Just had a look at the final standings: 10 Mckay (left) 9 Watkins (leaving) 8 Tansey 6 Ofere (possibly leaving) 6 Doran 4 Meekings 4 Christie 3 Warren 3 Ross (possibly leaving) 3 Shinnie 3 Williams 2 Vincent (possibly leaving) 1 Devine 1 Raven A few observations: Good contribution from Tansey, helped by role as penalty taker Not on the list is Draper, with 37 appearances but no goals. For all his talent, it's a little bit surprising that Christie is barely more prolific than our defenders! At the bottom of the list, Vincent, Devine and Raven have 4 goals between them - 3 of those were the winning goals in the Cup QF, Semi and Final!

Matchday Thread Inverness CT -V- Falkirk (Cup Final)

I'm just thinking back to "that feeling" that I'm sure most of us experienced between 87 and 96 minutes. It's a weird cocktail of tension, excitement, happiness, agony, nerves and sheer disbelief. The kind of feeling you just don't get in any other aspect of life. It's actually pretty well summed up by this:- 116 replies

A keeper just needs to be loaned in until Brill is ready.

Based on that video, some people may draw the conclusion that these so called professional athletes had perhaps indulged in a little bit of alcohol. The club's lawyers have asked me to set the record straight. The players had indulged in a lot of alcohol.

More to the point, she managed to leave with it too!

Nice idea, but I don't think even Immortal Howden Ender could manage 2,528 pints, could he? Having said that, if they were spread over the course of a year, and interspersed with regular square go's....!

I think there are ferries from there to Israel! You'd have a job getting to Turkey though.

The Cup Final attendance of 37,149 was more than most people would have expected for two "wee" teams. If it had been just 234 people fewer, I'm sure critics in the media would have been quick to point out that it was the lowest attendance since 1921. As it turned out, the lowest in 20 years isn't quite so bad!

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but despite all our pre-match concerns about card-happy Willie Column, I thought he had a really good game. Only issued 2 cards, both correctly, and got the other big decisions right (eg claim for handball v Draper). The fact that nobody's talking about the ref is always a good sign.- 116 replies

ICTFC the 25th ......................
Yngwie replied to GaidhealtachdDosser's topic in Caley Thistle
When you look at how long certain other clubs have gone without winning the Cup, it makes you realise that this really is a time to savour and appreciate. Years since win: 18 Killie 24 Motherwell 25 Aberdeen 28 St Mirren 94 Partick 105 Dundee 113 Hibs (Queen Victoria had only just died!) -

It's great to have our name on the cup, but I don't like the way they've done it! Same sized letters as Celtic, please! -
St J certainly did sell more season tickets, making a real effort to capitalise on the Cup euphoria, and I hope we do the same. However, the reason for most of their increase, I suspect, is that they got 3 home fixtures v Celtic, as well as 2 derbies against newly promoted Dundee (plus the usual 2 home games against Utd and Aberdeen).

Cool - I've always quite fancied going to one of those places where you are met at the airport by mental fans with flares and "WELCOME TO HELL" banners. And we should of course reciprocate when they come here!

Can understand why you're gutted after Falkirk did so well and got the better of us in the 2nd half. Looking for positives, at least you're not as gutted as your keeper is, and also, your pre-season won't be ruined by those pesky Europa ties....

Could they not squeeze in a wee detour through Dingwall?!

I was surprised (and disappointed) at how quickly the Falrkirk end emptied when the whistle went. Their players did very well to get to this stage, gave everything and played well on the day against a better team. When Falkirk went up to collect their medals they got well deserved and very respectful applause from all the ICT fans but there only a fraction of their own support was there to see it. I'd like to think we'd have stayed for the presentations had it been the other way around, as nearly all of us did at the League Cup final.- 116 replies

Someone showed me some funny footage on Facebook of the team in high spirits on Auchterader High St - I think they were replicating a song and dance Liverpool did recently. Can anyone get it on here?- 116 replies

Last year I went to see St Johnstone's bus parade through Perth on the Sunday morning. It was pretty clear that some of the players hadn't been to bed and Stevie May in particular was utterly wasted!

Yogi said today that Watkins will be leaving.

To have your song played at Hampden whilst ICT are parading the Scottish Cup is something you could only dream of and something to be very proud of, well done!
