Contract talks
Many thanks to The Sun, for joining our campaign to persuade A Shinnie that he shouldn't go to Aberdeen. http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/4755025/Dons-eye-move-for-boss-Del.html

Hard Of Hearing
For once he was too slow in getting out of the way.

ICT -V- Aberdeen
Very confident and composed finish for his first goal. Most strikers would have struck it earlier.

Who was chasing Shinnie after he scored?

ICT -V- Aberdeen
I think we might be safe from relegation now! Our 37 points matches the highest ever for a relegated team (us) and our GD is currently 33 better than it was then. I declare that phase 1 of our mission has been accomplished.

6th minute applause for Terry Butcher
We just won 3-0 to retain 2nd place. SUCCESS.

Great result, wasn't sure what to expect after the winter break but it looks like more of the same!

Even the Daily Ranger has noticed us
The problem for journalists is that they have space to fill, and tight deadlines, so they have to come up with a "story" even when there is none. On a similar subject, I had to smile at one of BBC Sport Scotland's main stories this morning has the headline "Dundee United job 'very attractive' to Gary Bollan" In other words : "Man who's been unemployed for a year quite likes the sound of a £120,000 salary". Shockerooney!

Contract talks
Butcher has now confirmed that Shinnie hasn't accepted our contract offer. “We have reached an impasse with Andrew. He has all the cards so we will wait and see what he does with them. The ball is in his court." Oh well. Next!

Contract talks
If only Butcher had gone to Barnsley, we'd could have used the windfall to retain our best players. Butcher out!

Gordon Strachan (Scotland manager)
Do these "nat hats" come pre-fitted with rose tinted glasses? Anyway, your broadcasting idea would breach EU laws.

Pep to Bayern
Nah, he had to take this job because Strachan pipped him to the Scotland one.

ICT wiki
I've split the grammar debate off into a separate thread in Serious Topics so that this one can remain focused on discussing the wiki project.

Brora Rangers FC home for the elderly ex-ICT
This one has been doing the rounds for a good few weeks, but it wouldn't surprise me given all the resources they seem to have. It would however contradict this statement in the Zander article - "Everyone knows the intentions of Brora, we are trying to build a quality young squad and a squad that will be here for years and years"

Jan Transfers
Interestingly this Ikonomou was part of the Kaval FC team that was found guilty of match fixing in 2011 and relegated several divisions.

County sign defender Evangalos Ikonomou. But surely if Adams watched the news any time in the last couple of years, he'd know that the Greek Ikonomou is dire?

Signs when you know you're a ICT supporter.
So you might think! For the uninitiated, the Summer Wine Crew, comprising (left to right) Naelifts, Mantis and Wanderer, became known as one of the most fearsome gangs of casuals ever to wear incontincence pants to a game.

Tour de France
Reports are that Armstrong has confessed to Oprah. If that is confirmed when the interview is broadcast on Thursday, I'm just wondering how the "defence lawyers" on this thread will explain away this latest piece in a long line of damning evidence? Will it be "The tape must have been doctored" or perhaps "If he's a liar then his confession can't be trusted either" ?

When was that "scandal", about 2002?

Gordon Strachan (Scotland manager)
Best option available IMO. But then again, I also thought Levein was a good appointment.
