if they also defeat Partick Thistle's lawyers.
  18. Terry is in the running to be Newport County manager.

Is Marley Watkins becoming the Welsh Gregory Tade?!

Goals per game ratio is much better than our striking legends!
  21. As for "Meekingsgate 2", is there any official confirmation yet that he was indeed eligible to play yesterday, and that for the 2nd time in less than a week the SFA wrongly tried to ban him?
  22. Aye, they are within a point of us if we get our usual defeat at McDiarmid.
  23. 8 league matches without a win now. Zilcho points from 4 games v Aberdeen, combined with zilcho points from our 3 games v Partick. It's been an amazing season whatever happens now, but if we knew how to beat those 2 teams we could be champions!
  24. Does the totting up procedure carry forward bookings from season to season or is the slate wiped clean?
  25. Looks to me like you were really just trying to get pics of the G4S lassie.
